I just leave the weeds in and let them break down. As the tea gets used up, more weeds and rainwater are added to top it up. It gets stronger over time.
This is a very easy to understand well done video. When you said it could kill my plants, made me decide to try it out first on a patch of weeds not on my plants!
Lol i just use all vegetable water thats been steamed and boiled. Like kale, carrots, beats and all diff kinds. I let it.sit in a cool space for a good week or 2, give it a light swirl. It actually works.
Thanks that was very informative. I like the use of the bucket with tap, makes the whole process easier. Also I’ve stuck my hand in weed tea before to remove something and I couldn’t get rid of the stink for a while despite washing hands endlessly. Use old washing up gloves 👃!
Any green organic matter works -- all plants have essential nutrients. Even weeds with seeds -- after soaking for a while, the seeds become inactive, so you can add all the hard matter to your compost after you've strained your tea.
Might kill? So where should we test this and how many days should it take to know? Definitely not going to test on my garden cause I don’t have replacement plants….
@@pamelag7553 lol I meant air stones. Yes a fist tank air pump with the stone to aerate the water. If the solution has no air the water will become stagnat and that can promote a bad micro biome
I will let you know, I brew some tree leafs , since we had a wind day , I wanna see what happens to my plant , since leaf are fresh . Tree gets more vitiems from bottom dirt untouched by man . That means a lot more minerals.
Not trying to be argumentative but why do you care about seeds in your weed tea? Won't the water kill the seeds? I was hoping to see how you strained your tea?

I am from Malaysia. I really like your video and going to try in my small farm.

Great video mate! That answered all my questions. Thank you!
Very good informative video.

Informasi ini bermanfaat sekali bagi petani yang menanam pohon padi organik yang ingin sukses
Great information. Where can we purchase the bucket?
Good Vid! I guess we can press down the weeds before adding water but can we make organic pesticides this way as well with rosemary/lavendar?

Is aerating a good thing?

What if some kind of insect gets inside th weed tea? They are swimming around inside, i don't kn9w what they are. Is it still safe to use?
What kind of bucket is that !?
It will help a lot with the smell if you put aquariums air stones in the buckets.
What is that, like an air pump?

What do you do with the weeds after using the tea?
I would say add them to your compost
Use as mulch in the field or grow bag
Smoke them
so you can use leaves that fell from the trees to make weed tea?

I cannot find a single video where anyone who makes this 'tea' has it tested to determine its NPK.
