Where did you get this recording? I looked at the Mumford & Sons website, looking Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, UA-cam, etc.. I even contacted the official Mumford & Sons Twitter account and have not received any answer in a week now. I'd like to buy this song, but can't find it anywhere but here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. #Mumford&Sons @MumfordAndSons
MAY I SUGEST PLEASE PLAY THE BEGINNING USING MORE INSTRUMENTS THEN THE REST YOU CAN ADD GUITAR DISTORTION ALONG VIOLIN YOU GUYS ARE GOOD THANKS YOUR EFFORT GOD BLESS YOU ALL
I do like some of their stuff, but this is awful. the whole point of the song is the poignant "if I needed you" a lovely pathos about love , desperation or whatever, not a free for all build up to a crescendo through quiet loud quiet loud, which seems to be a sort of formulaic songwriting technique.Check out Lyall Lovett's beautifully measured and sympathetic rendition of what the song is about. The Steve Earle raw live version with Emmmy Lou Harris ann;t bad either!
I actually love this version, and it is the only version that makes me cry. Townes's version, Emmy Lou w/ Steve Earle's and Lyall Lovett's versions are all boring to me.
At least they're maturing - choosing one of Townes' songs is proof of that enough. Give 'em time - they'll be somebody, some day. I adore what The Be Good Tanyas did with "Waitin' around to die".
Marcus knows a great song written by a great man gone too soon, RIP Townes Van Zandt.
Beautiful! Makes my heart sing.
Tears everywhere. These guys are everything right with music
Very good cover of this classic...
So beautiful!! His voice is just perfection. They can do anything!!
Guilty of liking everything they do...!!
Another Townes Van Zandt masterpiece.
Holy Smokes

Broken Circle Breakdown scene when they sing this is ten times better.
They don't get the OSCAR ... Very good road-movie ♥

This is a pretty good cover of this song. Dashboard confessional honestly did a better cover
Yeah, somehow I feel like they are off the mark with this cover; it's a bit too upbeat and swinging.
you want upbeat check out the cover by doc watson

Yes, it makes me want to weep, too.
