Can you all talk about the natural gas wells in Mansfield? We decided not to purchase because a new home next to a natural gas well. More knowledge can help potential buyers new to Mansfield.
4th generation oil & gas business here... It's all about the mineral rights. And the average Metroplex home that actually generates a positive oil & gas cash flow only makes about 35 bucks a month... At the current price. But why are you afraid of a natural gas well? Because its certainly not going to explode... That would cost the operators a ton of money !!!
Are you able to add property tax into mortgages there? Also what is the tax rate in Mansfield? Thinking of relocating from CA. Thank you so much for the information.
Hey Amanda. Yes property tax and homeowners insurance are added into our mortgage payments. We've got a handful of clients that have moved from CA to our area. Here's info on tax rate www.mansfieldtexas.gov/281/Property-Tax-Information If we can help further, just shoot us a note here! mcgrawtx.com/email
I’m wanting to live here! I’m traveling from MS and used to light traffic and no freeways or interstates. How is it driving there, can I get around without touching interstates and freeways?
Thanks for the comment! Specifically in Mansfield, you definitely can get around without traveling on the highway. You can as well when traveling to adjacent cities like Grand Prairie, Arlington and/or Cedar Hill. But if you’re going to travel to different parts of the Metroplex, you’ll need to drive on the highway. Hope that helps and let us know if we can help any further! 🙂
@@livinginfortworth Thanks so much for this! I’m currently an art educator looking for an apartment in that area that’s affordable and not too expensive. Are you guys familiar with decent apartments in Mansfield or even Arlington that are safe and affordable for a single person income?
Agreed, many choke points trying to get out to 360. Not to mention toll roads and bumpy surface roads that *look* smooth. Such a pain every time I come.
Can you please tell me about the environmental concerns of living in Mansfield. I saw quite a few factories there that might be contributing to air and water pollution.
@@MJ-ef9bn LOL... Grand Prairie is low rent. Arlington is the worst meth dump in all of Texas. And Mansfield has a kick-ass rifle range range. Any more stupid questions?

What are your thoughts on Mansfield vs Keller?
Both are great. I’d say Keller has more traffic than Mansfield right now but there’s a lot to love about Keller.
I thought the governor of Texas lowered the property taxes this year, 2023.?
This video is from 2022 and the homestead exemption has been increased. Thanks
Oh goodness too many people from California wanting to come 😬.
