Well music Magazines have reduced publishing monthly issues. Nowadays some are only available online. However here just need to scroll down through composers. And might find someone new to your ears. Might even buy the collection of Virginia Woolf stories
Finally it got cold enough here in Germany to enjoy this kind of music again. I think this melody is only working when the days are short and dark and the air is so cold that you cant even breathe. Than the real magic of this beautiful music starts living in our hearts. Thanks for sharing and thanks to Richter!
I was struggling for inspiration in a story I am writing, and then I listened to this and Max Richter's other songs. I went from slowly writing a dull, dreary chapter to speeding through one of the most inspired and inspirational pieces of fiction I have yet written. Thank you Max Richter.
So, so, beautiful. A memory surfaces in my mind. I am standing in a field of poppies, a soft breeze on my face . Then i here someone call my name over and over like violins . Looking up i saw embers falling as snow, filling the sky. Was this a dream......
@@lilyloveslife2737 Thanks, I'm doing better. Can't really remember what was going on when I wrote that. Just another reminder that life goes on. I hope you're doing well too
The poem you've shown to all of us, human beings that have spent a whisper just to see a tiny part of your soul is not a bad poem. I think there's no good or bad poetry, because poetry is just a way to share a deep feeling. You can choose the better words, or you can fail at doing it, but the feeling still behind the words and all the beuty of a poem belongs to the feeling, not to the words. Have a good day, and thank you for the beautiful music.
This song feels like you wake up one morning and discover the world and civilization as we know it is gone, never to be the same again. Friends and Families meeting each other on the empty streets looking at each other but not saying a word
Well it is in a way...Look at people walking down the city streets (if you're in that environment)… Most people aren't even looking up, around, smiling or talking to one another...they're just texting away, searching for approval in social media, etc.
Embers of a life richly lived now fading into the sunset .. I softly breathe .. a wisp of air .. then stillness all around... my fresh tears falling to the ground.. I am bound by the immortal for that is who I am !!
I stumbled upon this after watching the documentary :The Nazis:And The Final Solution. The irony of the composer this of this beautiful piece of music displays how what allowing, and showing forgiveness, can achieve. The music is very thought provoking, and it makes you remember everyone who died, and the survivor's. They are always in my heart, and thoughts. Derek. The book is a must read.
Wow no need for words just by allowing your soul to entangle deeply with the crying out of the instruments takes you so much further than words can describe epic ...
please tell him Nothing is impossible please be worth it for yourself make your life matter every single second of it,every smallest moment please for the love of good let yourself be important enough for you
Maravilloso 😌
i love hip hop, but this type of music sends shivers down my spine. How the different instruments intwine together to create such a beautiful peice. The best thing is, everyone has a different intepritation of each song, amazing.
I know what you mean...I listen metal and rap,and I love this at least as much as I love my usual music. It expresses so much just by instruments...it's wonderful indeed.

The original ending sequence sounds very much alike to The Irrepressibles album "From The Circus to The Sea". It's a really good album, and although not very popular it is very unique and comforting to listen to.
When I listen to this piece of music, all I see is the Auschtwitz Album. My heart breaks, and aches. 6 Million souls are in my thoughts. Each one lives. Derek.
Once again, an amazing piece by this guy Max, i've only just discovered him, by finding out what the music was on the SKY HD advert was here in the UK...
I wish I knew more people who listen to Max Richter. I get the strong impression that collectively we make for a good group of people.

This is so addictive I can't stay away from it, it makes me feel happy and sad at the same time, it's just wonderful 👏
And twelve years later I'm here
It feels so different.

The vibrato on the violin is so beautifully narrated which gives the whole song it's essence. It is emotional and gripping at the same time. Love it.

A clothing for the soul divine.
Under every grief and pine,
Runs a joy with silken twine
