Hey Friend, thank you so much for watching ❤️
Elvis Presley the King of music...rock,,,blues,,,gospel,,,,country,,,,rythm and blues,,,the man os 1000 voices differents!
Elvis and his fans have a lifelong love
affair....
James Burton had the pink guitar just for Elvis . Pink is Elvis favorite color. He bought his first Cadillac in pink. He gave away more Cadillacs than anybody. He gave other stuff too. Motorcycles. He gave one to a teenager who was standing outside Graceland gates. His capes. His jewelry. They would wrap bandaids on his fingers so the fans couldn't. get them off his fingers. One time he told them not to wrap one of his fingers. They knew that he planned on giving away that ring. Worth around $30,000 at that time. It was for a child in a wheelchair. He gave because he loved to make other people happy.
Thanx for playing Steamroller blues!!!! When you have the time i would listen to : I just can't help believing. the one and only Elvis. Dont cry daddy is also a great song.
You’re so welcome, thank you for your request 💜
I’m a Steamroller baby, gonna roll right over you!!!! Yeah baby...
It is easy to see he enjoyed singing this song...
“❤️Elvis” !! Nobody but ELVIS.❤️
Hey Marilyn, thank you for your comment. #ElvisTakeover💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I would love to be the victim of
this steamroller guy ! 😍
And because he already has blown my mind, 💥
no Napalm bomb is needed!!!
Thanks to your two sweethearts
and enjoy his music that still
has to come! ❤👍
It was a special to raise money for cancer he raised three times as much as they were trying to raise
It was live via the first EVER satellite transmission worldwide broadcast and 1.7 Billion people tunes in to see the greatness!!!
It was a live telecast around the world. More people watched this concert than neal Armstrong Landing on the moon 🌓 🇬🇧🇱🇷💖
In fact it was , and still stands as a record on his own wich until now has not been broken , the first satellite show by a single artist performer ever. Way before Live Aid in 1981. Frank Sinatra btw tried to top this with his Main Event in MSG in 1974 but failed miserable in audience , reviews and ratings.
@@sanderfransen5479 There is no improving on the very BEST !! THE. K I N G Of ROCK and ROLL !!!!!!!!!!
Because Elvis's concert was for real
I would have paid my last pound it was from the first live concert broadcasted ever over 1.4 billion people watched it more than man's first moon landing boy could he perform Elvis was the man stay safe both 😷✌💕
Wow Do you know I did not know it don’t matter ... you too look absolutely amazing keep up the great work and god bless your Journey ... Everyone love Elvis Presley awesome video 🥰
Hey Mama Ray Ray thank you so much for watching 💜🥰
Only Elvis can sing steamroller blues and get away with it because he did steamroll over us all with sexy hotness
This concert was to benefit cancer. It was whatever you could afford
to donate and you got in.
This was 73 and the hope was $25,000.00 for the 2 concerts. They raised
$75,000.00.
More people watched this concert than the first moon landing on tv.
He was a bit more subdued for these performances but It was the first time
people around the world were seeing him. I think he concentrated more on
vocals than the dancing and usual silliness for this. He was pretty nervous
as this was the 1st time satellite around the world was done.
1.5 billion people watched around the world.
It's the only time its been done, nobody to this day can do it or try to do it, who is well known enough to do it or liked enough, oh and another thing nobody would want to do it. Xx
FYI money earned for this cancer fund of $75,000 in 1973 is equal $453,483 in 2020. Also assume the global population was a fraction of today, so that isn't even factored in to this amazing concert
I got to see Elvis 4 times in concert in my lifetime - once in Las Vegas, twice in Baton Rouge, LA and once in Mobile, AL.
Wow Kevin you are so blessed. God bless you💜😀
Wow, in the same room as the king !
Kevin Starr oh my goodness, I could only dream (& I did) of seeing Elvis live in concert. I was only 15 when he died and live in Australia but I was saving madly because there was talk that he was planning to tour Australia 💕💕
@@ShawnandMel4Life You 2 are the best in reacting to the GOAT ,,here is 1 you will really enjoy its a scene from 1 of his movies i forget the name of movie but the song is "Mean woman blues" make sure you do the 1 (full scene ) or you will miss out on the fun part lolololol,,,btw i just subscribed and tyvm

That concert was broadcast via satellite all over the world. 1.5 Billion people watched this concert.
Ya kept your eyes on Elvis all the way up until the last note . Made the smile you gave each other at the end Nice.😊
You’ll never find so many loyal fans for so long and we’ll be there for him forever more. Thanks guys for being genuine - that’s very important to us ✌️❤️
I'm glad to see you both having fun love your way.
Hey John, thank you so much for watching. We are having so much fun.
My parents had this on the tv back then and I was watching it with them as a 12 year old...it was telecast live for the first time across the globe via satellite.
James Burton bought
this pink guitar just
before the concert. He wanted to play it at the concert but was nervous about whether Elvis
would like it. Elvis
loved the guitar and
said of course he could play it.....
Elvis was a fabulous blues singer this is a electrifying performance he made this a hybrid song soul mixed with blues my favorite performance in the aloha special along with it's over great reaction have a great weekend 👍🏼👍🏼✋
Tried to see him for years and myblessed Mommy finally got us tickets. This was the first world wide satellite broadcast that ya'll just watched
EP was great at singing the blues!! Effortless !! That's the great James burton on guitar!! !!
Love jammin Elvis with the two of you 🥋😎
Hey Andrew, thank you so much💜
I got my dad's ahas with me because can't have funeral is here's i know so glad to have found your channel much love i feel it.
you guys are the BEST,,
First of all, you guys are too cute! Sean, the joy on your face when you watch Elvis is beautiful. Mel....I want to welcome you to the club. Women Lovin' Elvis since 1956. Passing the torch. I love seeing his legacy being kept alive this way. I was blessed to see Elvis in concert in 1974 and 1976 in Richmond Virginia. I was 13 and 16. Tickets were $7.00 for the 1974 show. In 1976 we got closer seats. They were $12.00. Lol! Can you imagine that? Keep putting out the great content.❤
First ever concert broadcast around the world via satellite over billion people watched more people watched this than the moon landing in 1969
The Aloha concert was the first concert to be on satellite around the world. Although Elvis only performed in the U S and a couple of times in Canada, he was known around the world. I am so glad I found these reaction videos, I grew up with Elvis. There are a few days you remember where you were when an event happened and the day Elvis died was one of them for me. There is a song from a movie "G.I. Blues" called "WOODEN HEART" , it is just sweet.
👋🏾much love Fam❤️
Much love to you too. Thank you so much for watching Tonya💜😀
fantastic concert.
I Loved this concert it was amazing
Wow Brenda, did you go?
I saw him live 3 times in my life time.
It marked the very first live concert broadcasted via satellite around the World at the same time. The 1st. No one else could have had enough fans, worldwide to make it worth the cost to do it. He also raised money for a charity for this and more than doubled the goal in one performance. Outstanding. ☺
Wow silvermain1, thank you so much for the information. Nobody in history did numbers like Elvis💜🥰
This 1973 aloha from hawahii concert was live by satellite across the whole world more people saw this live than the moon landing.
If you like the bluesy Elvis, react to "Reconsider Baby" or "Mess of Blues." Great songs. I don't know if a concert clip exists, but the songs are on UA-cam.
Great choices!!!!
Great songs . And "Stranger in my own home town" too !
I think it’s cute how you guys are in matching colors a lot of the time
Thank you so much💜🥰
It was a first of a kind, Aloha from hawaii live around the world satalite broadcast, it was a big deal and he was in fine form, hard to believe we lost him just 4 yrs later. 😢 My suggestion is a song called "Promise Land" I have not seen a live performance but a great song that's just high energy and I challenge ya to keep your toe from tapping while it's playing lol, m sure you would like it. Thanks again, loving all the Elvis tunes! ❤
Elvis having a LOT of fun with a James Taylor song. This was not a tour, but a weekend of shows for a live TV special. The first show was filmed for use in case anything went wrong with the live broadcast. This performance was from the last show of the weekend that was actually broadcast live, the first concert to be broadcast all over the world via satellite. This show was watched by 1.5 billion people...that's BILLION with a "B". Many people consider this show to be the absolute pinnacle of Elvis' career.
God! I miss you E!
Elvis has and always been my favorite singer/actor. Really never was starry eyed. I was probably 5 and my first memory of watching Elvis movies with my teen sisters. I remember saying I'm going to marry him. Lol! He was 27 years older than me, 6 years younger than my mother. So funny!
Cilla got him and they were the perfect couple! Beautiful couple!
I think they looked alike! Wish they would have stayed together! ♥️ELVIS !
Wow Brenda, thank you for sharing your memories beautiful memories with us. They really were the perfect couple💜💜
Exactly 1.5 billion saw this show. Way more than the moon landing
Wow Thomas this was the biggest show in the world
👑!!

Hey Bro, thank you so much for rocking and rolling with us AB. You are definitely loyal and we appreciate your support 💜🙏😀
First concert shown around the world 1 billion people watch that concert
Great performance
"Walk A Mile In My Shoes" the words seem to relate to his life Just listen to the words, "Where No One Stand Alone" the one you want to listen to is official music video With Lisa Singing Duet she was 9 years old when Elvis died. So now around 51 yrs she wanted to sing with father. I think this was heart warming. I love you n great reactions
You have already reacted to one of my requests, thank you so much. I am probably being greedy but I would love you to react to a few songs from his movies. My favourites are;

Oh a new Elvis reaction channel! Yes! There is a motley crew of us that migrate to Elvis reactions. I see you. I’m so glad you’re liking his songs. No one better. New subscriber here and catching up! 💜
Hy Kelly,
new subscriber here, too!
The motley Elvis crew members have to stick together!
Or in Elvis words: Yeah Baby! 😎
Same same Isn't it the worst when u wack on an Elvis clip & mates turn their attention away & miss the best Elvis bits? So it's nice to see reactionists watching an entire Elvis song. I'm sure most Elvis fans know where I'm coming from

That was a free concert. People donated whatever they wanted for charity (cancer). Two of my friends attended that concert. I was just a kid back then, but I wish I could have gone because I regret never having seen him in person.
'Just pertend ' next Please
Hey Lily, thank you for watching. We have so many request and we will definitely put it on the list💜
Thank youu...
Lol my sister hates this song but I think it’s sassy brilliant 🇬🇧👍🇱🇷
Hey Kenneth we love it💜😀
Elvis enjoyed performing this
song. . .its easy
to see....🎤🔥🎶
Written and originally recorded by James Taylor.
I can't stop Loving you live version from Elvis please
Hey Tricia, will do💜😀
Super 👍, I would love to see you guys listen to “Girl of my best friend” please
This. Was. Seen. Live. All. Over. The. World. At. One. Time. January. 1973.
Wow I wish I would have experienced that, thank you for your comment💜😀
This show was a one off Aloha from Hawaii show from 1973 and it was the first world wide show done by a performer via satellite... It was seen by over 1.5 billion people. Elvis' manager didn't want Elvis to do a world tour because he didn't want Elvis to leave the USA because it later came out that the Colonel ( the manager) was actually an illegal alien in the USA as he was originally from Holland and he was afraid that if he left the country to manage a tour he would be found out and not get back in so this satellite show was a compromise ... So that's the reason Elvis never performed outside America apart from 3 shows in Canada in 1957....the price of the tickets for the show was whatever u could afford because it was for a cancer charity.... They were supposed to raise $25000 but raised over $75000 ( about $500000 in todays money)... This was the actual show but they did do a filmed rehearsal show the day before in case something went wrong during the broadcast and u can tell the difference by the length of Elvis' hair because after the rehearsal show Elvis looked at it and felt he needed a hair cut..... Also Elvis throws the belt and after the final song, I Cant Help Falling In Love, his Cape into the audience...Nice gifts for someone
Another classic moment in the great Aloha From Hawaii. It was not part of a tour. but a one time benefit concert for charity. The biggest concert by any single artist. Elvis had the most talent and charisma and stage presence. Your reactions are entertaining. I enjoy watching your videos. You were right on in what you said. Oh btw , Happy Anniversary on UA-cam.
Hey Poetgb, thank you for being a huge part of the Elvis Takeover. We really appreciate all the information you’ve given us about the King 👑
@@ShawnandMel4Life You're welcome. I'm glad to help if I can. I've been an Elvis fan since the 1960's. Watched all his movies and have all his albums. Elvis was blessed by God with a super abundance of talent. Good to see you are discovering Elvis now. You are in for a fabulous musical journey.
1973 paid 20dollars to see this concert was a lot then but worth it he was fantqs
When I went to see elvis in the seventy .I think it was fifteen dollars. In the seventys
Wow Shirley😀🤩
Elvis made it affordable at the concerts, except in Vegas.
Omg i love this he looks so sexy Mel👍😜can i ask what are you both drinking? WE HAVE NOT HAD A GOOD DAY HERE IN ENGLAND TODAY👎SO YOU TWO ARE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR😁💃
Hey Jan, so sorry you’re not having a good day. We pray that tomorrow will be much better. He does look sexy 😜🥰👑 We are drinking an Elvis in Hawaii. A little drink I made up of Vodka and juice💜💜
Watching in Blyth Northumberland England! Sweet Rock n Roll!
He insisted on keeping his tickets very low so everyone can get in…heard sometimes only $5 which is mind blowing . No other artist would think of doing that
It think the highest his tickets were was 25 dollars. His manager wanted to raise the price and Elvis told him NO, because he said he didn't want just rich people to see his shows because the people got him where he was were mostly poor people. That was one of the very few times he stood up to Col. Parker.
But it wasn't once for me i told that POS how much i hated him every time i saw his sorry A$$ he didn't care about Elvis only about the money. Elvis last concert was forced he told Tom no but Tom wasn't taking no for an answer. Elvis didn't want anyone to see him like that but Parker didn't listen, he was so ill he could hardly stand or hold a microphone one of his people had to hold the microphone for him because he couldn't it was heart breaking to watch.
Elvis lm a steam roller baby lm going to roll all over u great u guys are awesome loue this sexy elvis ❤️love him forever ❤️ best singer ever Shawn Mel 👍 tks for this love u guys ❤️ 🎶 🎶🎶🎤🎸🎵👑🇬🇧♥️
Hey Barb, thank you so much for watching. We absolutely love the King 👑 #ElvisTakeover
That was the concert that was broadcast around the world by satalite. It had never been done before, so that was anothrr thing he was First on!
Hi guys just another great day with your selections fantastic 2 songs I’m surprised that our subscribers have not yet mentioned JUST PRETEND from Las Vegas 1970 if you guys wanna hear a song that’s so powerful I promise you that is it it will be played on my funeral day when I die already made that clear so guys I’m asking you to play Just pretend okay and you will be omg vinny that was incredible thank you so much your friend vinny from Boston
Hey Vincent, thank you so much for watching and thank you for your request. We will add it to our list💜💜💜💜
Hey guys hope I’m not bothering you with requests the reason why I asked for let us pray I just thought the way the world is going today that we needed a song like that but that’s okay but just pretend is a song that Elvis fans recommend as one the the best songs of his collection you guys will really love it I can promise you that thank you Shawn and mell appreciate you guys very much vinny from boston
It was the first live concert via satellite. I was shown all over the world. It was also a fundraiser. Elvis did not receive any pay. He did it first...
Hey Barbara, thank you so much for your comment
Check out Mystery Train /Tiger Man. The best version, in my opinion, is from 1970 in Vegas!
Hey RGee 805, will do💜
Please react to Elvis Presley sing Never fall in love again. I seen you reacted to Tom Jones now you need to listen to Elvis sing it.
Yes concert was in 1973 via satellite when all over the world 1.5 billion people watch this concert it was a cancer bond which they wanted to rate $25,000 but this special fund and they raised $75,000 the tickets for $1,000 a piece Elvis bought his own ticket all right there two versions of this there is August 12th 1973 rehearsal version reversion and then August 14th 1973 via satellite all over the world now actually the rehearsal version on August 12th is the better of the two I guess Elvis was kind of nervous knowing that 1.5 billion people all over the world would be watching him account gets hair differently in the second one come get back with like a little with a point but in the rehearsal version his hair is coming from frontwards and he doesn't have any l e i the flowers you wear around your neck on friendly rehearsal version if you could find it for me I would like you to play what now my love it is a beautiful song where Elvis starts out slow and ends up with the highest notes possible the Elvis kissing a little base Elvis got here hit the set on a vacation he was known as a baritone singer by the seventies and had that deep raspy voice you need to do I Can't Help Believing and I've lost you from the Tiger shows 1970 just a couple donuts off of the top of my head but I can come up with a lot more if made it before June is out the one called pieces of my life he starts out by talking about a glass of whiskey which Elvis was not a drinker he would drink on occasion like a toast or something at the rest of the song fencing like he wrote it himself he wanted to write a book called through my eyes according to one of his girlfriends but never got the chance I wish they could have wrote that book and maybe we would have knew a little bit more why Elvis was so sad the last couple years of his life he could still feel a colosseum and sing not all his songs for setter a lot of them were and I'll always believe it was the split between him and Priscilla hey Kaos Junkie send Elvis Junkie I hate this microphone but it's the best I can do at my age
Think about there was, 1.5 Billion people who watched this in 1973 first time ever went on satilight when there was 4 billion people in the world at that time. Not even the landing on the moon got this number think about that.
ok guys please understand Im about to provide with you some Amazing tunes from Elvis (Because I know its Elvis takeover month lol)...If you can give a shout out to me Michael cool... Please take these recommendations to heart because Im about to provide you with some real good stuff from Elvis..."Kentucky Rain" one of Elvis best..."Its Now or Never" one of his best...".."The Wonder of You"...one of his best..."Dont Be Cruel"...one of his best...Now these next few came from the 1973 Aloha concert just remember all the rest of these are versions from the Aloha From Hawaii Concert 1973 so make sure you pull op these versions of those following songs from that concert ...And they are all amazing..."What now my Love", "C C Rider", "Something", "Love Me", "Welcome To My World", "Ill Remember You", "Cant Help Falling In Love"... All you have to say is a shout out to "Michael" for one of these. Its so cool you guys dig Elvis because there will never be anyone quite like him. Right? He seemed like a really great person that God put on this planet for 42 years and his talent and personality is hard to explain right?
Wow Chris, thank you so much. We really appreciate you💜🥰
Hi guys...........you should check out some of his gospel songs.......he does a great live version of "how great though art"
Hey Karl, thank you so much for watching. We will definitely put that one on the list💜🙏
Hi could you please listen and comment on Elvis Presley"fever"
Last concert I went to in1977 cost 15.00.
God bless U! Have a good weekend☺️ please check “james brown - love me tender” it was one of my favourite songs by my grandfather. Thanks!
Hey Augusto, thank you so much for watching. God bless you too💜
Probably free show all they had to do is donate money and food they released in 1973 remember 1973 $75,000 for a benefit and the dog was 25000 and only a billion and a half washed it in one night I believe it was the dirtiest clean song I ever heard it my life leave nothing to the imagination but a cigarette at the end thank you for playing this song
Please react to Elvis singing "Trying to Get to You" from his 1968 comeback concert -- the one the women like where he's dressed in black leather.
Hey Cris, we did this reaction 💜
@@ShawnandMel4Life Just checked it out. Love your reactions!
The conjured you are reacting to what is January 14th 1973 at 10 p.m. it was also is via satellite conjured seen by 1 billion 500 million people around the world Elvis Presley was the first and only single performer in history to ever do a via satellite concert in 1973 how I know this because I was 14 years old when this was televised live from Honolulu Hawaii Elvis Presley has recorded more than 795 songs in his career and to this date still the highest selling artist of all time last year he sold 1 billion records worldwide but Elvis Presley's career started on July 5th 1954 the song That's Alright Mama and the year before that in August of 1953 Elvis Presley recorded a double-sided acetate where is mother's birthday my happiness and that's when your heartaches begin he was 18 years old so if anybody out there who wants to know anyting about Elvis Presley then I'm the man you talk to because I know more about Elvis Presley then I know about myself
Elvis did that show for cancer charity and he gave all the money to the charity organization.
Wowww👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
oh, no no no no and no. all due respect to elvis, but this song is out classed by james taylor,. there is a video version on utube ,however ,you absolutely MUST check out the version on JT- greatest hits!
Shawn and mail who is your favorite entertainer of all time although I like lots of singers and I was teenager in the 50s and adult in the 60s I got to hear a lot of really good songs that you don't hear anymore music it's not like it used to be to me maybe that was because I was young then and enjoyed all are the tops at that time I would like to know who's your favorite all-time singer it doesn't have to be Elvis just curious AKA Elvis Junkie
I thought it was MJ but after watching and learning about Elvis it’s definitely Elvis💜🤩
I can't tell if you two enjoy Elvis or trying to get views. Elvis might be a joke to you.
How can you say that about Elvis. You can’t be a real fan if you don’t know that everyone loves Elvis
We can get views reacting to other artists. We chose Elvis💜💜💜
