I think the whole concept has to be adapted to today's time and the people out there should get more influence.

I absolutely adore this band, they have a huge international fanbase. I voted for them because I wanted them to go to Liverpool so bad. This song is on the softer side of what they do, but I think it is perfect for Eurovision. They know how to rock a big stage. Basically Germany is a Rock and Metal country. We are headbangers. There is so much more to our Metalscene than Rammstein. I can recommend Electric Callboy, Powerwolf, Beyond the Black, the German mother of Punk Nina Hagen. She did some masterpieces together with Apocalyptica from Finnland. Her voice is outstanding. She is a classical trained Opera singer with a voice range of 8 (yes!!) octaves. Fury in the slaughterhouse, Saltatio Mortis, OompH!, Feuerschwanz, Blind Guardian. Just to name a few.
Sorry but the austrialian song is pop with a little bit of rock elements, so they can't be compared to Lord of the lost who are a metall band. Also blood and Glitter is better than the austrialian song

The lyrics remind me a lot of Ville Valo and HIM. I love the singer´s dark and versatile voice. I would absolutely prefer if he would sing in german.
