Well good news. They have confirmed their motor power. They have data sheets and videos. What you need to know is, for regulation reasons They are limited to 750/500w in all modes except level 7 offroad mode. In that mode you have full power of 1000/750w to your motors.
The good: build Quality on mine is great, solid frame, handsome bike, great torque for hills and gets up to speed pretty fast.
The bad: I cant get over 32mph on mine. Customer service literally sucks. Shipping took way longer than they said it would, they damaged my shipping label which caused shipping to take even longer, and as stated in the video the motors are not what was advertised on their website. Plus it does not go the advertised 38 to 42 mph. I think a lawsuit may happen for false advertisement if they dont provide actual proof of the motors. In conclusion, i do think its a good bike, especially because i bought it for 2 grand, but im torn because I hate suporting companies that lie to make a dollar. Just my 2 cents, take it for what it is.
I don't know why some people are still waiting on their bikes. But for me, I got my bike only a week after their projected delivery date. Which is pretty good, considering it was an indiegogo campaign, and the bikes weren't even in production when I bought it. As far as the top speed, I have gotten up to 38, but I don't know how 42 is even possible. And yeah, I am waiting to see what they do about the motor discrepancy.
Is this cadence pedal sensor or torque pedal sensor?

If you install some pegs, I think it would handle 2 people nicely.
Rear brake failure and I have no answer from Bandit about the parts I need.

Thanks! They are metal fenders. The motors are not bafang. I don't remember the manufacturer name off the top of my head. I'll try to find it.

I built an ebike with a 30 amp battery in the back rack and it is very top heavy. If you lean it while stopped, it wants to fall and is hard to hold up.

When is the range test coming? I’m very curious cause this would be the turning point if I end up purchasing this bike! 😊
I was trying to take a camping trip to do the range test, but haven't been able to yet. So I think I will have to test it over multiple days. I will get the video out as soon as I can.

While I have not tested the Emma, I really like my X-trail Pro. I like the dual motors, and the build quality is superb.
I will add, Bandit's customer service still needs improving.

How do I charge batteries in the frame or take out ?
@michalmisio64 You can charge the batteries while they are mounted to the bike, but you have to charge them individually unless you have two chargers. It does not actually charge through the frame.

I feel alot of the extra power is wasted, you'd have to put some power to one of the wheels just to overcome the added friction from the motor/gears, id rather have a standard front wheel and both battery's in parallel to extend the range, i mean when have you actually lost traction on the rear wheel
Where I go, and what I'm using this for, the dual motors definitely help. I go through the thick of it with my bikes. It's not that much extra weight for the power advantage. If I want extra range, all I have to do is turn off one motor and pedal a bit.
@@SFARCO Thats my point though, turning off one motor will ad alot more effort to overcome the motor/gears,
I also do alot of offroading and ive never felt the need to power both wheels, and ive ridden in some muddy stuff
@wolfe1970 but it doesn't add much resistance because it's a hub motor not a direct drive motor. And not only do I use it for off-roading but I also use it in heavy snow. I will use it to pull my ice fishing gear. So not everyone's needs or requirements are the same.
I wanted to buy one so bad, but I just can't buy an E bike that won't take big hills with throttle alone.
It needs to be able to take San Francisco Hills, that means flat ground is incredibly limited, everything is a hill almost, I just want a moped dial E bike that can take a hill fast, above 20 miles an hour at minimum, and I can put something on the back like groceries or whatever.
I haven't been able to find anything that will do that. All of that. I want something I can use to go tool around in, pick up some groceries, do an errand, and take hills while doing all of it without peddling if I desire.
I so badly want to figure out what I can get but I'm feeling defeated

@@SFARCO yeah I guess so, I just don't wanna deal with licensing and registration and all that. I've had gas powered scooters before, I've had a 250 cc scooter if you can believe that which was insane.

@lifestyles2482 I'm sure there is, but it's probably expensive and you might have to register it if it's that powerful. Depends on your local laws obviously.

After turning on the low beam, hold the + and menu buttons down at the same time.

where EXACTLY do you plug the battery charger into the bike? I see no charging hole anywhere, but I know it has to be somewhere.
There are ports directly on the batteries, both covered by a rubber cover. For the front battery, it's on the top where it is rounded. The rear has a smaller circular cover by the red on/off switch. It is on the underside if your battery is installed.
My bandit X trail pro it seems like the front motor sometimes stops working , I’d have to turn it off and back on but I get around 35 mph top speed I got was 43 down hill
That's odd. I would contact bandit about it. I've been seeing a lot of people saying they reach 42ish if going down hill. Lol.

No, it's technically 20ah and 19.2ah. But they told us the 15ah got upgraded. And it did, I checked.
Hello I received my xtrail pro as well and I realized my motors were 750 and 500 also and reached out to them about it and at first they said it must be a mistake and asked for proof so I sent photos proving so and the replied saying it's marked that way for regulators so I then asked for proof the nxt few days and they will not reply now smh

lol sad they chose to selectively rip people off. I ordered many weeks before others who already have their bikes. Like early July and they refuse to even talk to me. Just took my money and there is nothing I can do

I ordered opening day for pre-orders (June 10), accepted delivery October 9.
Ordering in July i would say you will see a November delivery date, which is what it currently says on their website. Yes the customer service communication is lacking.. I will say the bike is definitely worth the wait. Good luck!!

@riftraf No problem. I I've been able to get it up to 38. But only when both batteries are fully charged. I am a heavier Rider though.
not arguing but wouldn't it be AWD if it also had a mid motor ?
If it had a mid motor and a front motor, it would still be all-wheel drive, but if it only has a mid motor setup, then it only drives the rear wheel.

I don't know why you needed to contact them to order it. You just place your order through the website. The $2000 price was only an early bird special, it was going up at some point. But sucks you missed it, it was a great price.
