Firebirds (and any other fortune/misfortune unit) stack multiplicatively. I.e. if you have N firebirds, each one rolls separately against its probabiltiy. So it's a binominal distribution, and the mean number of events is N*P, where the probability P=0.02 in this case, but you can have zero or two or more events as well.
Regarding the scales rock, the larger already gives +30% hp so your thugs already regen +1 hp per turn. Also a rainbow with WDE and some small utility bless doesn't sound bad, at least it allows you casting the cool water summons and improves diversity
Liking cold scales is actually more of a benefit to a nation with strong Fire magic than a downside, because although cold scales and snow (which is what rain turns into in cold provinces) reduce heat auras, neither of them affect fire damage, and unlike rain, snow does not double the fatigue cost of Fire spells. This means you don't have to worry about someone walking into your Fire Elemental spam doomstack and killing it's effectiveness with a single cast of an Evocation 2 Water 2 spell as long as it's in your temperature.

You know what? I maneged to find some bad pixel art of a chicken in 32p, so I'm gonna do it! Not exactly what I had planned for my second mod nation but eh.
Any interesting ideas for chicken units or spells?
What about a halfling nation with size 1 chicken rider sacreds, hoburg priests and stuff like that? And what happens, if you put "good formation fighter" ability on a size 1 unit?

Evocation : Nature 1 - Astral 1 , Far peck , better version of far strike.
Evocation N6S4 Relentless Chirping: 100% Battlefield, extra Fatigue for all non chickens with an easy to negate paralyse.
It would be neat to see a ea rus multiplayer game.
Larger is nice, but a decent number of your thugs/buffers can cast enlarge anyways, so it's not a big worry to leave it out of your bless.
That rock as people have stated already gave them 30% hp from larger. So isnt that last point perfect for lowlight vision using the solar eclipse you mentioned. Sacred bears with above average bearstats in darkness is scary, no? :D
You get 2 RP in your other forts as well.
I hear some early age rus(sian) chickens in the background. Are they capital only?

It was before the nerf but I have in fact won a game with luck/regen skinshifters. You can take almost any throne province with about 30 and you will lose almost none expanding. The only thing that that was a problem for me was Formian SCs.

Rus Bless is larger + some other rainbow stuff. helps your mages helps your thugs your summons etc Chris Lighthawk has a good bless for them in a GC game at the moment
It is not me that have that bless as I am playing Agartha (my bless is pretty good too though). It is Jimbo that is playing Rus.

I like the reduced gem generator chassis they get. Still a titan, great for getting good summons out earlier because gems and cute.
