Hey, the Shincheonji cult is currently operating in Germany by targeting Instagram accounts, especially from young people. That's why I'm looking for the most compact material possible to put together answers in German. I have hardly any contact with the cult myself. What would be the top 10 questions you could ask the members and really get them thinking? What would be the top 10 Bible passages that contradict the current Shincheonji teaching or are obviously misinterpreted by the Shincheonji teaching? Otherwise, what would be 10 facts that contradict the current Shincheonji teaching?

I know they say we have to stick to what the Bible says and for that reason I want to debate with facts and with what is already written. I would recommend reading the document in this post I made on the Shincheonji subreddit if you haven't already: www.reddit.com/r/Shincheonji/comments/sxcbrk/disproving_shincheonji_i_left_yesterday/?context=3 It has all the information from the four videos posted on this channel (so you could alternatively watch the videos) but I think the document is a bit more coherent. The articles are written by Lee Man Hee and sent to members on Telegram by their cell leader generally. Once someone becomes a fully registered member they get an SCJ ID number and the ability to log in to eduzion.org where you can find many of the recent articles translated into English. In terms of debating them I think it's important to go into it with the understanding that they're heavily indoctrinated and because of this their critical thinking is very limited. So it might be frustrating if the debate keeps going around in circles, or they never really answer your questions and redirect your attention to other questions, etc, but that is what you should be prepared for. The other thing to be aware of is the potential for manipulation. I suggest reading about gaslighting beforehand and try to be aware of it throughout the conversation. SCJ teachers will also often avoid answering difficult questions entirely by explaining why the question isn't important or changing the question. They also misuse Bible verses by taking them out of context and reading them in the context of different verses, but that's a big topic - I would just say that just because they "stick to the Bible" that doesn't mean their interpretation is correct.
@@littlebird7271 and when you ask a serious question, for comparison for example, they just keep turning around in their doctrine and what they teach. Not open for discussion. It is like you put on a button and get standard answer they have in their "program". I left SCJ and started to read the Bible without their doctrine and realised how they twist verses. In the center course it al looked good, but you are in their doctrine and do not have the time to read the Bible and ask critical questions. You are so occupied in their system : 3 days a week the lessons and when you have finished the lessons you are even more busy with lectures etc. 7 days a week. So your time for reading and studying the Bible and start to be critical is so limited. When I exit SCJ I could better see the things were not ok.
@@nancydp1402 yeah I thought the same thing too. This thing of occupying almost everyday for meeting and reviews etc. It gets you studying their material only without reading in context the whole chapter. You end up getting prepared only for the lessons and cherry pick verses. I realised that too.

@@gray2635 eg they say jesus came back as a spirit, and showed Himself to LMH. In the bible it is written that jesus comes back the same way He left. Not a spirit. They put Jesus on thesame line as Moses. They forget the diety of Jesus. Also in Rev it is written that Jesus puts His feet on the earth. Is NOT a spirit. They also ignore the trinity. They also say the kingdom is already there. In the bible this KD comes after the tribulation. They ignore the promises God made to Israël. They say they are the 144000. In the Bible it is clear that it is connected to the nation. They say LMH is the rider on the White horse in Rev 6. Not possible. They ignore the verses which say that the spirit is given to the reborn Christian and lives within them. They claim only LMH has the spirit. They say revelation already happened for 90%. And even in their doctrine it is not 90%. They lie. Etc, etc etc. It is a misleading doctrine. Leave as soon as possible. I am soooooo happy i left those lies. Happy God openend my eyes for His true Word. Thank God. The more i read the Bible and study, the more i can see their lies. But they always twist it at a manner it seems they are wright. But they are not. I write this in a simple way now. When you need verses i have to take my Bible. I am not good in memorising numbers. But leave while it is still period of Grace given by our Lord. However, even current members do not have access to this book because it has been replaced by more recent publications with the old doctrine removed. Thankfully, some members who had a copy and left SCJ have donated their copies and it was eventually uploaded online.
