@@gahrilla_1 I once listened to this while building a wood catapult for a physics project, it was even more accurate because my friend helping was a native American descendent and the other one helping was overweight.
I'd love for these old dudes to just be out playing a bar or something, completely unrecognizable, and then they play this song and all the young kids are suddenly freaking out with fandom
For those of you wondering what type of jaw harp he's playing, I'm 99% certain (after 3 hours of internet research) that it's a Szilagyi Black Fire Jaw Harp in the Key of C3 or C4.
This song reminds me of my friends, i got three friends that followed me over more than one decade Friendship is like a house, you have to care, make your part to build and maintain that home! Your safe heaven.
Last October, me and my gf of 8years bought our first house together, and while tearing it up, renovating, and fixing things all over the building, I played this song a lot.
This song reminds me of my grandpa Charlie who died 6 years ago when I was young. He built my moms childhood house in Kansas all by hand, thank you so much bringing back lots of good times and memories!
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved western films as well as music, especially legendary music like {The Magnificent Seven} or also {The Wild Bunch} and more. Thank you for this song which still delights me so much. A true spirit of freedom as well as fraternity; Together.
Never, and I mean NEVER, gave American country music a chance and always ridiculed it. Thanks to this game and its' soundtracks, I think I'm loving it :D
Other than David Ferguson and Matt Sweeney, I recognize Tim O’Brien on Banjo who is, as I understand, a prominent musician from the modern Appalachian folk music scene. If you jump into the rabbit-hole of his recordings as solo/band artist and guest artist, you cannot go wrong. For example “Sturgil Simpson - Cuttin’ Grass Volume 1&2”, where also David Ferguson is the producer. I also see they have a picture of John Hartford framed on their wall, another great rabbit-hole artist. For the soundtrack feeling, I recommend “O Brother, Where Art Thou? Soundtrack” and maybe even “The Straight Story soundtrack” by Angelo Badalamenti.
Im sure this isnt the first time its ever been done, but i've never seen someone sing lead and play a stand up bass during a performance. This song just ticks off all the boxes for me. I love the jaw harp, the old timey feel, the perfect goofyness of it. i need to hear more from this guy

I'm not a country fan, but if some popular country singer released this song in the 50s, it would have been probably number 1 for weeks
