When I was a lot younger it was my dream to have a world in pvz 2 themed around the industrial revolution The closest thing I got to living that dream was the half assed world that was released exclusively to the chinese version long after my interest for pvz 2 had died out But thanks to people like you who can capture the golden-ish era of pvz 2 so well I can finally have that dream live to its fullest potential
I like how the reward theme has a sense of patheticness until other reward themes! Really sells the idea of this being a labor filled oppressive world in need of help that even surviving a zombie attack and getting a reward means nothing to the powerful machine of the steam ages
I really love the use of mechanical steam train noises and bells as a main part of the instrumentation of these tracks, it's such a fitting inclusion that makes them really stand out.
Eclise is more of a hardmode than anything, and Reflourished is a re-balanced PvZ 2 with A LOT of new content, and I personally prefer Reflourished, as it's (personally) more fun because it keeps the charm of PvZ 2 and improves it rather than just making PvZ 2 a similar game to PvZ 1 and also a lot harder.
Eclise is just an overrated mod that got popular by one video that went extremely viral. I know that because I myself didnt even know about pvz2 modding until I saw said viral videos.

Woa Mid-Wave B is surely my favorite track of the bunch. I feel like it really describes the sadness of the repetitive labor, especially with the long notes in the beginning of the track. Really cool ost
Unlike the chinese fan adaptations this gives the industrial vibe which is needed to truly dive into the atmosphere of the world which something in which Peter did amazing job I cant wait reflourished to be ready

I really love how the soundtrack greatly supprasses the OG Chinese version with the usage of metallic noises, vapor sirens and piston levers and bells from trains, really gives in to the atmosphere, I really loved the UB and DMG themes in-game and I really hope to see it on UA-cam soon. Reflourished really brought so many childhood memories back to a golden age and more

The original Chinese music is calm too, but with a slightly sad feeling, which this does not. Here you can sense both the serenity of the quiet city corners by the Thames and the ferocious industry in Victorian London.
We visit the time, no reason to the music to have that calm feeling or have sound like 19's old image, that makes sense when you hear more sounds about labor or coal
I really love the music, and it really feels like that kind of music you'd hear in a Industrial Revolution themed movie in which the protagonist is your average worker living his life and going through the problems of that era

I love what they did to this world. Rather then having an unnecessarily complex and badly thought out idea it simplified the manholes into a simpl but unique obstacle give this world a whole new vibe without needing one off plants that only work for the manhole mechanic.

Steam Ages has always been one of my favourite themes in the series, so it getting the proper world treatment is great
Eclise got all the attention all this time, and we never truly realized the masterpiece being worked on behind the curtain. Well done.
