Would it not be quicker and easier to just build a grass ladder up the side of the sandbox, wait until 15:00, get the key, then grab the recipe? No bombs, no shovels, no grub needed?

Thanks for the comment, you need the grubs to get the black ant shovel and you need to black ant shovel to dig up the key, hence the reason I called it the full easy guide, You're right you can just climb over but you'd still need the shovel.
