It is almost criminal that they are not world famous because they are as good as anything that ever existed in the genre. I've seen some great stuff. I've seen Tipton and Downing live decades ago, and these women are right there with them. They have a new bassist as far as I know because they have said on twitter that they were done with final auditions , but not made any announcements yet. There are no losers in Lovebites tracks. Some are better than others, and personal tastes vary, but they don't do mediocre.
Right, the blame on JBL Victor entertainment or Japanese habit about their overly strict copy right guard. They are so keen to protect their copy right, UA-cam channels can't spread musicians' presence.
It is criminal I agree. This talent is World Class. No language barriers here. The music speaks too everyone. Sadly our Western Metal scene seems primarily interested in guttural vocals or Scremo type acts. They completely ignore Power Metal with pristeen vocals. Even Night Wish gets little Western air play. Thank God many of us on YT and FB have been street team promoting them. Sadly we have low standards in our Western Corporate acts. This shit would literally be above 80% of artists who play on the radios heads quite frankly.
@@ricdale7813 Megadeth and Dream Theater have been touring in the USA. But those are old established bands. Nothing new is being promoted at all. Lovebites can change that. The only thing holding Lovebites back is a world tour. I'm sure it is their next goal. Because they know it too. Japanese are risk averse, but in this business, you gotta take risks or nothing will ever happen. If Megadeth took Lovebites on tour with them, no doubt those crowds would go ape-shit for Lovebites. Problem is: Lovebites is not an opening act. They are a headlining act.
The Chopin piece performed by Miyako (guitar/keyboard) as the intro is "Etude OP10, No12", known as "Revolution Etude" In 1831, an uprising of some officers and civilians against the Polish government under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, dubbed the "November Revolution", failed due to the direct intervention of Russian forces. Chopin is informed of this news during his travels. he lost his place to return to. When the Russian army invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agents released "Etude OP10, No.12" in Paris. People called it a "revolutionary etude" because of the agent's exaggerated promotion of the song. Miyako composed "SwanSong" with reference to this "revolutionary etude" and Dvorak's "New World Symphony". Former ballerina Asami (vocals) wrote a poem inspired by Norse mythology and "Swan Lake" based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude". "SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim fatherland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES can complete. LB's songs will give you new discoveries and surprises with each song.
By the way, to hear the piano played in a different context by Miyako, and to see many of the sides of Lovebites all in one song, check out Edge of the World (the version from this 2020 show is the best). That song is a musical journey, ending a long way from where it started... here's the link, this one has captions: ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html
LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics: If this was the last day you could live on this earth Would you still go on, accusing someone for today It’s better to fail than not do anything at all It is not the length, but depth of life that counts Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life Sometimes the life of one can save so many more Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Thank you for your reaction! 1. "Etude Op.10, No.12" by the great Polish composer Frederic Chopin, which was written in 1831 and is dedicated to the Polish patriots who raised an uprising (1830-1831) against the Russian Empire, whose troops occupied Poland; 2. "Swan song" ( lyrics - Asami , music -Miyako) from the third album LOVEBITES "Electric Pentagram" (2020). For many centuries (starting from Ancient Greece) there is a legend, according to which swans, non-singing, "silent" birds, acquire a voice a few moments before death, and this dying singing of swans is amazingly beautiful. "Etude" by F. Chopin and "Swan Song" are dedicated to the warriors who died in battle. Therefore, at the concert, "Etude" and "Swan Song" are played together. In an interview given after the release of the "Electric Pentagram" album, Asami said that when she wrote the lyrics of the song, she was thinking about the famous ballet P.I. Tchaikovsky "Swan Lake". During the final part (piano Miyako), symbolizing the death of the Swan, Asami (a former ballerina, studied classical ballet for about 16 years before becoming a singer) depicts a dying Swan on stage as in ballet "Swan Lake". Since the camera at the end of the song is focused on Miyako, Asami's "death of the Swan" did not frame.
I was the same guy as you 5 years ago. One after another song from Lovebites just kills in one way or many other ways. They have No duds no meh material. All 50 songs are Solid Af. Miyako is a genius on another level than most of her contemporaries and Midori is the double and triple picking Goddess of Tastefull yet spectacular shred. Haruna is a Master percussionist period. That Woman sounds so big and strong behind that kit its astounding. She just blows my mind with her cymbal play and her very busy and intricate beats. Lovebites is definitely Fire.
In the "Swan Song", Miyako is playing the "Revolution" etude on piano in the Chopin intro, but that is an arrangement that omits the middle part of the original. That middle part is especially famous for its great activity of the left hand, and she uses a melody arranged by developing the theme of that part in her guitar solo.
They were writing music for one of their albums, Miyako composed & recorded 6 demos before anyone else had recorded one. Asami in an interview described Miyako like this, " everybody should have a Miyako in their band. " ❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎👌
The album was Electric Pentagram and those six demos became Raise Some Hell, Today Is The Day, When Destinies Align, Signs of Deliverance, Set The World On Fire and her masterpiece Swan Song. It is quite the lineup and really shows off her diversity
These ladies have been my favourite band since Electric Pentagram dropped. Disgustingly good. And I believe Miyako has played piano since she was 3 and taught herself guitar at 18. I could be wrong. Miho and Haruna were originally from Destrose. Other members of Destrose are all through several other successful bands too.
welcome to the wolfpack. Great reaction we see the admiration in your eyes for this group. It's normal, it transpires the talent at a level difficult to reach. I give you a mark of 9.5/10
The Chopin intro is not actually part of the song; it's not on the album version of the track. It's more of an opportunity to use the piano more on stage, seeing as they have it there, and to give Miyako a solo spotlight on an instrument she has clearly mastered, but doesn't get to play much during a concert. EDIT: and yes, she plays the piano backing part too. They do use some backing tracks for parts that can't be played live - for instance, unless she had four arms, Miyako couldn't play all the piano and guitar parts together!
The Chopin intro was relevant to the song though, because the arpeggios during the Chorus and Miyako's outro are from a piece known as Ocean (rising and falling waves) from Chopin's 2nd book of 'training' Etudes (the Intro is last Etude in the first book). The names Ocean and Revolutionary (Intro) Etude were not given by Chopin himself - he refused to 'name' any of his compositions other than what kind of piece it was and the key it was in, like 'Sonata in C# Minor'.
the finale and the song (backtrack) are inspired by chopins "ocean etude", the last etude from "12 etudes op.25", the opening is the last etude from "12 etudes op. 10, called the "revolutionary", elements from that one are in miyakos solo. it belongs to the song and is not "just an opportunity to use the piano more".
Miyako is self-taught on guitar, on piano she is classically trained since age 3. Midori is classically trained on piano, and classically trained on guitar, she dropped out of university and entered guitar academy at age 20!
Hello, thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites; they deserve more recognition. You’ve just witnessed greatness. These women are extremely talented, skillful, versatile and proficient musicians. They really shine in their live performances. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Yes, unfortunately Miho left the band last year but they are about to announce the new bass player. When they come back they’re gonna take the world by storm. My next suggestions are “The Awakening/Hammer of wrath”, “Shadowmaker”, “Break the wall” or for a different side “Frozen serenade”, “Edge of the world”, “Epilogue”, “Dancing with the devil” (all live). Their catalog is about 50 songs with practically no fillers. Some people say that rock is not dead, it just moved to Japan.
This is the big reaction I’ve been waiting to see from you. I’m also a musician and I still get goosebumps every time I watch Lovebites perform this masterpiece. A few observations and concurrences. As far as I can tell, the Chopin Intro by Miyako is almost note for note accurate. This piece by Frederic Chopin is very difficult and totally exercises the left hand which is usually used to play the lower register accompaniment to the right hand’s higher register melody. It almost makes me wonder if Herr Frederic was a left handed piano player. Yes, Miyako not only recorded the piano backing track inserted at strategic points, but except for the classical intro and the outro , she composed the main body of Swan Song and interwove elements from both classical pieces into the uplifting theme of the song. The outro is another classical piece that Miyako used as a fitting end to this awesome blend of metal music presented in a delicious sandwich of classical piano music. I read somewhere that Asami (vocalist) wrote the lyrics to Swan Song. Led Zeppelin may have their Stairway to Heaven but they can play Lovebites’ Swan Song at my funeral and I will enjoy a few final goosebumps. Final note, it was inevitable that this level of musical talent and awesomeness would come out of Japan. For decades Japan school system has valued musical education. Geeky little school children carrying their violins, flutes, and other instruments to and from school has long been an image often admired and ridiculed by western society (they’re not laughing now). Combine that with the fact that Japanese culture is a male dominated society where the men are expected to work and the women are expected to serve and entertain, and you end up in this situation where women have become the dominant force in their musical entertainment industry, and they most certainly have become a force with which to be reckoned. Lovebites!
Spot On with the value of Real music education! A lot of those kids put away the violins and flutes and purchase guitars, basses, and drum kits when they reach high school and join a Music Club, and form bands. After 5-10 years, the ones who are Talented and Committed have become parts of the amazing bands we are listening to now. Some of the younger bands like Hagane, Hanabie, and Trident are really doing some cool 'crossover' stuff and playing mix-and-match with genres During their songs - which I find very progressive and exciting. I think that part was pioneered by groups like Band Maid and Gacharic Spin over the last decade or so.
@@Patrick_H. exactly! Add to that mix the Japanese cultural penchant for precise perfection and the evolution of fused music becomes unstoppable. Not too many one-hit wonders in Japan.
The amount of talent in this band is insane. As a reactor said :" its almost criminal have 2 guitarrists of this level on the same band " . Greetings from Portugal. 🐺🤘🐺🤘🐺
Just check out your band's channel. I see "House of Shadow", maybe its great to check out their "Shadowmaker" I see "Until The Frozen" as well and guess what? Lovebites has a song titled "Frozen Serenade". You could check it out later on, I mean later later on, maybe after you check out "Edge of the World"
Fantastic song! Chopin was a Polish composer and one of Miyako's favorites, the piano etude she plays here is not part of the song, its something she likes to play as an intro to this song!! Midori and Miyako are fantastic together, the twin lead power in their songs is phenomenal!! Don't think there is anything they couldn't play!! Haruna is indeed an endless source of energy and tempo mastery, i'm a drums guy, i couldn't play guitar to save my life, so she is my favorite!! Not only is she fast but so creative with her cymbals, total dominance of double kick, ye she's awesome!! 🤘🐺🤘 No one really knows exactly why Miho left, the band said in their statement that they tried several times to make her stay. Miho has been slowly coming back to the music scene, maybe she will join a band or create a new one, who knows!! One song you have to do is Break the Wall Live - ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html
Great analysis and breakdown, really appreciated it as never having touched an instrument. The entire band is next level and Miyako steals the show but Haruna is the superstar for me. Her drumming in this is just insane, non-stop, keeps the pace the entire time. Pound for pound, size-wise (4' 9"), she's the best in the business - just my opinion. If I was a leader of a metal band I would want Haruna as my drummer, wouldn't even consider anyone else. Her double bass is just insane and it helps that she's cute as hell!! 🙂🐺 PS. This is a masterpiece of a song, name a METAL band that does anything close to this and don't say Nightwish. To me this is a speed metal song and yet, they mixed in a grand piano...only Lovebites does that! Just checked your playlist, you've done 3 songs, you have so much more to do and amazingness to experience with the Goddesses in White. Recommendations: Break The Wall live ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html for Slayer vibes and 2 wonderful, yet contrasting solos. To think this song has 22k views, The Big 4 would bend a knee to these ladies immediately after hearing this song Thunder Vengeance live ua-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/v-deo.html 2020 show opener, another the Big 4 would be bending a knee to, the opening riff alone, good God When Destinies Align MV (in 4k) ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html the best power metal harmonized solo I've ever seen Shadowmaker MV ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html one of the fastest power metal riffs I've ever F heard and the best SOUNDING harmonized solo, just terrific, Haruna's drumming once again insane Enjoy the heavy weight champs of heavy metal!!
Awesome review. Miyako is shredding piano? Yes, and also tapping on piano as well. Piano is Miyako's primary instrument, guitar is her secondary instrument. She started playing piano at her 3, and started teaching herself guitar at her 18. Midori started guitar at her 20. Time doesn't mean much to gifted people, looks like it. Revolutionary Etude is known for its difficulty, and Miyako is doing it excellent. The Etude was written about 200 years ago by Chopin in his anger and desperation when he knew Polish cadets and people who arose against Russian dictatorial ruling but failed and defeated, and there is a story with Swan Song which was written 200 years later to be a suite. They both share the same theme which is death of heroes, dedication and sacrifice, honor and glory. And there is one more thing. This suite starts with Chopin Revolutionary Etude piano solo and ends with an homage to Chopin Ocean Etude piano solo. BTW, the motif of the main part is based on New World by Dovolzark. I suggest you to try their Painkiller Judas Priest cover. It's an audio track but insanely good performance. ua-cam.com/video/ivJXmOVsFaA/v-deo.html
In the background there is another track recorded by Miyako (always Chopin but "Ocean etude") that mixed with the intro "Revolutionary etude" and the "The New World symphony" by Dvorak!
There is a lot going on in this song. Fantastic musicianship, impressive lyrics and a beautiful theatrical performance make it something truly special. Do A Frozen Serenade next for something similar.
Chopin (pronounced Show-pan) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France. He is considered one of the greatest classical composers of all time. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now (quite obviously) an elite-level guitarist. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). For this performance, she actually played the Etude as a prelude, but it’s not normally included in their shows.
I share your enthusiasm for LOVEBITES and you have my respect for not giving in to the wish to binge on their discography. I'll look forward to joining you for more LOVEBITES awesomeness. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah, you get it. And you need to just go listen to everything they have done up to this point. And then you can just make this channel a Lovebites reaction channel. LoL! You know by now they are the BEST. I think Miyako is the next Michael Romeo. The songwriting is so good, it almost seems like something fishy is going on here. Whoever is writing these songs, they have decoded the whole entire thing. And they are throwing everything at these songs. There was this dude named Yngwie who once said: "More is more!" Well.... Lovebites is certainly doing MORE! A lot more. They are not holding anything back. They are coming for that #1 spot. Romeo has been holding down that #1 spot for over 25 years. Lovebites is coming for him.
You nailed it when you said it would sound wrong without the piano. It’s why a band this talented basically couldn’t give a shit what people think about their using a backing track. Miyako based this song on two classical pieces. One commenter said that she’s a “dangerous” musician, because there’s virtually nothing she isn’t capable of because of her deep and intuitive understanding of music. She contributes the lions share of songwriting, but all 5 members have written masterpieces. There is no bad Lovebites song. Rest assured. Not one. As for wanting to do Lovebites without a break, just do it. There are too many reactors who allow other bands to distract them. It’s not compulsory to cover the whole “scene”. Me, I’ve never heard any of them. Seriously. I found Lovebites and quickly concluded that as I’d reached the pinnacle I’d stop. I get slammed for saying that but I really don’t care. I love these ladies, I spend hours watching reactions as a way of supporting them and encouraging others to do so. They are waaaaaaay behind a lot of the other J Metal bands in terms of recognition, and that includes Japan, where a Japanese fan replied to me saying that they are virtually unknown in Japan. They need our support. Immerse yourself in Lovebites for a month, I want to see the slow realisation that what I said about there being no bad tracks is indeed true. Go on, I dare you.

Have you heard Asterism ? a 3 piece instrumental metal band from Japan, super young people. Got steve vay I suggest "Dawn" ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html
I told you way back when you said you were a thrash metal fan that you would enjoy these ladies, and I am pleased so see you are enjoying these ladies as much as I do, they are friggin awesome, hard to believe but it gets better, let's keep rocking......👍👍🤘🤘
Well I have so much to say. I’m an old school metalhead (60 ish year old) who loves Thrash Metal. I just came from your other reaction to a new band for you, so please forgive me for being a coming late. Yes, Haruna is a killer drummer. Midori and Miyako are amongst the best guitarists in the world. Asami comes from an R&B background, which is my second most favorite genre to Metal. Yes the backing track on the piano was preformed by Miyako. I love Midori and Miyako and would prefer not to compare their guitar work, but they both started with classical piano, but Miyako stayed with it longer and is a fan of Electric Blues. They are all insanely talented, but have different skills. You mentioned, or reacted to a couple of bands in the Japanese Metal world. Let me give you a couple of side notes. Miyako is apparently close friends with Saki from Nemophila as they exchange birthday gifts. Midori is a fan of Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus from Babymetal. Mr. Ohmura is/was an instructor at the Musician Institute of Japan, Osaka campus. His mentor; Mikio Fujioka was was also an instructor who authored many publications before his untimely passing (RIP). Of course he was also from Babymetal. Midori also attended the very same institute, but I don’t know the specifics of any interactions. Saki is also a fan of BM and NP did a cover of one of their songs. I’m a huge fan of all these Japanese Metal groups, including Band-Maid (B-M). It appears that you like Thrash Metal as I do. I might suggest you dive into LB and NP more before attempting to react to BM. Please don’t misunderstand me. I’m a big BM fan, but they are a fusion band that isn’t just Thrash Metal. It will probably be too much for you, even though they are my favorite group.
@@massivemetalreactions Well thank you for the upcoming reactions. Seriously, I absolutely love all of these groups and Babymetal is my favorite, but please let us help you. This group is is the closest thing to schizophrenic of any metal group on the planet in a loving way. Their musicians are the best on the planet, but are simply session musicians for this group. The group was formed around the vocals of the lead singer with backing vocalists and dancers to the group. The whole concept came about by their producer, who is a long time metalhead by one of the largest talent agencies in Japan who thought the Metal genre was dying. I happen to agree, but his vision was to combine the mainstream J-Pop with Metal, 12 years ago. He was correct. It shouldn’t have worked, but it does! If you simply like Power Metal to Death Metal then Babymetal isn’t for you. Please don’t misunderstand me. They have are Metal, but also have a lot of poppier, flamingo, Bollywood, Viking, than you might like. That’s not to mention that the group is formed around the vocalist (best in the world) with dance, which there is a cultural aspect to. I can explain. Look I love this group, but if you want to try this path please, please let us help you. It is far too easy to get lost, or on the wrong path. If I may add, all of these groups from Japan that you are reacting to are friends to one degree, or another, I especially like the, “sisterhood,” that they display unlike bands in the US that consider themselves rivals. That concept apparently isn’t common in Japan and I like that. If I may add, all of those groups give some degree of respect to BM for breaking down the door for the revival of Metal. They are all different in their sound. They do not compete against each other. However, Babymetal is recognized by all of these fantastic artists as reviving the genres and opening the door to their own success. BM isn’t for everyone as they are the oldest group (of my four), yet youngest front women of any of the the groups. Let us help you.
@@gt1man931 Thank you! I should have been more specific. You are absolutely correct. I’ve been commenting for too long and sometimes forget. Again thank you. I love Band-Maid (B-M) too. I look forward to attending their concert in a couple of months. They are all outstanding, but I think he may enjoy LB, or Nemophila more than my personal favorites.
Incidentally, Haruna (drummer) from Love Bites is best friends with band maid Akane Hirose (drummer). ついでに言うと、 ラブバイツのハルナ(ドラマー)は、バンドメイドの廣瀬茜(ドラマー)と大親友です。
Fortunately you have a lot of Lovebites songs remaining," Love the Thank you to the sky, it represent us" also the covers aren't a lazy try, their put a lot of work on whatever they do, =)
Intro , I think, is Chopin's Revolutionary Etude No. 13, or something , also some Chopin like melodies throughout the song, and her solo. The very end piece, don't know. Miyako is a national, no Global Treasure of talent.
I highly recommend you try the following: you will like them. They are all metal or hard rock or metal with pop. (this is a bit long) ** Band Maid - "secret My lips" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/1Vuca7V-5Ec/v-deo.html (you know them, fantastic song) My favorite band ** Unlucky Morpheus - "CADAVER/REVADAC + sheet music" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/_yrNRhIreyE/v-deo.html (co-ed; super band; talent off the scale; song is in two parts, 2nd part is reverse of the first part; watch the score; only the lyrics and some instruments are changed. Another metal song with piano intro is: Empty daydream, but the intro is from Rachmaninoff, always played by Miyako! If you want to hear something special, watch o react to "Spellbound" and you will many surprises!
12:05 Was that a "Thank you God for blessing us with Lovebites"? Because that is how I feel now - we should all feel so privileged to hear this band in our lifetime.
Miho is the one who left the band. Her reasons have been kept private. There was a three-phase audition process that just wrapped up in August. Theoretically it was open to everyone in the world, but for phases two and three you had to be in Tokyo in July and in August. Financially, that stacks the deck a bit against those not already in Japan. Another band I would like to put on your radar is one of the more unusual Japanese bands. They're eight members strong, all supremely talented, and combine traditional Japanese instruments with rock music. This band blew me away too and now I can't stop listening to them instead of everything else in my collection. I mean, I do listen to other new bands and songs from time to time, and old bands and songs too, but every time I say to myself "Lovebites just sounds better".
If you never considered piano in metal songs, check out another Japanese band, Unlucky Morpheus, and their prominent use of violin. Jill is as much a virtuoso on violin as Miyako is on piano. "Cadaver/Revadac" is a great place to start.
Miyako is a purist and did not enjoy using that Roland digital grand. She prefers the weight, slight delay and percussive impact of a real grand piano. She has been using the same baby grand piano with wood keys for most of her life and has probably played that Chopin piece on it hundreds of times.
the word mediocre or the expression ' passable ' does not exist in any song in LOVEBITES ' catalog. it must have been an agreed upon prerequisite by the members that every song be about perfect in every sense. every band i've ever listened to has at least one stinker or one song that does not resonate with me. i have yet to find that with LOVEBITES. the announcement for the new bassist hopefully will be any day now so they can get back to business. can't wait to see your future reactions to the best band on earth

Next…“A Frozen Serenade” pleeeease!!
@@TheCyberMantis agree, but at this point it is the best way for them to get attention, i was thinking Iron Maiden, the 2nd leg of there tour.
@@jerryajc That works too. Passing the torch. I want to see Lovebites play Rock-In-Rio. Those fans down there will go nuts.
The Chopin piece performed by Miyako (guitar/keyboard) as the intro is "Etude OP10, No12", known as "Revolution Etude"
In 1831, an uprising of some officers and civilians against the Polish government under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, dubbed the "November Revolution", failed due to the direct intervention of Russian forces.

LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics:
If this was the last day you could live on this earth
Would you still go on, accusing someone for today
It’s better to fail than not do anything at all
It is not the length, but depth of life that counts
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair
Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care
You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life
Sometimes the life of one can save so many more
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan

lyrics: asami
music: miyako
arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Thank you for your reaction!
1. "Etude Op.10, No.12" by the great Polish composer Frederic Chopin, which was written in 1831 and is dedicated to the Polish patriots who raised an uprising (1830-1831) against the Russian Empire, whose troops occupied Poland;
For “Swan Song” Miyako combined two of her favorite classics: Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude and Dvorak’s New World Symphony. 🤘🎹🎸🔥
🤘🏻LOVEBITES🐺PERFECTION🤘🏻
These ladies have been my favourite band since Electric Pentagram dropped. Disgustingly good. And I believe Miyako has played piano since she was 3 and taught herself guitar at 18. I could be wrong. Miho and Haruna were originally from Destrose. Other members of Destrose are all through several other successful bands too.
Another masterpiece from Lovebites.🐺🐺🐺🐺
welcome to the wolfpack.
I think you can hear a reference to the Chopin piece in the opening of Miyako's first solo.
You say she couldn't play both together, but then we get Burden of Time.... tbf though, this piece is much more complicated.
@@shazariahl haha yeah, Burden of Time is great, but it would be a bit much to expect that for a whole show! 😁
Mary's Blood is one to check out too! Saki the lead guitarist is also one of the guitarists in Nemophilia.
To play (Chopin Sho Pan) piano at that level is masterful!.. and then just rips on guitar..Great song !
Just check out your band's channel. I see "House of Shadow", maybe its great to check out their "Shadowmaker"
I see "Until The Frozen" as well and guess what?
No one really knows exactly why Miho left, the band said in their statement that they tried several times to make her stay.
PS.

Princess Haruna "the pocket nuclear reactor"!! 🥰
🤘🐺🤘Miyako Watanabe : Piano & guitar composer of the Romantic Metal era 🤘🎹🎸🔥
In the background there is another track recorded by Miyako (always Chopin but "Ocean etude") that mixed with the intro "Revolutionary etude" and the "The New World symphony" by Dvorak!
There is a lot going on in this song. Fantastic musicianship, impressive lyrics and a beautiful theatrical performance make it something truly special. Do A Frozen Serenade next for something similar.
since 5 days. i have my 4 days pass for HELLFEST in france 27/30 of june. Lovebites will be there and i'm so happy because all 4 days are sold out now
Chopin (pronounced Show-pan) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France.
WOW...Masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥great reaction to Lovebites again I totally enjoy It! 🤘😎🤘 Thank's and stay save 😉

Great info. I have a few BM reaction up to. More to come. Thanks for watching!
To be clear, when you see BM with no hyphen, they mean babymetal. If there is a hyphen, that is Band-Maid.
Incidentally,
Haruna (drummer) from Love Bites is best friends with band maid Akane Hirose (drummer).

** Aldious - "Dominator" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/6GwPzPFhgAU/v-deo.html (all female; real banger - one of the oldest all female metal band, a bit unlucky with their lead vocal)
** Bridear - "Brave New World Revisited" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/v-deo.html (all female; most recent single; amazing prog metal - who makes prog metal now days? they've been doing this a long time; still a bit unknown but tenaciously keep trying - I really feel for them - all their songs are actually really good)
** Mary's Blood - "Marrionette" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/MLM2unV0kwU/v-deo.html (all female; they were in the game a long time but went hiatus a short time ago. Saki (g) formed project band Nemophila with her friends and it looks like Nemophila is going to be permanent for real. Saki is famous in the Japan metal scene. She can speak English. She recently did an online interview with Herman Li of Dragon Force. It's really interesting - easy to find on YT.
** Destrose - "Maze" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/cflciEXIgMA/v-deo.html (all female; awesome song; I had to upload my copy - can't find good clips with full length on YT. the Legendary Rock band which spawned numerous bands from the various members. Miho and Haruna in the video went to form Lovebites; Narumi (red hair) was lead guitar who went to join Disqualia with Ibuki. Marina in the video was the best vocal for Destrose - I love her voice, she projects amazing feelings - she went onto form Mardelas. Saki and Ibuki were in the band for short time as well. Mina (the other guitar) went to from Fate Gear. Just search Destrose family tree and you would be amazed. So sad they broke up.
** Mardelas - "Apocalypse" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/Wd8P7wTnWJs/v-deo.html (co-ed; metal band; formed by Marina from Destrose; real banger)

Tamu (drums) and Hazuki joined - Saki is famous in metal scene, Tamu has own YT channel with over 40 million combined views - she can play any genre) - Hazuki was in band Disqualia with Narumi and also is in the band Li-sa X band. Hazuki is areal shredder just like Saki.
** Disqualia - "right NOW" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/qGvi4geIZd0/v-deo.html (all female; band didn't last long. Still a banger of a song. Narumi is on lead g. Hazuki (yes, that Hazuki of Nemophila) is here as well. Ibuki is on vocals (she was lead v on Destrose after Marina left)

** Li-sa X band - "One More Chance is Enough" MV >>>> ua-cam.com/video/PzsqmnEa89c/v-deo.html (excellent pop/metal song; Li-sa is a child guitar prodigy; absolutely brilliant girl; she was in high school in the MV; Hazuki is her support member with Rina on vocals. Both guitars are 7-string guitars. I wish I can play like Li-sa. She graduated high school now.
Another metal song with piano intro is: Empty daydream, but the intro is from Rachmaninoff, always played by Miyako! If you want to hear something special, watch o react to "Spellbound" and you will many surprises!
Aldious. Live song: We Are. You'll thank me.
12:05 Was that a "Thank you God for blessing us with Lovebites"? Because that is how I feel now - we should all feel so privileged to hear this band in our lifetime.
Next LoveBites song: “Today is the Day” Live 🎸
Great reaction!. Next try Shadowmaker (Live in Tokyo 2021) for some insane guitar work and more of those great vocal holdouts!
They're called the Wagakki Band and they just celebrated their eighth year anniversary. Here's a link to "Overture + Amenochi Kanjouron," the opening track to their 2018 New Year's concert.

You want to see Miyako play two instruments at the same time check out Burden of Time in the live studio show and be amazed ua-cam.com/video/4OBf_Gn8efs/v-deo.html
This band blew me away too and now I can't stop listening to them instead of everything else in my collection. I mean, I do listen to other new bands and songs from time to time, and old bands and songs too, but every time I say to myself "Lovebites just sounds better".
Yes, the right word for them is "glorious". Yes, it's Miho who left. Announcement is supposed to be any day.
You may want to put on your list LIVE STUDIO OF / BURDEN OF TIME Miyako pulls off a guitar and keys same time....
Another great all female metal japanese band to check out is Aldious
Oh heck. Subbed. Dude👍👍👍
Angelina Jordan, Easy On Me.
🐺🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
You definitely should check the band called Asterism, they are 3 piece instrumental metal monsters. My personal suggestions are "Dawn" and "155"
Eventually, you're going to have to take a trip into Indian Metal with Bloodywood - Dana Dan.
composer is chopin|||
Once you have been bitten by Lovebites, you get addicted quickly.
You have to do Break the Wall next.
Miho Miho Miho!
the word mediocre or the expression ' passable ' does not exist in any song in LOVEBITES ' catalog. it must have been an agreed upon prerequisite by the members that every song be about perfect in every sense. every band i've ever listened to has at least one stinker or one song that does not resonate with me. i have yet to find that with LOVEBITES. the announcement for the new bassist hopefully will be any day now so they can get back to business. can't wait to see your future reactions to the best band on earth
Don't need to react all the songs....your reaction will be like this in all the songs....😊
