Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed in you guys with this one. To budding, low budget filmmakers out there, you basically just told them that they have to buy a ridiculously fancy light to have a chance of getting good looking shots. Maybe there was some good tips here, but it was impossible to see them through the blatant sponsorship.
Ya, I have to agree, this felt like I was tricked into watching a commercial.
I enjoyed the integration of both the light and the smoke ninja. Didn't take away from the concept of the video.
I felt the same but I ended up thinking it's creative as they are actually giving good lighting tips while advertising the product. Not need to be hard on them, we all need to make a living.
Nope. It's clear that it's a sponsored piece and a brilliant demonstration of how to share valuable lighting skills while introducing a new (and seemingly awesome) light. A masterclass in how to UA-cam. Well done Cinecom.
Nice advert
Please don't make commercials , people like me trust on you. These are not lighting techniques, these are the techniques which the particular light can do ,Show some respect to your viewers
20 ways to advertise this light
the shadow side is pretty usefull for people getting started. Its lighting for people working with what they've got.
is this an ad?
A thinly veiled one
I'm working on a video right now where I'm struggling with lighting, this is literally perfect timing😂😂
This is just easy money grab sponsor video, no passion about it
Spreading the sponsor content throughout the video is kindof an L move. Love you guys tho, would love to see more virtual production and vfx stuff but more detailed like some of your older content. Most of the content these days is very topical or about basic filmmaking tips which is a really saturated space on yt
I personally don't mind the "commercial" elements of this tutorial.
For me, there's still a lot to learn from this video and I think many of the techniques can be done with cheaper hardware.
That light looks like a potential new workhorse.
Also, I a bit bummed. Just bought a portable litte fogger from a competing brand. That ninja, I think I would have preferred that form factor.
I thought I am seeing double upload but hey happy Friday!
