Excellent transmission! If you step back and think about the fact that almost everything we are taught is taught in 2d. Pages/formulas in a book or on a screen. The “bark on the tree” example is great because it shows that learning about trees in books is good, but it can never explain what the individual actually sees in a tree. You don’t need to be a tree hugging hippie to realize this and adjust. 🤙🏼😊✌🏼
I was listening to this in my car on the way to work. It ended, and I turned on the radio… immediately the beginning of Billy Joel’s “River of Dreams” was playing!💜💜 It sent amazing shivers down my spine.
Thank you, really good stuff…even just the act of paying attention and writing down my dreams has had a profound effect on me. I had an insight about a recent dream while listening to this. I love Robert Johnson’s books that I’ve read, Inner Work is next! 🙏🏻❤️
Interesting 🤔 I do think there is a relationship between the rare precog dream and having an acuity for recognizing synchronicity… appreciate all you share with us friend! & ive taken Laurences advice about noting dreams before moving too much and it’s been helpful at remembering more- also I love the idea of ritual- almost like Persephone returning to the land of the living and seeds emerging to the light of day
So glad for this refresher; I got some important reminders, especially about rituals, as well as resisting the more obvious interpretations (which I’m inclined to do with bodies of water). Sometimes you get more insight if you come back to the uninterpreted ones after some time has passed. Thank you for a great transmission! Looking forward to your upcoming Active Imagination one. 🙏🏼
Truly excellent video. Thoroughly enjoyed. 👏👌 You frequently feature amazing guests on your channel, but particularly love your solo work, tbph. Have you considered formally writing anything yourself, I wonder?
Thank you my brother in Mercury. I appreciate the way you can focus that learning spirit. Mine is a bit all over the place. That said, I do feel at home here. Keep up the good...work?
I don't dream a lot, sometimes I wake up and remember it, sometimes I wake up with the feeling of having dreamt about someone but don't remember the dream. Anyway, my dreams are usually stories 😅 like me and my dogs on a military mission or me & people I know doing things. The only strange dream I had was seeing someone in particular and then 3:33 in a big flashy green light. And I have lots of synchronicities about this specific person
I find it incredibly interesting that recognitive dreams are rare. I have had them all of my life. Mainly before major life changing events. I would be highly interested in tapping into that resource further!🎉
I will say that when you consider that the outer world is just a projection of all of our collective inner worlds, it helps to understand how precognitive dreams occur. It begins first in the inner world for all of us which is strange when we realize we react to the outer world! that’s just my 2c
Looking forward to your upcoming active imagination video! I’ve recently gotten into that and wow did I go deep! It was amazing. Love your channel btw. You, Curt and Jesse are my top three favorite YTubers 🥰
I’ve learned to take anything you find deeply interesting seriously. Began paying closer attention to my dreams over the last several months. Writing down the most salient images and feelings. Was even able to close a couple loops which didnt so much inflate my ego but grounded myself more deeply in life. So thankful for that. Just ordered Johnsons and Hillmans books on dreams. Do you know anything about Hillmans other book on dream animals? Strong animals presences seem to make regular appearances in both my dream and waking life.
Nice! Inner Work is super practical, Hillman’s goes deep into myth and symbolism. Hillman has some great lectures too. I have not read the dream animal one, sounds interesting.
This was amazing. Im going to get the book you recommended. I had this strange dream a bit ago where I saw a book floating in a dark void, bound in leather with intricate carvings and a red stone in the center. The book opened and the pages were blank. Then I heard a voice say, this is your soul. I am excited to try out these methods to help me unravel my psychological knots. I wonder what archetype the book represents. Im thinking metatrons cube. Or the book of life. This could be tied to my fear of the unknown or death.
In 1982 an angel briefly appeared to me and held up a white blank slate... Your adventure for truth is being observed by the Being you seek. Go with it.❤
Just starting to listen, and wanted to pop in to share with readers (for what it’s worth) that I highly recommend the valuable book INNER WORK by Robert Johnson.
Thanks for this new transmission! I do dream journaling and sometimes wonder whether it actually achieves anything… this is encouraging me to keep it up and give the ritual aspect a try. Unrelated, bc i'm looking at the chat replay: "troupe" is french for troop, so ummm what does France remind you of? ("dream image THIS!")
If u just plan to write your dreams , and as you have suggested touch on the emotions upon waking… the bridge between Sleeping conscious and waking conscious will begin to build.
Yes, that's a good idea. Keep the feeling you had upon waking because that feeling is a major piece of that underlying unconscious process - the one the dream is showing you. You might notice later in the day that something triggers a memory or a partial memory of the dream. That's another way association works. From there, you can begin to build a bridge back to the dream and its meaning. Dream interpretation is often done through this kind of cluster thinking.
There are definitely mornings where I can’t remember anything. I truly think that if want to start a relationship with the unconscious and you make a point of trying to take note of anything you can remember immediately upon waking you’ll probably surprise yourself.
So many variables on sleep, I really can’t answer without more information. But it’s infinitely worth doing some research and trying to improve your sleep quality first and foremost. Good luck 🙏
I had the same problem until I started a dream journal via voice recorder. It didn't take me fully waking to write. I realized, after a while, I was dreaming more than I thought. I just wasn't in a habit of remembering them ~ prioritizing it. Best wishes! 💝🙏💕
it actually does. If you ask dreams about how to help you with the blocks towards more income, your relationship with money etc you will get some good information
@@19bperblinkI've tried this, several times, I'm in need of things and it does not respond with anything of substance towards solving those issues. It only suggests things to help with my emotional life, but that doesn't feed me or keep the lights on.
The ”expectation fulfillment theory of dreaming” by Joe Griffin explains the function of the REM state as the deactivation mechanism for unexpressed emotional arousal accumulated during the day.
When you dream about a blue sweater, it's your subconscious requesting Weezer.

I don’t see the dreams helping with ego needs, like finding food, increasing income, it seems to only be on its own mission.
