it's a very complicated process we don't know much about - but part of it is proteins which are kind of like a wind up toy - they move around in interesting ways, driven by different forces and chemical interactions. Veritasium made an interesting video about it called "your body's molecular machines", you should give it a watch
The chromosome has two chromatids - each an identical copy of DNA. At the end of meiosis each cell has one of the chromatids, which during fertilisation combines with the egg chromatid to reform a complete chromosome.
I've been learning about meiosis for so long but this made it so real I'm in astonishment how does the cell just do that??!!

It's extremely complex, unique
This is the simplest explanation of meiosis and also very clear. Thanks!
Why does the biology learning video have a horror movie sound effect to it?
The sound effects sound so satisfying.
Thank you for sharing! This is very clear.
Nice video. The loud squelchy background noises get a fail from me however. They don't add anything and they distract from the narration.
Amazing imagens!
NICE VIDEO, thanks 4 this!
Actual Meiosis brought me here
visuals goin brazy
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR SHOWING ME THE MIRACLE OF LIFE.
No it is just science
wow
How does the sperm cell get one copy of each chromosome when the process you showed ends with each cell only having half of each chromosome?
The chromosome has two chromatids - each an identical copy of DNA. At the end of meiosis each cell has one of the chromatids, which during fertilisation combines with the egg chromatid to reform a complete chromosome.
@@WEHImovies Thanks!
I love looking at chromosomes being pulled in both the anaphases
omg was it real
какие игрик? какие икс?)) Саксы вы в школу ходили??
That now sex cells divide
Hola Ivonee
thank you i really needto know caz we are gong to make a report for our school
You're making a report about Meiosis but you need help on spelling. Unbelievable.
No entiendo nose igles
describe lo que esta pasando en el video...
bruh
Is this Eukaryotic?
>mouse
yes
I think
Yeah
Yes as it has a nucleus
