I’m enjoying all of your city spotlight videos! Do you have a video(s) that talk about the cost of home ownership in these areas (DFW, Frisco, Plano and associated suburbs)? I hear home insurance is higher than the national average in Texas. Does one need quarterly pest service? What is landscaping maintenance like for a typical suburban tract home? What is the ongoing cost to run electricity 24/7 in summer months? What costs are sometimes incurred from damaging weather events? Are these independent schools paid for by the govt (public) or tuition (free)?

Are average household incomes commiserate with the home prices?

What area of Fort Worth is safest? 😊

I appreciate the transparency about the crime & school ratings in Ft. Worth. It was on our list of places to move to initially, but we have since taken an interest in cities not so dense in population; Dallas included. Outer skirt cities of DFW are more appealing to us now.

it takes more than 45 mins every morning trying to get out of town to work. More than an hour to get home once you take 380 home or the back roads. We have the worst traffic in the metroplex. The also have so many students, that many students do not get to eat lunch because there is not enough time.

I would comment on how much I love Fort Worth, but maybe it’s best kept secret so we don’t turn into a crowded, expensive city like Austin😆

I lived in Arlington Texas 30 years and retired and moved back up North. No regrets at all. I do not miss Texas. The traffic is insane.

grand prairie the best place to buy drugs, sell drugs, racism, prostitution and crime is unbelievably high!! living there for more than 30 years we as business owners living in westchester finally sold everything to relocate. the city mayor ron jensen, city council, and cops all sleep together. don't live here and don't buy property here. they are nice to you at first then it goes down hill quick. no good city way too much drama!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I get that this video is meant to be a comparison between Plano and Frisco, and to be honest I don't know your viewership total but the narrative of the video seems as if you're putting Frisco on a pedestal and holding Plano to a lower standard. As someone who was raised in Plano I understand that it is not the perfect city. However this is just something to note when trying to get people to move to a new city. I did still enjoy the video and the effort that was put into the market research.

What is the smallest area you can go to and still have a decent daily commute to Dallas/irving/grand prairie?

You two seem like nice people. By way of background Ft Worth was very segregated and I can remember in the 60s when black people would have been afraid to go to Forest Park or the botanical gardens or Amon Carter musems or Cass Manana. The city has come a long way but it's still run by some Republicans that really don't want a lot of the riff raff that has piled in here. Gee when I arrived back here in early 1981 the population of Ft Worth was just under 400k. Now at 1 million... which is ok but I wish they could have been more prepared. More wider streets and freeways.

The traffic here in Rockwall is terrible. If I30 is backed up then more than likely so is SH66. There is constant construction on 30 as well.

Haha! I will be moving from Oklahoma and I'm sure the tornadoes aren't as bad as Oklahoma's. And, after living in Houston for six years (& loving it), I'm sure that the traffic and crime are also not as bad as Houston's. And, while Pastor Joel will always be my Pastor, you have some amazing ministries in Fort Worth--and it's a short drive to Potter's house in Dallas too❣️

Crime is high in fort worth

You have extreme heat from Jun through September. After that, you have pretty mild temperatures until June. You do get some heavy thunderstorms at times, but it's not all the time. You do get cold weather at times, but it usually doesn't last for more than 5 to 10 days at a time before going back up. Beautiful sunsets, I've lived here all of my life. And BTW, you might get hail 5 to 10 times a year, that's about it. And about the tornado's, I'm 54 and never seen a tornado live in my life, and I've lived here all of my life.

Fort Worth is so much better than Dallas. Dallas is home of the most pretentious fake rich people you’ll ever meet. Like they make 30k a year and act like millionaires lol. Foh! Fort Worth is more laid-back. People are friendly and more humble. And there is real money here. Dallas has nothing. They don’t even have the Cowboys anymore. It’s all property of Tarrant County now. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
