Moving to Heber from Southeast. Looking to be part of a community with its own character even though I’m contributing to that growth which may dilute that character. I think it’s the responsibility of the people moving in to help maintain the character of the community.

Thanks for sharing! I agree, you'll certainly want to be someone who adds to the community rather than changing it

Sanpete County seems like the best fit for me😊

I’m a tower crane operator and the SLC area has kinda caught my eye. I’ve watched a few of your videos and while I have noticed some 🏗️, the area seems pretty flat. Are there areas where they are developing multi-story buildings? Or would I be fighting for a seat in one of a few tower cranes around the city? SLC seems very nice, but I’m concerned about the availability of jobs for my very specific profession…

There are more than you think. No, it's not a mega city like New York, L.A., or Chicago, but Utah has been booming especially with mid rise and high rise residential which all uses crane operators. I just looked on my indeed account showing 86 jobs for crane operators, some for senior operators.

Should have considered that before sending your kids to the coast cities where they can be themselves or when the indigenous people were occupying the land.

Utah seems pretty good at turning around infrastructure upgrades. Just my experience in 1.5 years of living here 😇. We're interested in both established and new, sorry that doesn't help much lol
