I really enjoyed your full discussion with Bishop on Spotify. The only thing missing is your beautiful faces, but I'd rather listen than miss out on you and your guests. Cheers
Just downloaded the free Spotify App on my smartphone...
JUST...for Mister R. Brydon!!
And listen to the whole interview - just wonderful👏🏻❤️.
I'm I correct in thinking this is: the first and only (for now - till the next interview will be uploaded) "complete" interview on Mr. Brydon's Spotify Podcast list? 🤔
Simply delightful!
Love John’s story of rekindling his relationship with Melanie his wife - and that it was the most important thing to come from the Open Mic session. He comes across as a lovely bloke. His fame is richly deserved. You’re not so bad yourself Rob!
Two really great men that I admire, not for their fame but for their innate goodness.
Agreed. You don’t often hear men be vulnerable enough to say that they want to be friends. That’s really sweet.
You are so easily impressed ..."Great men" ....you are stupid beyond belief
John bishop is so naturally unfunny. He has stolen a career as a comedian.
@@milsub59 I bet you’d be fascinating to see up on stage in front of thousands of people
@@beniteztheconman He is an absolute droning bore
I love hearing John's story of the open mic. Take opportunities in front of you and just go for it! (and save £4)
That was a fabulous episode. John is so honest and engaging! Excellent job Rob for just letting John speak his truth.
A lesson for us all : be vulnerable and try and change acquaintances into friends. I hope this friendship blossoms
Two top blokes honest as the day is long. What a great story from John and massive congrats to him on saving his marriage and being bloody funny !
Rob, you are one of the best interviewers I've ever seen. Personal, funny, sometimes even, ahem, wise ;)
Thanks Stan! - Alex, Channel Manager
Every inch the guy I thought he was... Nice guy.. Lovely interview.
Does UA-cam not have a huge audience in Britain? Rob is pretty popular in Britain, from what I can see, but also at the same time this channel doesn't seem to have big numbers, like I assumed it would. Top class interviews with great people, what's not to love?
To be fair I regularly watch Would I Lie to You, The Trip, and Gavin & Stacey clips on UA-cam, and yet it's taken until today for Rob's channel to be recommended to me.
With all respect to Rob, I think his main audience might be a bit too old to be on UA-cam.
@@HOTD108_ You know what, that does make sense. I discovered Rob through WILTY about 2 years ago, and hence I follow this channel and so on. But yeah the fans who usually attend his tours are probably a bit old by now.
@@HOTD108_ 56 ?
This chat made me cry. I didn’t know who John Bishop really was...I do now. What a wonderful story. I have always bragged that I saw Elvis July 1975. What a great concert. I grew up with his movies.
John Bishop is fabulous. I adore his accent.
it's put on, completely fraudulent accent.
Great to see you back. Please note that for those of us who are deaf, You Tube (with its subtitles facility ), is the only way to access your series 😊
I’m so glad this series is back! Hope Rob continues it after lockdown.
I love your interviews Rob. You give the interviewee a chance to talk without trying to upstage them. I used to have Michael Parkinson on my list of people I’d love to be interviewed by and then Graham Norton. So if my acting career carries on the way it’s going then I’d be honoured to do a one to one with you one day! Congratulations on a very watchable series Rob.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Hope you enjoy the rest of the series :) - Alex, Channel Manager
@@RobBrydon My pleasure and I’m sure I will Alex.
Is Alex really Rob? I only ask, because Rob has a history of pretending to be his own manager! 😝
@@CoLD.SToRAGE I’m not too bothered. It’s just lovely to know that my compliments are acknowledged. Have a great night Sir.
Well there we are, John made me well up when he described his reconciliation with his wife Melanie. Thank you 🥰
Rob I'm binge watching/listening these interviews while I'm working. A pure delight. Thank you 🙏🏾🧡🙏🏾
I have thoroughly enjoyed this interview,he John is a fabulous fellow ,honest and funny plus Rod you are a special man ,you are just so funny that you crack me up ,so,so clever..
Hurray for Rob Brydon, all the way from Austin, Texas! So glad you're back--I've missed you! And I greatly enjoyed your chat with John Bishop, another of my favourites. What a great afternoon treat, here in my home office, with tea and cake!
Brilliant! That honesty was very moving. For our partners to be able to see us as we were, wow!
I saw John Bishop recently, excellent all round! My sides still hurt a bit from laughing, thank you Mr. B for another fab interview/chat. Be well, Sally 🌹
Wait that was just a few minutes surely? Mesmerising interview 👍
I could listen to John Bishop for hours. 🧏♀️ 😍. He’s so interesting, funny and bloody good looking 🤣. 🐨🦘🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Just watched John Bishop and Sir Ian McKellan in Mother Goose at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield. Great fun for all ages, from children to senior citizens. As soon as John Bishop came on stage there was great applause and for Ian McKellen as well, there was such a warm feeling for both of them. Ian is a National Treasure and I think John is well on his way to becoming one. Love you both.
Rob Brydon is such a nice bloke and the main reason I watch his interviews. He is so kind, considerate and funny at the same time. Think having a big family has been the making of him as a human being!
How did I not know about these interviews?!? Brilliant! Greetings from Canada Mr. Brydon.....
It's good to see you back and thank you especially for the deliberation to include CC subtitles.
That was grand. I enjoyed that. Liked Rob's slippers too.
I liked his cat mug.
Excellent, you're back!! Didn't know anything about John Bishop, so it was good to meet him here. Thank you.
Yeahhh!!! You're back!
Thank you, Rob Brydon, for a great, albeit too short, interview. Loved it.
Thanks guys. Just found these interviews can’t wait to watch the rest. X
These two gentlemen are to be recognised and admired.
They alone may be able to bring some respect and honour back into the British Empire.
Thanks Rob. That was genuinely moving.
Nice interview Rob. A lot more insightful than I was anticipating.
Oh my God, John, what a story! Heartwarming! ❤️
Brilliant... I was so happy when I saw Rob had a new episode...:)
Such a natural interview. Can't wait to see more.
This is great. Thanks Rob. Love your work mate.
Two genuinely talented and funny men....
Love John Bishop ❤ First time I saw him was on Graham Norton who I love too ❤ John is so funny 🤣😂🤣
Love you guys, keep this going Rob! John, I love how your inauspicious open mic comedy intro ultimately reunited you & your gorgeous wife Melanie. Going to Relate, getting out of the weeds, well done! Big hugs ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
♥️♥️♥️. Two of my favorite guys together.
What a wonderful episode. Thanks Rob & John. Best wishes from Greece.
Saw the program about you and your home town, Nantwich. I loved it, I would have been at Malbank at the same time as you. You would have been in my brothers year. John Bishop is great he isn't far from Nantwich now he has moved!.
Hi Rob, I am really loving your channel. Please keep making more videos. They are hugely enjoyable and back in the day. Even today, I enjoyed your voice over work for the Discworld 1-3 games. That came out on the PlayStation. I think you even voiced the majority of the characters voices for Discworld Noir. Didn't you? It does sound like it, every time I play that particular game. You have a amazing gift, keep on sharing it to the UA-cam community and beyond! :)
What a wonderful interview
That story was wonderful! I remember during my divorce that I would always go on a long walk with good music on right after the hand-off of my child to my ex. I had to do something because the hand-off always left me feeling empty.
I love this story about John and his wife getting back together. It's just great. He was lucky that she turned up with her co-workers...or some might say that "someone" sent her there.
who?
@@butterflymoon6368 John is the man that Rob is interviewing. Lol
2 of my faves loved it!
I had a lecturer in college who said he was good mates with John when they were younger. From Bridgend he was
Looking forward to seeing him on Doctor Who
What? I thought Doctor Who got cancelled in the 80s?
@@HOTD108_ Don’t worry, you’ve only missed 15 years worth...
@@HOTD108_ thanks to the complete failure of the first female doctor its about to be cancelled again
@@sandwichman100 Way to be a misogynist! It's not her. People like her. It's the writing that isn't up to par. Chibnall's writing doesn't even come close to the complexities of Moffat or the campy lunacy of Davies. If he didn't have such brilliant actors in Broadchurch, it would never have worked at all.
@@tartfuel Stating the fact that she is a bad doctor is not misogyny.
Here in the States, I haven't seen John in quite a while. I'm a huge fan from his appearances on HIGNFY.
1:50 "Hang on, have we started?!" lol
I believe it was genuine, so all that came before that was unfiltered.
Heel cream for older people, well alright then! Hand it over 😋
I love these podcasts! Two of my favorite people!
Really interesting chat between two nice people!
John Bishop looks like Mick Jagger that’s a compliment 😁🇬🇧👍
Yay! Brydon's back with more cool people! Yay! Yay! Thanks Rob (and awesome production team)! Dave J
What a wonderful story🙂

Cheers. Greeting from the Philippines.
What an amazing and lovely story.
Wonderful!
Love these two
What a great story, Rob. ;-)
Welcome back, Rob :)
Excuse you sir for making me feel old! I am in my twenties and rely on the heel balm religiously
What a storyteller!
What a beautiful story :)
Nice one Rob
Nice one Bish
John Bishop would be the finest friend.
Lovely ❤️
I'd love to see Lee Mack on this, particularly talking about Buddhism. Would be interesting to see Rob's take on it.
Brilliant

i Love you Bishop
The chicken act made me laugh
Incredible
Rob…… where is the Elvis suit that was hanging on back of ur office door🤪😜🤪😜👀👀👀
one minute in: "They have the same hair??"
@Angela Dawn...I'm surprised not more men have the same hair with lockdown and all!!🤪🤣
John has a gemuiness that translates. I have thought so for quite some time.
Coogan in the future?
Man, that outro went 0-100 volumewise real quickly.

You two could pass as brothers or cousins...
Hello Rob
👍🏼👍🏼
Great interview. But far too short.
Hiya Rob how are you
The only fault I have with this interview is that it is too short!
Isn't john bishop doing doctor who
Loved hearing the story, hated the music getting jacked up at the end. Not cool!
I love these videos... but tell the truth, are they simply teasers for longer “pay as you go” fuller interviews? 😉
“I’ll tell you for why...” to coin a phrase, they feel like snippets.
Hi! There are fuller episodes available, however they are not pay as you go.. and I tell you for why... they are free and exclusive on Spotify open.spotify.com/episode/4uuIZ7gjJTUkKxUTZeB2V1 😊 enjoy! x - Alex, Channel Manager
I'll be your middle aged talking buddy John.
Was this sponsored by Grecian 2000?
Who over 16 says 'Will you be my friend?': really? Strange but he's very entertaining.
