I have a Camillus that was produced in the ’60’s (I think) that has patina with no pitting. It has a butter and molasses swirl handle. It was my father’s so it has at least sentimental value.

Glad to hear you have that Camillus. I have one coming in next Monday. I have an Imperial from the 1930's in Butter & Molasses that I plan on reviewing this month to kick off my channel. They are beautiful knives and being your fathers always makes them special.

I haven't finished the research on that one yet. That is the same model and color of the knife I just purchased. The #65 is the standard medium stockman from Camillus and the Butter and Molasses was a very popular color at the time.

That's a really cool Camillus 82 , The tang is definitely from 1960-1976. That liner is pretty cool, I think that was done for the "DeLuxe " line. At one time, this knife probably had an etch on the blades that read Camillus DeLuxe.
It was very common for companies to put a swedge on the show side but not both sides. Being slightly OCD, it has always bothered me but man was it done a lot! Good choice for he shield name JB. Football shield. I'm not sure what Camillus called that one but I think I'll go with football!
