    Beautiful testimony! I too am a revert from nearly 30 years as a Protestant. I came home from a 6-month Afghanistan deployment to my wife and 4 kids who said, “Welcome home, we’re Catholic!” I was upset! So on my journey to disprove Catholicism biblically, the Holy Spirit led me home and I was confirmed in 2024.
    Diane’s fervor is exactly how I felt and still feel. I’ve been told, indirectly, too to tone it down among other Catholics. But yet I find the Holy Spirit beginning to start little sparks in their walk and searching out the what and why of our Catholic faith.
    Thank you for your ministry channel and allowing Diane to express her “fervor in love” testimony. Praise God and Glory to His name!

    I am relate. My husband and I were married before the judge for 25 years now. I go to church on Sundays but sad that I cannot receive the Holy Eucharist yet. Please pray for me and my husband that we will get to be married soon in the church. As I am working overseas. 🙏

      Yes, I will pray for you! Don't hesitate to reach out a deacon or priest to help you with getting back to the Eucharist. So important to have that sacrament. God bless you!

    I agree that Catholics keep their faith way too close to their hearts. The devout people around me trusted their prayers will bring me back, I guess they were right but it took me 20 years. I’m now trying to convince my nieces and nephews to not waste so much time like I did. Funny enough now I’ve become one of those family members that are constantly praying a rosary for their family members away from the church.

      I don't think it helped that our only previous "Catholic" president of the USA in the 1960's basically said that he would keep his Catholicism to himself. It sort of became the culture after that.

    Catholic Recon please make Diann Sheets conversion story the gold standard, the model for all future conversion stories. I appreciate Diann Sheets conversion story more than you can imagine. Her witness for the Catholic faith, her enthusiasm was infectious. Plus she is so articulate she is captivating.
    Unfortunately most people don’t and it becomes their protestant story with their Catholic conversion a footnote.
    As a result of listening to Diann I’m going to start wearing my Catholic original, established 33AD hat with the Fish/Ichthys symbol with IXOYE across the body embroidered on on the front of my ball cap all the time. Thank you Diann Sheets and Catholic Recon.

    Welcome back sister in Christ. And yes, it’s so sad that Catholics are so ill learned about our history. I was one like that but I didn’t have to prove anything until I moved to a Protestant country and being challenged and there after some happenings I study together with my husband and we didn’t realize how ignorant we were and now we just fall in love with out history!! And the Creator and founder of the only universal church.

    This testimony of this catholic sister is some what identical to my upbringing as a cradle Catholic but there’s a Hugh difference between the years I spent away from the Catholic Church for over 30 plus years and all of those years I can testify that i served Satan for all those years doing every kind of sins that one can imagine in words thoughts and acts,and having said that after thirty plus years of being a devil it happened one day that this indescribable force and POWER OF PURITY PERFECTION CLEANNESS AND INNOCENCE DOMINATED ME IN A SECOND and after that instant I was help to return to the Catholic Church of my youth which is the traditional Catholic MASS AND TRADITIONAL TEACHINGS AND IM STILL GOING THROUGH IT AND I PRAY AND HOPE THAT JESUS CHRIST WILL HAVE IT CONTINUE UNTILL THE END OF TIME AMEN AMEN AMEN 🙏 DEO GRATIS HOSANNA IN EXCELSIS DEO GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO ALLELUIA 🐑🕊️✨🔥

    Raised Catholic in Ireland in 70s and 80s, baptised (twice), First Communion, confession, Confirmation, Novenas, Adorations, retreats, was an alter boy for 3 years.
    Anyway, fell away from the Church 25vyears ago after my wife was almost killed in a car crash - I blamed God.
    But, over the past 12 months have begun to return with baby steps and went to Christmas eve mass 5 weeks ago.
    I went to confession a few weeks back and asked the Priest if there are any formalities or courses and he said .. Ah no, just make your Confession and you'll be grand.
    So here I am.

    None of the blue zones are catholic though. There is one evangelical and theism as such is one of the components that shows up in each one.

      One of the first Blue Zones ever identified - Sardinia - is Catholic.

    • @betrion7
      @betrion7 16 днів тому +1

      @@MyAuthenticLifewithKellyWoods The vast majority of the Sardinians are baptized as Roman Catholic, however church attendance is one of the lowest in Italy (21.9%).
      That said, your point still stands - I just wanted to say the concept of blue zones is not bound to Catholicism, as video may have implied (I'm a practicing Catholic btw., but used to look into blue zones quite a bit in the past).

      obviously ,you havent read your BIBLE well enough .The Saints are the clouds of witnesses mentioned in Hebrews 12:1 . There have been thousands if not millions of miracles that have occurred in people's lives thru the intercession of the Saints . Google " Blessed Seelos , Daniel Brooks " .His story is one of the examples and this just happened fairly recent . Rev Brooks was a Non Denom Pastor ,who had 16 surgeries and was relying on hard narcotics to alleviate his pain .He even asked God that he should let him die when he goes to sleep ,as he was sick and tired already of dealing with his constant severely intense pain . Then ,he dreamed of Blessed Seelos ,now St Seelos a holy Priest from New Orleans ,whom he never heard before and didnt know who he was .His story is highly fascinating . I wish I could establish a link here about his extra ordinary miraculous healing ,thru the intercession of this Saint ! I believe its not permitted anymore ,so just Google it !

    Ma'am Pope John Paul kissed the Muslim Koran. As for you Good. You have returned to the Lord. You do not have the understanding of the scriptures just yet. Keep studying and you will find a way to get out safely. You must be born again. That has not happened yet.

      You are so right about the “self-help” syndrome. This was a toxic time for me too. As a young widow with young children, this was a very bad influence on me. I turned away from God for taking my husband away and was led down the self path bringing much confusion and sin into my our lives. I finally came back to the Catholic Church at age 50, but the damage had been done to my family. It’s hard to forgive myself knowing what ignorance of the faith brings, but I try to lead by example now and pray my family back to God. Thank you for bringing up this destructive part of our secular culture

      We Catholics are born again when we are baptized. Diann has been baptized, so she has been born again. Baptism initiates the person into the faith, forgives sins and incorporates the baptized into the Body of Christ. It gives sacramental grace. So, it has happened.

    • @McChurch7
      @McChurch7 2 дні тому

      @RitaGatton One must understand the death burial resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism is understanding that one will die , be buried, and resurrected to Jesus Christ in water, forgiven of sins. Catholic Infants have no understanding, hence , it is an illegitimate baptism. It might have been rain from the sky that fell on the baby. That is not baptism. There is not a single recorded infant baptism in the New Testament. All people submerged into new life had faith, understanding, power, and repentance.
