WOAH! THIS IS MY HOME CROSSING!!! I didn’t know that you actually came here to film haha. To this day, we’ve never actually heard a K5LLA like that at this crossing, so that’s so cool you were able to catch that on your first visit! This is the railroad crossing that I’ve been going for over a decade now to watch and later film trains at. A huge chunk of our videos are at this crossing. I love how it’s one of the very rare ones with fully equipped lights and crossbucks on the pedestrian crossing signals as well! Amazing video!!
Great video and crossing! Love the signals there, wouldn't mind filming that crossing myself if I ever happened to make it back up to Ohio. Nice to see the older gate arms there still, especially with the incandescent gate lights on the closer signal!

I’ve lived in Columbus since 1995 and never knew the Columbus Sub was considered “lightly traveled.” Isn’t that the mainline to Bellview? I would think it is very busy moving coal and intermodal from Portsmouth and Rickenbacker to all points North. Very much looking forward to your reply. Awesome video!
