- In second episode of Newshour Agenda with Madhavdas G, we look at the uproar over Pune Porsche accident. On Sunday, a 17-year-old boy driving a Porsche sports car killed two people in Pune city after his car crashed into their bike in the Kalyani Nagar area, the police said. The accident occurred at 3:15 am early Sunday morning when the two victims were returning home after partying at a club. The juvenile was given bail later. The bail has triggered outrage over the issue. Pune Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar joined us for an exclusive chat on the Pune Porsche Accident. Example set recently, Law for rich & powerful - Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Shri Sanjay Singh, Pune Car Crash Master Agarwal below 18 years asked to write essay. Absolutely. The JJ Act needs to be upgraded on an urgent basis. Like in the US of A, age does not matter to prosecute an underage accused for heinous crimes. And in cases like this the parent needs to be punished in an exemplary manner.

No. No changes are required. Just arrest juvenile justice board member, Dr N L Dhanwade, who illegally issued bail, on a holiday, and in absence of another judge of Juvenile Justice Board, as rule says 2 judges must be present to grant bail.

We definitely need changes in such Judicial dictatorship and unnecessary laws which has no role in welfare of the society. Here Judges could have detained the minor in Observation Home for a longer period. As the minor is 17, there should be a preliminary assessment in order to ascertain the mental capacity of accused to do that crime.
