Beautiful work. When using precuts that have pinking shear ‘teeth’ on the edges, how do you measure? From the points to points?
Each precut is different, so I measure the precut fabric before I start sewing. But I usually find that my 1/4" seam will be measured from the "valleys" of the pinked edge, not the "peaks". Hope this makes sense! -Bethany

Are you able to use Pellon 809 Decor Bond interfacing?
That would be fine, I think. Obviously the bag would be much stiffer and a bit more difficult to turn inside out. Hope this helps! -Bethany

Bethany are you using a walking foot?
Hi Suzanne, I am sewing with the Dual Feed feature engaged on this Bernina 770. It servs the same function to a detachable walking foot, but is a permanent feature on this machine. Hope this helps! -Bethany
Can this bag be sewn without visible seams on the inside of bag?
Hi Darlene, The technique in this bag is similar to French seams, which have no raw fabric edges exposed in the inside of the bag. We did not right alternative finishing instructions. Hope this helps! -Bethany
