I have been wanting to do a video like this one for a long time. Two of the most popular Duncan PAF sets back to back with a few similar licks.
Everything on the amp, recording equipment and software stays exactly the same. I kept the height and pole pieces of the pickups even to the best of my ability. I tried to eliminate all variables other than the pickups themselves. I hope you enjoy this video and it is useful for you.
Cheers!

My Antiquities in my LP are never coming out. They are the best sounding humbuckers I have ever played through. I actually didn't like humbucker equipped guitars until I threw a set in my LP. Now it's one of my favorite guitars to play. Just love the overtones, "woodiness", and articulation I get with those pickups.
I just threw a set of antiquities in my Les Paul too, and they're never coming out either, exactly the tone I was going for, and the tone I had in my head when I was searching for "that sound". Good call - the articulation and response are second to none. One of my smartest purchases!
Both of them are excellent, boils down to personal taste, can't go wrong with either one of them.
GREAT, GREAT DEMO !
Thank you very much.
Your video made me realize (again) that i got the right pick up set (Seth Lover) to go into my PRS SE Santana !
Cannot wait to hear the transformation from stock thin sounding stock SE units to the the Seth Lovers.
Thank you for the kind words my friend. That’s what it is all about! Feel free to subscribe if you haven’t already.
I got a PRS SE and I was really surprised how much I disliked the pickups, I still have the original neck pup in mine but it will be replaced soon.
I don’t know what the SE guitars come with but I hope you find a great set to fit your axe! Hope you subscribe and check out the many i have showcased!
Great show of comparison! I gotta go with the Antiquities myself. They just sounded "fuller" to me in the headphones. There's that heavier riffs I was mentioning. Again, great show of difference. 😎🤘
Thanks for hanging out!
What an outstanding demo. Thanks for putting in the time to do this, it helped me and will help others on a similar tone quest. I think I liked the SL better? But I’m more confident every day that I really want a P90 neck to pair with whatever bridge pup I choose. Thanks again!
Thanks for chiming in and the kind words! Hope you enjoy the other videos as well!
Thank you,Great Comparison demo. Both sounds wonderful.
Thanks for watching my friend!
Thanks so much for this great video !!........You got me hooked on the Seth !
I love some seth lovers! Hope you subscribe!
Bottom line is, you can't go wrong with either one however, the Ants sounded more chimney and sensitive.
You’re right! And even if one could go wrong, they’d probably change their mind in less than a year anyway! 😀🍻
Man that's a tough one. I really dig both sets. I have Pearly Gates set in my LP Traditional and they're awesome too. I get bored and like trying different pickups for no reason other than just trying different things so I'm considering other sets, but everytime I pick up my LP I start having doubts about swapping lol. It's the only guitar I have that I've left alone after the first change. I really didn't like the stock Burstbuckers at all. Great video, gonna check out your others.
Hey man, thanks for chiming in! Hope you enjoy all the pickup vids and subscribe. Lots of great options out there. I love some PGs. The best part about pickups is that they can go back in just as easy as they come out! 😉 cheers brother!
Cool video of these 2 pickups man! I dig stuff like this. It's eye-opening. 😉
The antiquities remind me of my days living in Stockholm while the seths remind me of my younger days in Gothenburg.
Haha every set is a winner!
I am looking to replace my Lead pickup in 81 LP Custom and I really like how these SD Antiquity Pickups sound.
Awesome!
Great review. Also, you have great taste in gear.
Cheers and thank you!
Love the Seth Lovers neck in my tele but in a Les Paul I would definitely go with the Antiquities.
The Antìquities are ny fiirst set of unpotted pickups and they sound really different. There is a clicking 'pick attack' sound that took getting used to but its cool vintage sounding after I got used to it. But what I dont understand is how when i pick at a certain angle on the D and B strings especially higher up the neck, I get this 'quacky' stratty effect, almost as if im pinching a harmonic but not quite cos the clicking blends in with that tone and together it all sounds quacky. Am I hearing things?😅
Listening through a Dragonfly USB DAC and Sennheiser HD600 headphones makes this an easy call. Glad I sprung the extra $35 for the Antiquity - my 52RI Telecaster will benefit from the warmer, richer, more complex tone more in line with that fantastic powerful Tele bridge tone. FWIW I like the Fender CS Nocaster or Seymour's Jerry Donahue for the bridge. A lot of folks like the Broadcaster Tele bridge PU, too.
What is your favorite humbucker ?? I rock a set of 59s and a set seth lovers. Great video
Man you've done some fantastic video's! after playing all those boutique PAF's whats your opinion of the Seth Lovers? Thinking about getting them as my first set of PAF's
Hi there! Sorry for the late reply. The Seth’s were my first set as well. I think they are an absolutely fine choice of you are just starting to dip your feet in the PAF world. Think about pairing them with some 50s wiring too (if its a gibson) Since you gotta open it up anyway! :) cheers and hope you subscribe!
Visual Guy did you use reverse audio taper in the volume pots? Crucial. Linear at worst. 50s wiring is best thing ever. :)
I use RS guitarworks superpots. Custom taper.
Seth lovers for me! Thanks
Right on! Thanks for tuning in!
Nice comparison and thanks for putting in the work. I have both sets. My Seths are 20 years old now! I do prefer the Antiquities though because they are more articulate with a more complex harmonic content.
One thing a video does not convey is how they respond to touch. The Ants have a sharper, faster attack followed by a bloomy compressed envelope whereas the Seths' attack is more velvety and warmer, yet more powerful, perhaps due to the stronger magnets, with a less compressed decay.
+pgong thanks for tuning in. You are right, too. This is my first pickup compare in one video. I’ll definitely keep that in mind next time I do this, and try to show the differences in attack. Hope you hangout. I have a lot of pup videos in the works and other gear things! Cheers!
pgong I just uploaded a Lust For Tone video that I made sure to show about attack, and response to touch. I just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion, and I’ll be doing all my videos with a clip that shows the amp cranked with various levels of pick attack. It really made the video better and I thank you for the suggestion/critique! Cheers!
So which set do you personally prefer?
Visual Guy the great thing about some of Duncan's alnico 2 pickups like the ants and the salsh set is that in the attack they start off tracking like an alnico 5 based pickup or a single coil but then bloom in to that alnico 2 humbucker finish. it's hard to get both of those attributes in an alnico e based humbucker but duncan nails it. it's said alnico 2 based pickups are his passion and it shows. so much more refined then gibsons alnico 2 pickups not that gibsons a2 pickups are bad there just not quite as articulate .
I couldn’t agree more. Although, I have played a few sets that have amazing Attack. I think that’s a challenge any good winder tried to accomplish. And it has to be tested on many different amps and settings to see. Thanks for the input.
Would like to see how they compare with different volume and tone settings too
The volume settings are just woth the guitar turned down. So I gave ya that. But I don’t have these anymore to
Do another video, unfortunately. But I will be comparing lots of modes soon. Hope you subscribe for the fun! Cheers!
Have you tried arcane triple clones or 57 experience,? Just wondering how they compare to antiquity etc
Never tried either. Hope to one day!
Antiquities all the way
Awesome!!!
Looking for pickups to mellow a very bright 335 currently with a p94 neck and MHSII bridge. Seth Lovers seem like they’ll add some warm mellow. Formerly had Lollar Low Wind Imperials and Lollartrons, all the wrong direction tonally for my particular es (though may work for others). Otherwise for LPs OX4 wins the day, every time.
Great choices!!! Let me know!
Seth lovers for me, more complete and responsive thanks for the demo
Cheers i hope you the others!
I was disturb with the tremolo effect of the Seft but in fact in the whole test Antiquity is wider in the scale of possibilities.
Seft are likes having Texas Special in a Strat very colored styliched
I personally like the Seth lover better . I also have a Seth lover in my tele
bleufishtv Nice man. The SLs are great pickups. I never put one in my tele but the PAF chime would definitely have complimented that guitar. Thanks for tuning in! There are lots more PAFs to come. Stay tuned!
Imo, the perfect setup would be antiquity bridge, seth lover neck. My antiquity neck gets too muddy and bassy, I have to EQ the amp just for it...
Have you tried adjusting the pole pieces and lowering the pickup to add brightness? Thanks for the input, hope you subscribe!
I agree with this assessment. Antiquity bridge, Seth Lover neck.
Cheers!
Replace the magnet in your antiquity neck with a full strength A2 magnet. Problem solved!
I’d go with a degaussed A5 if I were trying to solve muddiness.
The antiquities sound like a pair of seths real nice and broken in.
Haha. If you mean weaker magnets, then yea. They are. 😉
+Visual Guy Yes but also, the sonic edges are rounded off. They are not as stiff and immediate.
I believe that is literally what they are.
These puppy are amazing! Hoever while I prefer the neck Antiquity in the Bridge I need more of those compelling Gibby Classic 57 Plus mids or I jus ain't happy! and the combination is off the charts, and thru a Marshall nothing can touch them for that magical classic LP tone IMO! Except for when ya want that 59 LP blues vibe then ya gotta have a Duncan sh1 59 in the neck of yer missing out!
I've had them all!
@@VisualGuy Of course you have!
So what are your favorite.. the Seth Lovers, the Antiquities or the Fralin PAFs?
+Mark Hey Mark. I’d take the Fralin out of those three. They all are great in their own right. Fralins (to my ear) probably have just a little “more” of everything good. And they have better resale! Haha
The Duncans aren't as open as they should be for a PAF replica. The Antiquities are probably the best of them, but you can get much better PAF replicas elsewhere. Personally, I'm between Creamery 59s in Alnico II or IV, Lollar Imperials or Fralin's Pure PAFs.
anitiquity for me all days
Thanks for watching.
What are the tone pots set at? Are the Seth Lovers that thick-to-muddy at 10, or was the tone scaled back a bit?
They aren’t muddy. They are just bolder than the Ants bc of the stronger magnet. Lower them and raise the poles for less or more. Tone pots were likely set at 10 for neck and 7 for bridge on both but I filmed this years ago and have no memory of that for sure. Just guessing based on my normal approach
Used this comparison to choose which pickups to put in my Sheraton picked Seth lovers my Sheraton had good tone but now it sings had will be putting them in an Epiphone LesPaul
Awesome man. Thanks! Hope you subscribe. Enjoy!
Seth Lover. Best humbucker ever ! Got it right the first time !
Hope you subscribe to the channel, brother!
I've got a triple humbucker warmoth tele I built with a JB in the bridge. I've got a spare set of Seth Lovers laying about and I'm soooooo tempted to put them in the neck and middle position for that SG Custom vibe 🤔
Do it!!!!
@@VisualGuy Forget that, I'm gonna put them into my 2015 Firebird Non Reverse now after hearing how they sound in your videos and how PAFs sound in a Firebird in Matthew Scott's videos🤣
DO IT! Tryem in everything!!!
Well the antiquities are definitely a bit more open sounding.
That's exactly how I heard it. I definitely prefer the Antiquities in this video.
Gord Basa thanks for chiming in! Hope you subscribe. I have demos of the ants up against tons 10 other big sets
I don’t know which pickups sounded better but I do know that the amp sounded great.
Thanks!
Visual guy would like to see you demo the Dimarizo 59 PAF
Let me see what I can do when I finish what I have coming out soon! Cheers!
I'm building out an es335 kit. So torn between these pickups.
I vote you look at the Righteous Sound PAT 64! :) but I’d probably go with Antiquities between these two because they are slightly brighter and the semi hollow will have a woody tone, naturally.
Seth's for modern rock, Antiquity pups for classic rock in my opinion. Funny story, bought a $300 used Tempest from Guitar Center, showed up with Antiquity pups in it and MJ's initials on the back. Score!
KILLER score!!!!!
Pretty much the difference between aged/degaussed Alnico II magnets (Antiquities) and new magnets (Seths), since the pickup builds are so similar.
Cool video! I subbed :) Found the antiquity buckers much better imho ;) Love me some pafs :)
+Max Carton thanks for tuning in man! Much to come!
Visual Guy No problem! I love Gibson, paf's and old Marshall Plexi's! I've got a 1987x Marshall reissue that I love. And I like the dimarzio paf :) I've got one in my 61ri SG! Cheers mate
Cheers brother! We will have some good convo! Thanks for tuning in! I will be doing a before and after RS upgrade in the SG tonight!
Visual Guy Great! I would love to do a collab of some kind with you some day!
+Max Carton i could get behind that!
Thanks for demo. I like both sets. I have the SH55 in a ES clone that please me so much. As I listen to the comparison, may be the Antiquities will more suit a Les Paul like in this demo
Overall it is a matter of taste. 👍
Thanks for the kind words. Indeed it is definitely about taste, and the rest of the ingredients. My JTMs and bass heads like the antiquities and make the Seth’s sound warmer. But for a brighter amp, that changes. Nothing definitive buts it’s nice to have things compared equally. Cheers!
You have tested many humbuckers. Do you have a desert island favorite?
Sorry to be boring but not really. If I was on a desert island, I’d probably just worry about getting rescued and not play guitar! 😂😂😂
In all seriousness, I have dug them all for diff reasons. Different ones shine in diff guitars. I’ll take any of the A2 sets and adjust to taste!
Nice video. Have you tried the Seth lovers in the SG? I've got a set of 57 classics in my 17 standard and not over keen. I have been thinking about getting the Seth lovers for it. Got the vintage rs kit for it as well but not fitted it yet.
+Rich Quinnuk thanks man! I haven’t put a set of Seth’s in the SG, yet. I am doing the vintage RS kit upgrade, before and after video tonight, and then I am gonna throw the Seth’s in for a reference. I’d say they are gonna be pretty good, but I think I am gonna dig a hotter bridge than the Seth. We are gonna do several demos in the SG so stay tuned! Get that RS kit in soon man. It’s next level!!!
Visual Guy I'll keep an eye out, cheers! I ordered it weeks ago and it's finally coming tomorrow. Ordered 2 sets for my les Pauls as well. Heard good things about them
+Rich Quinnuk 2 sets of which, brother?
Visual Guy For the 2 les Pauls I have ordered the rs "pre-wired vintage electronics upgrade kit" and for the SG I have ordered "pre-wired vintage sg upgrade kit"
+Rich Quinnuk Nice! You should
Have told them you chatted with Visual Guy! Hey’d probably be like “who is that”? Haha Hope you enjoy them!
My goodness they’re both excellent. Kinda hard to pick. I really don’t understand why anyone would need anything besides Seymour Duncan for aftermarket pickups.
Thanks! Have you tried a lot of aftermarket pickups? I can understand why they would want and need others, but I’ve owned upwards if 50 sets
Visual Guy oh I can’t really say I’m an expert or anything no. Very much just a recreational player. But to the layperson it seems like SD offers pretty much anything you could imagine. Can’t lie I’d love to hear a set of ThroBaks in person but my skill definitely does NOT match the price of them 😂
Antiquity w a little more brights on the top of the PAF
I agree with this I think! Cheers!
I like the antiquity cleans over the Seth's but prefer the Seth's overdriven .
Most of the time, on videos, the more low end, the better sound when a guitar is being played by itself. I think the antiquities would shine a little more in a mix with the slightly sweeter high end. Either set would do fine with adjustments tho. It could also just be my playing, being more authoritative and intentional on the Seth OD take. Who knows!!! They are both great! Thanks for watching
@@VisualGuy since I watched this video the first time ended up buying a set of seth lovers and now I have a hard time imaging any humbucker set Ants included that I would like better for clean tones . The seth neck is amazing I have them in a Gibson les paul 50s standard and the clean tone from the neck is a dead ringer for Jimmy pages live clean tones with his number 1 les paul . The seth nails his clean tone from Ramble on when he plays it on it might get loud and also nails his clean tone from the live version of over the hills and far away . The bridge pickup is also killer and it nails Alex lifesons 2112 era live tone. It does not quite do the Page thing as well as the neck pup which is due to the fact that page uses A5 based pickups in the bridge I have been told if I put an A5 or unoriented A5 in the bridge it will nail the page Bridge sound. People have also said pairing A duncan 59 in the bridge with the seth neck will not only do a better job of the page bridge tones but also mixing it with the seth will nail the page middle tone. But I really love the seth bridge in this stock form because it does the Rush thing so well which is kind of strange conserving Alex Lifeson used Gibson t tops which are quite different. Unless the T tops he was using had A2 Mags and not A5. Apparently T tops with A2 Mags were quite common in the late 60s and early 70s even though they were supposed to have A5. Quite a few aftermarket winders have repaired and examined quite a few t tops from that Era which had A2 instead of A5. So maybe Alex had some A2 sets . They certainly sound warmer and more rounded then the ones Page was using .
I like the Seth Lover pickups better.
Awesome man! Thanks for chiming in. Hope you subscribe
The differences sound negligible, and that's only if I'm *really* paying attention. I'll go for the cheaper set if I ever get an ES-345 and decide to replace the pickups.
Antiguity are the best pickups I ever heard. Anyway, Seths have something really special in em, somthing really charming.
Thanks for watching!
Are you using the stock 300k volume pots or did you go to 500k?
500k
Thanks for replying. I was deciding between 300k or 500k for my seths but wasn't sure of 500k because I heard seths/antiquities are very bright already
That’s why we have tone knobs!
That Seth Lover sounded more like Dickie and Duane.
Awesome! Hope you subscribe!!!
Are you in Southern California?
No. I live in KY.
Seth lovers have a thicker les paul style sound. Antiquities have like a fender style sound but more than a fender has but not as much of a les paul lol. Seth lovers for me but would defineately be just as greatful to have antiquities. 🤘
Antiquities are def brighter. Probably the weaker magnets compared to fully charged A2 in seth.
Tyler Golka I agree with you ,got to have both sets 😄
The antiquity is slightly brighter the Seth is slightly more bass and middle.
Thanks for watching! Hope you subscribe!
Both great... the atiquity Sounds a little more powerful for me so they is my Favorit...
The Seth Lover is somewhere betwen Duane Allman and Peter Green...
The Antiquity is somwhere betwen Kossof an Page...
Thanks for watching! Hope you subscribe! I have a lot of other shootouts!
Seths sound warmer, more mellow so the ones for me as I play mostly quiet, clean songs.
Awesome man!
Honestly.. Seth lover neck and antiquity bridge
Both sound excellent, but I think the Antiquities have a sparkle that the Lovers don't, to my surprise as I was sure I'd like the Lovers more! I'd say Antiquities sound like a less aggressive and sparkly 57 Classic.
+hi13ts Yea man, they are less charged A2 magnets, so they have some extra brightness. But I think it really depends on other things too. If I had a brighter amp, the Seth may be a better choice. It all
matters, but I do agree. In this video, I think the Antiquities sound better. Thanks for tuning in! Cheers!
Now get those Fralin pure Paf in there for a comparison
Here we go!
ua-cam.com/video/Sak0M0Wi7YY/v-deo.html
How does the antiquities compare to the Sheptone tribute in your opinion ?
Hey man - you’ll likely find the Sheptones to be a tad brighter. They have A5 magnets as opposed to the Antiquity A2 (softer). They are also slightly lower DCR. Brighter for a LP is a good thing for me, because I use my Tone controls a lot and I dig the tele on steroids thing. Both are great sets and unless you put them in a guitar and record them to A/B them, whichever you end up with are an excellent choice. I’ll have a couple of Shep vids coming out this week. One Tribute 4 vid, and one that compares the two Tribute sets he offers. Just FYI. Cheers!
This solidifies my chouce to get a pair of seth lovers
Nice! Enjoy them!
Ants sounded fuller , more complex , less 'in your face' compared to the Seths .
Thanks for chiming in! Getting ready to put them up against a few. Throbak, wizz, lollar. We’ll see! Hope you subscribe!
I want a set of Throwbacks , but they're a bit pricey . I opted for a set of Antiquities for my Les Paul as they were half as many shekels ...
I have bought up a bunch of sets to compare for youtubers to hear. Starting the vids this week!
0:48 Saves The Day - At Your Funeral?
I don’t know what that means lol
@@VisualGuy haha my bad. Your chord choice is legit the chorus to that song. It starts out with single notes and then they ring out G D A, same tempo, timing, etc.
Nice! Don’t know it but lots of songs have that chord arrangement. Got lucky!
I wonder how the Jazz would do in this battle.
Need to try those!
Which do You prefer in general?
Antiquities
@@VisualGuy antiquities vs sle? I currently wcr/Wagner Darkbursts and they are great as well....I hate to be this guy...... But..... Have u ever played any wcr/wagner pups? N is there any chance at all to see a comparison between the throbak and say a darkburst or crossroads?
You can see an SLE + vid VS antiquities. I’ve never tried the actual SLE-101. Never played any Wagner. I may one day, but so far I’ve not come across any.
@@VisualGuy oh I saw the video I should have clarified I was asking what you preferred, like what was your favorite of the entire shootout if you had to pick both neck and Bridge they don't have to be of the same set just your favorite neck pickup and your favorite Ridge pickup of the entire shootout
@@VisualGuy and definitely keep your eyes peeled for a Wagner darkbursts or Crossroads, he has a little bit different construction method to the typical paf cloners but he somehow achieves a recorded paf EQ, basically he winds his pick up till they sound the way he wants, and they end up sounding like some of the best paf ever recorded
Antiquities are noticeably better, I didn't think there would be that much of a difference but there definitely is
Thanks for the input!
You UA-cam name is so great, by the way. 😂
Seths for me
Awesome! Thanks for watching! I have tons more shootouts on my channel if interested
When doing comparisons like these IMHO you should play EXACTLY THE SAME Chords and Lines for both in order to get a real COMPARISON. Thanks anyway.
This was one of the first shootouts I ever filmed. Try the other 85 in my playlist and you’ll find what you want there. Cheers.
Would have preferred a better sounding amplifier to start with and more Dynamic playing to follow up. Sorry but this demo didn't really provide any solutions for me
Thanks for watching!
You gotta do, bridge vs bridge, middle vs middle, neck vs neck. This whole do all these licks and then do them all again with the next pickups doesn't work. You, can't compare pickups like that. It doesn't work.
Thanks for the tip!
I just did a comparison video showing the Epiphone 57CH(G) and the Gibson USA '57 Classic Plus bridge humbuckers.
ua-cam.com/video/L38c_YKcyWU/v-deo.html
Really they are so close, the difference can be made up with tone changes on the amp. to me the Seth lovers sound better in the solo and the antiquities sound better using chords.
Yep! Very true.
Hey thank you for doing the comparison, i bought an antiquity for my les to put in the bridge and that's what im about to do now !
I love doing these things. It’s pretty informal but I had yet to see one using the same guitar. Thanks for the kind words and please keep in touch! Don’t forget, only solder the metals! if you smell chicken... you check for all 10 fingers! 😂😂🍻
I have had that antiquity in my guitar for over an hour now and it's never coming out, it's freaking incredible! Better than what i expected. I'm trying to get the strings all at the same volume, the high E and B are a bit louder than the others, so im messing with the pole screws to get it right. What i did was move the 57 classic + from the bridge to the neck and put the antiquity Bridge in, the balance is prefect.
Glad you have having so much success with it bud! Keep me posted!
The Antiquities bridge sounds like Jimmy Page early zeppelin, and the and the Lover bridge sound like Free, Paul Rodgers...
Nice assessment!
I hate when people do comparison videos and they go through all three positions on one set and then go through all three on the next set. By that point you have no reference as to what they sound like position to position relative to each other. Going from a bridge in one to the neck on another. I wish people would keep this in mind when they edit and post these comparison videos.
Open two browsers. Chapter the video in the comments. Or make your own version that is better. All great options other than complaining. This has been addressed many times in the comments. There are solutions.
@@VisualGuy I’ll complain because you’re presenting this as a comparison video and I shouldn’t have to do all that crap in order to actually be able to compare them; you should have put the work in. Learn to edit.
I made this 5 years ago. I've learned. Dare you to subscribe.
That wax potting really muffled the Lovers! Great demo
+Ignavum Asinus actually, neither pickups are potted! It’s just the Lovers are a little warmer. Both sets come with no wax... as God intended and I much prefer! Cheers!
... AS GOD INTENDED...
Truer words have never been spoken.
Subbed.
It's not the potting. I've heard enough potted pickups that are much more open than any Seymour Duncans...
True, but there is no potting on the Seths. 😉
To me, the Seth Lovers sound hotter (possibly like a brand new PAF) with the Antiquities sounding brighter and softer.
Thanks for watching! Hope you check out the others!
First!
Seth Lover sounds better for me
Cheers!
seth lovers sound better!
Thanjs for watching. Hope you subscribe
Both sound like chinese pickup brand GnB
So much nice and expensive gear, unfortunately the player doesn’t do all that gear justice at all.
“Justice”. That is a very strong word. I’d argue that the point of this video, regardless of the playing or their ability, is to show some differences, (if any) of the two sets of pickups. Therefore, your comment does this video no justice because it doesn’t contribute to the overall purpose or topic. But I’m no debater. I hope you still enjoyed the video, and and remember to be polite to your fellow earthlings! Cheers!
Thank you for contributing such positivity to not only the guitar community, but to the human race. Will be awaiting the videos of your excellent playing and gear demos with bated breath.
@@VisualGuy shitty playing actually makes you judge gear more harshly because your ear keeps pointing out overly sharped bends or missed notes during a fast picking run. So I would argue this video is almost the opposite of a comparison or promo.
Like I said, I’m no debater. Just remember to be polite to your fellow earthlings. I wish you all the best in your playing and if I ever come across your content I will do my best to lift you up. If you ever need any feedback about pickups, I’m happy to tell you my experiences. Cheers!
Almost 100 different people commented on this video with positivity. Thank goodness you came here to set the record straight. Instead of complaining on the videos of others, why don’t you post your own gear demo videos and contribute more to the community by “doing gear justice”, instead of sitting around your house dumping on people that are actually taking the time to contribute.
