This is fun to see them think through the problems. It seems to take Joppich a few hits to figure out how to control the distance in the way he needs to set up his parry-repost or a counter attack. Garozzo seems to figure out an answer for a while but in the end, Garozzo just keeps doing the same thing. The ENTIRE bout is fenced on Joppich's side. Joppich's 14th hit is pretty funny: all that fuss and back-and-forth and he gets it on what looks like a point-in-line.
Great video! I wonder if this match helped hone Garozzo's march-to-finish transition even more. A lot of this is "Garozzo pushes Joppich to the back line and then stuff happens". If you look at what height they both are at when the back line action happens, points tend to go Joppich's way when he's lower than Garozzo, and points go Garozzo's way when he's about the same height as Joppich. Joppich seems to be better positioned to control the distance/action and react when he's lower. Might explain why Garozzo's march has gotten lower with smaller actions by the back foot so he can drive through the finish with a bit more control than just reacting to the counter.
What if... what if... what if someone fenced like Garozzo on attack and Joppich on defence 😥😥
God, basically

Garozzo changed/improved his style after 2016. U can tell from his footsteps, different.
