@@doctorsuave I don't understand the direction of this channel, it started off so great with the videoed chats on UA-cam. The move to audio on Spotify was a huge mistake. One viewer lost here (reluctantly).

I just found out that the band, Texas, is named after Paris, Texas, and this little Brit in Austin, Texas, has actually performed in Paris, Texas. The amazing Texas ... I bought a small cassette player and the Texas cassette album before leaving to travel through India and Nepal in the 90,s. Great memories !
I too remember 1989 .. July 1989. Dublin. I made her a sandwich one Saturday lunchtime in a shopping centre restaurant when Texas were in town for a concert. 17 yo me fell in love 😍

When I was a kid, I always thought they were American. Then I heard her speak one day and my mind was blown!

@@sternchen112 I'm from the UK so its even worse :) they were on a morning show called This Morning or it was Pebble Mill, they sung then were interviewed, that was in the 90s. That's when I found out!
Just listen to the whole interview on Spotify, again👍🏻😁. Just brilliant👌🏻. This time I even googled the Sony Cassette Desk that Rob bought on eBay (during Lockdown) and which Sharleen had in her bedroom. Talking about making mixtapes from the Top40....what great memories!!
By the way, I always thought John Travolta & Olivia Newton John sang: 'That's when we made our true love DIE' !?! 😅🤨🤣. So glad that even "native 🇬🇧speakers" don't always hear the song lyrics: properly👌🏻🤭😁.
