The BMW M340i has a turbocharged 6 cylinder engine which it shares with other BMW such as the; the BMW m240i, the BMW 540i, the BMW m440I, The BMW x3 40i, The BMW x4 m40i, the BMW 740i and the BMW m140i. The BMW m340i is one of the top of the range small saloon cars just underneath the BMW m3. The BMW m340i is in a quite strange class of car being the performance "lite" cars which are still designed to be a performance car but are not the full performance car and designed as more of a daily driver, some of these types of cars from other brands are; the Mercedes a35 AMG, The Audi S5, The Audi S4, The Audi S3, The Mercedes C43 AMG and many more. Even though the BMW m340i is the fastest BMW or most Expensive BMW, it is still up there with the top 10 best sounding BMWs and the top 10 fastest BMWs.

IMO they sound perfect with a downpipe and the rest left OEM. I'm definitely biased though since that's how I run mine lol.
