I tried this and in about a week, it fell off. My tile is glazed. I saw somewhere you should use sandpaper to take off the shine from the area of the wall that will be mounted, and the edge of the shelf, so the bond makes better contact. I'm going to retry that using sand paper. Hope it works this time.

can I ask what do you do when you do not have a perfect 45 degree corner angle that matches your shelf?
If the wall corner is not perfect:
1) if it is just slightly out of perfect; you can add extra double-sided tape to the corner edge where the gap is... to make contact to the wall... and apply more epoxy-gel to fill the gap.
2) if the gap is substantially large; its recommended to measure the degree and mark it on the shelf edge where it should go againt the wall corner. Then have the shelf edge cut with a wet-tile-saw to fit it to corner perfectly. (cutting should be done by a professional to avoid any damage to the shelf or self)
Then, you can proceed to attach the shelf as instructed.
@@marbletilepavers580 hi we ended up using 1 inch decorative stone accent tiles underneath for the brackets, I cut and glued them in a V with adhesive and then glued the corner tiles to the top. I was able to have less problem that way and there is a small gap on each side that I filled in with clear silicone. thanks for your reply.

Does anyone know how much weight this method can hold? My wife wants a low corner shelf to put her foot on to shave her legs. Is this a doable scenario? I’ve seen some shelves that use discs in the that are grooved into the shelf and wall but my wife did not buy that kind. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you
Although this may work for a while I don’t recommend it , the human body can give a lot of leverage on that surface and will probably separate at some point . You would be better if installing a small corner shower pedestal
I know this is old but I will still throw on my 2 cents anyway incase somebody needs it. Kerri board works pretty good to make a shower bench or pedestal. It's light and easy to work with. You can also use to make a niche or whatever. That's what I would do I do general contracting work n do showers n bathrooms quite a bit
Ordered and received the shower corner shelves, but but no epoxy (or anything else) as sown in video. Since the video was specific on the type and steps for the epoxy (like: "wait until blue color dye fades away"), it would be normal to assume it was to be included.
The video on youtube is to show how to install the shelf when you purchase the shelf that comes with the epoxy glue and the kit or if you get install kit components(epoxy and other things that go along) elsewhere.The shelves can also be installed/build-in to the tile while renovating/tiling the shower without the install kit. In this case you wouldn't need the install kit (EZ-Mount Kit) but the plain shelf only as it gets build-in with same tile installing thin-set mortar. So on our website we offer two options of shelve listing for clients to purchase, whether they need to mount on existing shower tiles(EZ-Mount Kit) or to build in while renovating the shower(Plain shelf, no install kit). The listings with EZ-Mount kits is clearly shown on main photos and description of each shelf listing to avoid confusion and misleading information. The description on the Shelf only listing is also explained that the Install kit not-included, also to avoid confusion. Hope you understand why the above explanation. So, if you assumed that all the shelves come with install kit and still need to install your shelves wit the EZ-Mount kit; we can give you a discount on the kits and ship you the kits separately as long as you are willing to pay a discounted difference. I did not see any instructions on what the black marks were on the shelf itself for placing the tabs. Are they supposed to be a specific length away from the edge?
The black marks are not marked on most of the shelves.
Simply as shown in the video; place the small-tabs about 1/2" away from the edge. Please pause/play the video if needed when watching. So you can get a good idea before starting your shelf installation.

Amazon has the cheapest and wide variety instead of the time consuming headache finding and getting one cut in bath tile places
If my shelve fits well do I need to use the double sided tape?
Not necessarily if you can figure it out your way. But the double sided tape is also used with the drop of super glue. The super glue... which helps keeping the shelf in place until the epoxy cures.

How to attach glass?
The adhesive we use will also bond to glass tile. But if your question is "how to attach glass shelves to the tile"; You could probably attach it the same way we attach the marble shelf as in the video. BUT we haven't tested the glass shelves with this system yet. Most glass shelves in the market are 3/8" thickness or less. We recommend the thickness of the shelves to be at least 1/2" or more for best results.That's why we don't really want to give any advice about something we have not tested. We are planning to do some tests and will update you here when tests are done. But for now the Marble shelves attached with this system are a great success so far.
