I love how you are using the cinematic camera mod in your timelapses and when transitioning from scene to scene. It adds a very nice touch to the flow of the episode. Great work as always!
I was thinking the same. Just a minute and a half into the video and I found myself at awe for the lovely camera work on the transitions. This kind of high quality stuff is awesome, in addition to fantastic builds in game
Perfect way to make this Friday awesome, another D&M episode! I especially love when you make coy little jokes, your humor and personality are what make this series perfect
Found myself waiting in anticipation for the next video and then sad that it goes by so quickly. I just go back and rewatch episodes of this and previous series You truly are an artist.
Hello T4rget! Me: 14:00 The yellow building are so cute. Perfect place, maybe transform as a historical build. You: bulldoze! Me: Oh! =D nevermind H4ve F4n.
You are so great. I'm watching you from Brazil and is the only youtuber that have my respect. You are such a artist and it's really inspiring. I'm trying so much to do a highway like you.
eu AMO encontrar brasileiros nos comentários de vídeos de canais que eu gosto. sim!! t4rget é um dos poucos youtubers que projeta uma cidade e me traz a sensação de conforto
T4rget, I love the series and I can already see that you're really going for fewer episodes in this season, just as you have said in the prologue. Just makes me a little bit sad, still I see all the work he are putting into these episodes and I am left in awe.
That's another great addition to the city Major T4rget. One little side note, in Sunset DLC actually there's a building with interloping metro station under it named intercity bus station or bus hub, I can't quite remember. Definitely a need-to-checkout item in case you don't wanna make two metro station side by side again like on this vid. Great vid!
Another fun episode! The new park looks great with the purple trees! Maybe add a metro near the inner side of the Track & Field Stadium? You can use it to turn the metro line to the other side of the avenue and also help take away the crazy traffic during match day.
Your videos have been great to watch, especially during this current time, really relaxing. I really prefer the no mods approach. Went back and started watching your first series of Design and Manage. I'm glad youtube 'recommended' your channel (recommendations useful for once).
Love the episode! Each new installment always inspires me to improve my own builds! You might want to consider adding in a post office or two as well if you haven't already. Maybe some bike paths around the university area.
I found something out by accident today. Having dead ends like the one your bus route uses works really well 4 or 5 blocks before major junctions, because vehicles trapped in the outside lane use it to change lanes instead of that horky borky behaviour they usually use.
I usually put a metro stop near the entrance to sport stadiums. The university area in my current city has the aquatic center, basketball stadium and track and field arena so far, and all the citizens use the metro to get out when matches end (they tend to ignore the tram and bus lines for leaving the area, but use them to go to the stadiums).
These are NOT 'games'. These are SIMULATIONS! Big difference. Which is why I love the PC, because you get the chance to really know how it feels to design a city. You also get to understand the financies needed, the sewage system, the layout of the roads and buildings, and everything else in reference to designing a city. This is why I loved Sim City and the seemingly endless ways you can design. City Skylines goes even further.
Great video! Big fan Keep it up Love the idea of letting big buildings having their own block and the occasional empty space..... It does add a certain charm
AMAZING. I love this series. Just letting you know, there is a criss cross metro station for two metro lines at the same stop that was just released with the Sunset Harbor DLC. It is the new metro-bus hub.
Nice More tip from what i have gather, if you are annoyed with an imperfect square zone (especially if it's because it protrudes from a non-90 degree road with a bigger square zone), you can use fences to fix it. See the far left commercial blocks at 3:30 mark, that's what i meant by an imperfect block. A 1x2 block protrude towards a bigger zone, making that bit into 3x3 block instead of 3x4. Thank God for Parklife DLC
Maybe you can change the orientation of the metro station next to the grand mall by placing it on the diagonal road? It would make the track alignment to the transport hub better, and the stations would still be close enough to allow transfer between the two lines. It can also let you add a station inside the university on the way to the coastal district
I wonder if the citizens are increasing their fire insurance coverage with the savings they receive from not having to buy tickets to go into the park... Awesome episode, thanks!
You're amazing! beyond the excellent video editing skills, in my opinion you are really the best player in this magnificent video game. I love cities skylines, but sometimes I focus more on details than on managing the city better, but you do both in the best way. especially in vanilla. Thanks a lot for these gameplay and for your entertainment, keep it up! you are very good. GREETINGS FROM ITALY! hahahha (Sorry for my english from google haha)
Good to see more build.. love what you design. Suggestion-Can change the type of bus to university for some variety and some focus on industry.. cheers mate
I love watching all of your videos. I definitely would love more interactions than timelapses but overall, love the design :) Would you be able to put some of the highway junctions that you made as well as the train junction to the steam workshop?
Because you have so much traffic coming from the new varisity sports building, you could perhaps connect that new bridge you made over the water that is going nowhere with the highway that is at the moment going nowhere :) just a small on- and offramp should spread the traffic more.
You can upgrade the 4 lane avenues to 6 lane avenues because their speed limit is slightly higher so more cars will use them instead of using the slow shortcut.
YES ! Proposition : I try to avoid placing metro station close to pedestrians crossings, then you fit an elevated pathway between the metro exit and the crossing, job's done, I deserve my dessert XD also, so kind to think to reelections, but, to be fair, it's a fantasy, isn't it? haven't seen reelections or citizens pleasure involved with park entrance, what's it about really ? (to be sure I don't miss a thing) So many beautiful road design, so hard to rivalise but I keep on trying. Also, serious change of presentation, I just hope you won't close the season in less than 85 episodes,as usual (don't remember how many there were for Eden quest. H4ve Fun and St4y S4fe, M4yor
Wouldn't it make sense to have the intersecting metro station on the other avenue so they are not parallel? Saves some curves maybe? Also as other people have noticed, isn't it causing traffic to have metro stations at avenues and especially intersections, instead of on the parallel road one block behind the avenue?
I think to avoid traffic in the future u should do some more split way for vehicle to enter&exit the city, like the season 1 u build interchange that has many tunnels that connect to different part of city
New subset harbor has a bus metro hub that has perpendicular metro lines. Use that? instead of doing so much work bending the lines? You also avoid a lot of pedestrian traffic crossing roads or busses stopping on main roads.
I will vote for you as my Mayor in this incoming Election as long as... 1) Don’t ban cars. 2) Policies. Free WiFi Policy and Free Public Transportation Policy
Target (and people of the comment section) what are your favourite dlcs? They are on sale and I'm thinking of buying one or two. I'm a complete noob and I've always struggled to build a decent sized city
Industries and Parklife have the most versatile and game-changing content, Campus is similar. Green Cities is the best bang-for-buck at this point IMO. You can't go wrong with most of them though, they all add some real neat and useful stuff - both aesthetically and functionally. Industries would be my #1 choice.
I just want to ask. Are you a city designer in real life, of an engeneer, or something like that? Because you plan and build this citys beter than anyone I have seen so far.
I think that what have made the color mod feel darker is the darker green on the ground, I don't know if that's changeable, but you could do a test offline to see the difference, if it make sense.
This looks Soo good, I just started playing a few days ago and I think I will never reach this level of detail. Nice work man! Oh and also I'm thinking about getting 1-2 dlc, is there a specific one you can recommend?
I have to say that when u started this city i didn't like it. But these last episodes are very professional. Thank you and congratulations. Hugs from Brazil.
Maybe future you can build a big roundabout or crossing with vegetation that spells New Tadema. Also, is there a mod that increases drawdistance for trees and such?
Hello T4rget I was wondering is it possible to create golf course here in your city. No mods or imported assets ofc. Perhaps in a Paradise Coast are. I don`t know if this is good idea but i believe in your skills.
I know I might be a little late for this but... T4rget Gaming could you please make a tutorial on how to make those beautiful highways? Like, whenever I try to make one (instead of using one from the Steam Workshop) they always turn out very ugly, even though they work.
Public Transportation and a beautiful timelapse? Man, we are lucky to have such content from our man Target
I can't help but think that you do exemplary work in your actual job.
Your handling of this game is like magic.
I love how you are using the cinematic camera mod in your timelapses and when transitioning from scene to scene. It adds a very nice touch to the flow of the episode. Great work as always!

Game: How many trees do you want in your park
T4rget: YES
Paradise coast is a very fitting name for that place.

I have to say; being able to see the green color of trees and grass has been great. Thanks for shifting away from the winter landscape Target!

This LUT is perfect :D The spreading of buildings, and mixing low/high density is really sweet to the eye, really cool idea, too !
Just loved how you improved your video editing skills over the course of two series, keep up the good work!

I love seeing the university area develop! After that is done, do you think you will focus on industry like ore or forestry?
I like this too 😁
he said he'll go with the fishing industry, but I ore would be nice as well

Beautiful riverside park. For sure I will try in my little town 😁
Bro amazing cant wait to keep on building along. Love it
You could join the avenue tunnel in the old residential zone with the bridge you just did, and maybe the highway to provide another access point.
For a while I was wondering why I liked that background score when he places trees then I realized it sounds similar to the Downtown Abbey intro lol
