The Catholic mass is NOT based on the Bible, being "the central act of worship of the Roman Catholic church, which culminates in celebration of the sacrament of the Eucharist (or ceremony with the bread and wine). The term mass is derived from the ecclesiastical Latin formula (and NOT from the Bible) for the dismissal of the congregation: Ite, missa est (“Go, it is the sending [dismissal]”)."
Jesus did NOT establish "mass", of "two principle rites: the liturgy of the Word and the liturgy of the Eucharist", whereby "the first includes readings from Scripture, the homily (sermon, moral or religious lecture), and intercessory prayer."
"The second includes the offering and the presentation of bread and wine at the altar, their consecration (or make holy) by the priest (in which in Christianity, there are NO priests (only under the Mosaic Law were there priests, see Heb 7:11, that applied only to Jews, Ex 31:12-17) that serves as priests while in the flesh, for the 144,000 "chosen ones", Matt 24:22, 24, 31, only becomes "kings and priests" upon their death and resurrection as members of God's heavenly Kingdom, see 2 Tim 2:10-12; Rev 5:9, 10) during the eucharistic prayer (or canon of the mass), and the reception of the consecrated elements in Holy Communion".(Encyclopedia Britannica)
Note: the passover was an ANNUAL observance, Ex 12:1-7, as part of the Mosaic Law, picturing Jesus as the "Passover lamb", 1 Cor 5:7, that was then changed into the ANNUAL "memorial of Jesus death", Luke 22;19, 20, when Jesus established the "new covenant for a kingdom" on Nisan 14, 33 C.E., incorporating bread and wine into it as REPRESENTING his body and blood, whereby the bread and wine does NOT transubstantiate or change into Jesus body and blood, for that make a person guilty of "eating blood", requiring they be put to death for violation of God's law on blood.(see Lev 17:10; Acts 15:20, 29)
At Luke 22, here is what Jesus established and told his twelve apostles: "I have greatly desired to eat this Passover (which was an ANNUAL celebration that was combined with the seven day Festival of Unleavened Bread, see Ex 12:14-18; 13:10, and NOT daily or weekly) with you before I suffer; for I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God (or the joy of seeing them again face-to-face, see John 14:3).”
"And accepting a cup, he gave thanks and said: “Take this and pass it from one to the other among yourselves, for I tell you, from now on, I will not drink again from the product of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes (at Armageddon, see Matt 16:27; 25:31-33)." Also, he took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying:
“This means ("means", Greek estin, and NOT "is", see Matt 9:13, where the Catholic Douay Version reads as "meaneth" for the Greek word estin) my body, which is to be given in your behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” Also, he did the same with the cup after they had the evening meal, saying: “This cup means (Greek estin) the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf."(Luke 22:15-20; 2013 New World Translation)
Some 22 years after Jesus death in Nisan 33 C.E., the apostle Paul reaffirmed what Jesus said, how the "memorial of Jesus death" was to be done (simple, with NONE of the "amenities" the Catholic church has created):
"For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night on which he was going to be betrayed took a loaf, and after giving thanks, he broke it and said: “This means ("means", Greek estin, and NOT "is") my body (or bread represents "my body"), which is in your behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.”
"He did the same with the cup also, after they had the evening meal, saying: “This cup means (Greek estin, or represents) the new covenant by virtue of my blood. Keep doing this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this loaf and drink this cup (annually), you keep proclaiming the death of the Lord, until he comes."(1 Cor 11:23-26; 2013 New World Translation)
Of the Catholic church, the Microsoft Encarta Reference Library 2005 says: "Although the Roman Catholic Church holds certain doctrines that distinguish it from other Christian churches, it is most characteristic in the breadth and comprehensiveness (or massive number) of its doctrinal TRADITION (and NOT the Bible, see Isa 29:13; Matt 15:1-9)."
Something to consider: when Noah was told to build an ark for saving of his household before the Global Deluge (Gen 6:13-17; Heb 11:7), Genesis 6:22 says that "Noah did according to all that God commanded him. He did just so" or followed EXACTLY ("exactly", Hebrew ken, meaning "rightly or so, true, correct, surely") what he was told to do, NOT changing anything, even the smallest detail.
At Exodus 25, the account says: "Jehovah (God's name, see Ex 6:3, KJV) then said to Moses........"They are to make a sanctuary for me, and I will reside among them. You are to make it, the tabernacle and all its furnishings, following EXACTLY ("exactly", Hebrew ken, meaning "rightly or so, true, correct") the pattern that I am showing you."(Ex 25:1, 8, 9)

      1. When you need an exorcism, who you gonna call? Authority wise, you're going to call a Catholic priest.
      2. Put the NIV down. It deliberately doesn't translate the word Traditions 4x in the New Testament.
      3. Pick up some John Calvin and Marin Luther, and read their own words. Martin Luther ADDED the word "only" to his translation. Deuteronomy 4:2 anyone? Revelation 22:18-19 much or nah?
      4. Go square protestant writings with the canon of scripture established by the Catholic Church - All 73 books. And square ML and Johnny C with the the previous 1500 years of exegesis from all those religious theologians. On what authority and on whose authority did Martin Luther have to remove 7+ books from the Canon of the Bible?
      5. The God of the Old and New Testament is the same God we have today. And God wants sacrifice as worship. 4 songs and a preacher talking isn't worship. Go read the Gospel of John - not the NIV translation.

I put a lot of effort into being right, bringing forth "the truth" as Jesus told Pilate, who asked Jesus if he was a king: "You yourself are saying that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate sarcastically then said to him: “What is truth ?”, completely shoving aside Jesus truthful words, as you also have done.(John 18:37)
When Jesus resurrected Lazarus, instead of the Jewish religious leaders seeing "the hand of God" in his resurrection, they then said: "What are we to do, for this man performs many signs ? If we let him go on this way, they will all put faith in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation".(John 11:47, 48)
The Jewish religious leaders were more afraid of losing their power over the common Jews instead of doing as some Jews who witnessed Lazarus resurrection, whereby "many of the Jews who had come to Mary and who saw what he (Jesus) did put faith in him."
As a result, Caiaphas the high priest then said: "You do not know anything at all, and you have not reasoned that it is to your benefit for one man to die in behalf of the people rather than for the whole nation to be destroyed." The overwhelming evidence that Jesus was from Jehovah God, did NOT have ANY impact on him nor the rest of the Jewish religious leaders nor most of the Jews, in which the Jewish religious leaders made plans to kill Jesus and Lazarus.(John 11:49, 50, 53:12:10)
So, despite the awe-inspiring evidence that Jesus was Jehovah's "messenger of the covenant" (Mal 3:1), his "servant" (Matt 12:18), his "representative" (John 7:29), having been given the power to resurrect people (John 5:26; 11:25), they refused to recognize Jesus as Jehovah's "personal messenger".(Isa 63:9)
Thus, when bringing forth "the truth", so many will discard it, discredit it, argue against it, as the Jewish religious leaders and most of the Jews did with Jesus, because it "upsets the applecart" of their current beliefs.

A Protestant response. She already was converted. She already had the only conversion that matters. She was converted to Jesus Christ. She went from lost to redeemed. Who cares what particular Christian communion she ends up with. As a redeemed person she already was fully u used to Christ and His church. This is just an exercise in gloating and triumphalism.

A dogma states that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church. All other denominations have rejected some part of the Truth.

Who cares? Jesus died because He spoke the Truth and got crucified for it, so Jesus cares for you to get the Truth and live by it. Only from the Catholic Church which Jesus Himself built will you get all the necessary sacraments and the fullness of Truth for salvation. Don’t stand outside the Church and judge and condemn. Instead, have you ever tried attending Mass or ever honestly had an open heart and mind to learn what the early church fathers taught and believed? Also check out the Catechism of the Catholic Church where you’ll find the essential and fundamental content of the Catholic faith in a complete and summary way. It presents what Catholics throughout the world believe in common.
