No the cards just had no QC. They had faulty solders and other defects in first gen. These were caught eventually but a lot of first gen or founder cards still went out defective.

The case weights 4 times more and lays down flat. There is no more room in the HP case. Gaming on 4K @ 60Hz is dope. Gaming on 1080P @ 120Hz is also dope. (on a 65 inch TV in my living room). @@LlamaSpeeed it was not only new world though.
It was just new world was the ONLY demanding new release.
@@LlamaSpeeed a simple google search will show you the entire thing was caused by faulty chips and the gpu manufacturers replaced them.
In June, I plan to build a PC with similar specs to this one. The CPU and GPU are the same that I plan on using, but the RAM, motherboard and (maybe) the SSD are all different. Nice customer service, by the way.
I'd recommend you get a cheaper cpu and motherboard and spend that money on something like 3060ti if you can get one for a good price as there like 70% as good as a 2060
@@vrboi6920 Sorry if this makes me seem a bit stubborn. I'm getting a $170 motherboard with all the bells and whistles I need, and I have found some nice deals on some RTX 3070 GPUs (I found them just a few hours ago), but since I am building it in June, I will have to see if I have enough money to buy one, otherwise I will be sure to consider your suggestions. So, what are your suggestions? Thanks for the advice.
It doesn't really make you sound stubborn as you said yourself that it has what you need my main concern was the original gpu but you found a 3070 which is really good. All I'd say is get higher frequency ram e.g. 3200mhz to 3600mhz as ryzen loves fast memory but only if you have the leftover budget as its only a small difference.
@@vrboi6920 I will be getting 16 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz CL 16 dual channel RAM.
@LyingOstrich Then that's perfect and your pc is hopefully going to be really good.
The whole story of New world still makes me chuckle sometimes. While sure, there should have been something in place for the game's menu to not just max up FPS. That was a huge fault on Nvidia's part for not having some kind of Limiter, cap, Failsafe etc to stop the cards from working so hard they'd literally destroy themselves
You shouldn't put a motherboard on top of the anti-static bag. The outside of the bag is conductive, which is what makes the inside anti-static.
Uhhh is the CPU supposed to sit like that? Why is it not flushed can still kinda see the pins
Now that’s some serious customer service
Sometime ya just need to let the customer vent. You'd be surprised how nice and understanding some folk are once they had their word in.
As someone who recently had pc issues and had to fix it myself super stressful
Unfortunately, it comes with the territory!
Tbh I don't blame him if he's upset, having a very very very expensive gpu to break is honestly painful .
wasn't really nice of him. an apology was the bare minimum
Dude in the video forgot the thermal paste😂
I remember this.
The game would trigger something a manufacturer forgot about and would kill your card.
No the cards just had no QC. They had faulty solders and other defects in first gen. These were caught eventually but a lot of first gen or founder cards still went out defective.
@@rekrn12345 thank you for correcting me.
Was gonna make a video reminiscing this weirdness.
Almost a exact replica of my current setup. I can vouch for it being a great budget build.
How is no one talking about how that cpu is chilling in the socket like... half way out on the one side???
Great customer service and good on the customer for pulling their head out of their ass at the end of it all.
Can’t blame him shit isn’t cheap specially when you even say expensive from the start but at least he was understanding at the end
Great customer service man.
I own the same motherboard (micro ATX) with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core (with some oldskool Arctic Silver 5 grease), 32GB RAM, an MSI RTX 4070 Ti Ventus 2X and a 700W oldskool Antec PSU in a sleeper case (HP Prodesk 400 G3 micro tower). The case weights 4 times more and lays down flat. There is no more room in the HP case.
Gaming on 4K @ 60Hz is dope.
Gaming on 1080P @ 120Hz is also dope.
(on a 65 inch TV in my living room).
The CPU and GPU stay cool @ full load.
Max. temp CPU on hot days = 67°C
Max. temp GPU on hot days = 73°C
I'm happy with my pc 👍
I built this pc 3 years ago.
Man had a 2060 as a loaner card, I had a 460 💀
Damn these tall tales get taller every time
If you look closely at the CPu it's not even installed in the socket correctly lmaooo
Sometimes people get mad because they just don't understand the system.
it's nice that he excused himself afterwards
sometimes customers have a right to be angry.
there's still a line, looks like this guy didnt cross it and apologized!
good guy and company.
At least he apologized for his behaviour and im impressed with your customer service
no, thats not really nice of him. thats being decent to other human beings.
As someone who’s frustration comes at times it seems the person thinks it’s directed at them when it’s not. This person might’ve been upset that THEY sent you a faulty one, and then you put it in. It’s not your fault, he could be upset at them for wasting his (and your time) installing it, just to have to get a new one. One that stops him from playing the game he got it for
Bro new world fucked up so bad they even killed GPU's 💀
It's crazy how long an RMA takes for a replacement card. Loaner cards should bear requirement for the manufacturer to provide in the meantime
Above and beyond, this is why you support your local stores and not big box stores.
Does that cooler work with ryzen 7
I remember when Dirt Shodown caused my Windows to go Blue Screen. I had to format
Are gonna talk about how one of the hashtags is “#egirl” 💀💀
That guy sounds like a fully loaded weapon
Literally the build with the cpu gpu and mobo I’m going for😊
Personally, I gave up on desktop systems for gaming laptops. Even though their are not as powerful, they are sufficient enough for gaming
