But u are describing the PG course application submission process.
Sir did phd students have to show their bank statement as they were paid from universities and getting scholarships did they still have to show bank statement?

No..you should have residence permit card to go to Sweden.

Hi Zuber, I hope you are referring to stay back period after masters..Yes..you need to show bank statements for 12 months..

As per my understanding i need to submit bank statement for during my two years study program as well, if so do let me know the tenure for which i need to have the bank statement prior to the date of my visa application.
Initially, Show it for one year. And then while you are extending..show funds for the second year. Watch this video.

Hir Sir, I am planning for study spring intake , basically I missed to apply autumn intake due to late result of degree. My question is as I HV degree mechanical engineering now looking master same field.

Hi Pinku, Mechanical Engineering is a common and important Engineering field. All specialization have equal importance. You may look for Energy related subjects like Renewable Energy, Industrial Engineering, FEM analysis could be interesting. However, it should also depends on what you like the most.

for residence permit we need to show 8514 SEK/month but I am getting scholarship of 5000 SEK/month. so to apply for residence permit, in bank statement whether I have to show 3514 SEK/month or 8514 SEK/ month???
