hey man just found out about you! I haven’t had chance to watch most of your videos but i will check you out brother. seem like a cool & funny guy. good to see ya with same company too bro, stay safe out there!
I know you won't make it to Lousiana much, but we have a lot of good Hot Sauces that orginate here. Louisiana Brand and Crystal Hot Sauce are both great. I like Crystal Hot Sauce with Beans... Of course we have Tabasco also, but I like it when mixed with Ketchup for French Fries and Fish... Most of our Hot sauces can be found all across the country.. Be safe
Hey! The city of Gary needs to fix those pot holes on 15th Ave by Roehl's terminal to Cline Ave. Keep up the great video. I'm still watching your video keep on trucking.
It's a lot to take in for sure! I would try to study the pre-trip in your spare time and skip through any jj kellers that allow you to. You can scroll though some of the videos. They take hours upon hours if you dont. I wish you the best with it and keep us updated. You've made a start and that's a huge step! I wasn't comfortable with my pretrip until the beginning of week two.
@@bluegrassoutdoors pre trip I got the passenger side engine done without the paper. I'm more worried about the backing. Wednesday we are driving on the road. That's a little scary. I'm a diesel mechanic, so I've driven with a trailer but only in a yard.
I was very nervous as well. I didn't get comfortable until I actually went out with my trainer for 3 weeks. And even then it took time. The road test isn't too bad. Make sure you oay close attention to all of the signs cause they will randomly ask you "what did that sign say". And also watch your speed. And then don't run over curves. That's an automatic fail. We all failed our pre-cdl test. They should give you that on week 2. If you are doing that well with the pre-test, I believe you will do just fine. Are you flatbed or dry van?
Originally I was gonna do flatbed, but they couldn't get me in till mid August. I switched to refrigerated, I'm at the Appleton Wisconsin terminal, parallel parking is also on the test as well.
Yes, all three backing maneuvers are on the test. Offset, straight line and parallel all inside the cones. Pretrip, backing maneuvers and road test is how the CDL test goes. They should show you a tecnique for setting up your backing maneuvers and once you learn that it will get much easier with repetitions.
I'm only on my 5th week but my last check was $960 or so after taxes. This check should be more and you get 3 raises or so your first year and also have the option to lease to own a truck or become a trainer after 6 months and both raise your pay quite a bit

First time I see your video, I am a Christian, I am from Puerto Rico, I live in Louisville, Ky. since 2018 and I work at Roehl Transport too!
It's good to hear from you my friend! Jesus Christ is Lord of Lord's and king of kings indeed! How long have you been with Roehl?
Can you both pray for me.

May the Lord's accompaniment always be with you on the road🙏🏻
I will stay with the time I was there the food the cafeteria is really good. I can definitely agree with anyone
On that.
I agree! They have some really good food in there. It's hard for me to resist getting their grilled chicken qraps every time I go there now 😄

Is there not that bad come on😂😂😂
People don't realize how close to death they are fooling around with a semi
Yes indeed!
I think you are a pretty good cook!
Haha, thank you Brett! It's edible 😆
25:54 😂😂
Stay safe man. I found an axe channel on UA-cam I thought you may like. It's Poom's Project. He makes some beautiful axes
that guy luck that the trailer didn't loose the tandems it has happen
Plus the Ken Wirth or Peter built you have to have the key to lock the door or open the side box
I think Roehl only does freightliner and internationals now
I got moved into my new truck today. A 2025 freightliner. I'm pretty happy with that move!
Frank's is the best
I was wondering where I had seen you before, you asked me something while I was waiting on Tuesday at Gary
Were you in the cafateria?
@bluegrassoutdoors no, I was down by the office, you asked where you could find someone or something. I was waiting to take my DSE
@@zakarycavenaugh9667 I remember you now. That’s neat to meet you in person and then hear from you on UA-cam!
Just finished my first day of training at roehl, there's quite a lot of stuff to learn in 3 weeks, might be a little tough.

Franks Red Hot. Good hot sauce.
can you make 1 min hand splitting shorts. Please
Sure
If you are doing creative/lazy parking and you get hit it is your fault because you were not in a designated parking spot
Did they get you a new truck
Are they hiring at roehl?
Yes indeed
How much money you average a week? Thinking about doing this for a 1 year old at home worried about the pay

How is the pay at roehl
Average is around $900-$1500 per week your first year I believe.
@@bluegrassoutdoors miles consistent?
They have been pi king up for me lately. Seems like around 2000 or better per week lately
