So, I am looking for a good chair as I face a lot of neck/shoulder pain issues on these so called "ergo chairs". How's this chair for neck & shoulder support.
Both gaming and office chairs have different varieties, just because someone said 'Gaming chaid' or 'office chair' doesn't mean they envelope all chairs on planet of that type. This Green Soul chair has better comfort than the office chair I showed in the video. Don't think gamers nexus had any gaming chair in their video which had a similar shape with fabric covering. Neck + shoulder comfort is pretty good in this, this didn't become the best selling chair with 4.5 star rating on Amazon for no reason.

I have the same chair and it is in warranty, Even after 30 mails, It hasnt been repaired or replaced yet. I hope they at least ship me the parts so that I can repair/replace it by myself.
I'm 5.7-5.8ft. I must have got the S model. I bought the T model now and it is quite uncomfortable. I'm unable to place both my feet on the ground while seated at the lowest chair height. So guys don't make the mistake I made. Go for the model which best suits your height. All other features are going to be the same for both models.

Depends on your size. I did show myself sitting cross legged so you can check how much space is there for that. Still i dont think it will be the most comfortable position for sitting for long time.

While this chair has a good neck support, it's not height adjustable, which I don't consider to be a problem in general, but since your brother has a medical condition, he may require something that's very specific. I think this chair should work well, but if you can go to a store, you can check how different chairs perform specifically for him. Also check out brands like Featherlite, have heard good things about them.
It's good for people without health issues, but if you have something specific that is problematic, then you could consider ergo chairs, even though they don't offer recline functionality, you may find adjustable lumbar support to be better. Check out Featherlite chairs. Even though I am positive that this chair should also be great. Haven't had issue so far related to back/spine.
Check out the seat, where you sit. If it's raised from sides like older model here, it's the older model. The cousin also has horn like accent design on the old model.

There are two place where you screw deer mechanism. 1) One near where you fix hand rest 2) there is a small flat rod To put screw for deer mechanism on small flat rod. I think bolt/screw touch sear or pierce it ? I do not know if this is normal or if I have got a defective product. Need your reply..
Screws don't go through anything, they all of right length and have holes in right places. There may be pleather covering holes in some cases. You can send images to GreenSoul support, they're very responsive.

I think the length of seat could be different, and the T version may offer more leg support (longer leg support area). The upper body design could be shared between two variants. When I ordered, the T variant was only available in Black color, so I didn't research on it further.
About the lumbar support, you're supposed to move it up a bit towards the mid back. That's where your lumbar actually is, and it needs to be curved to maintain proper posture
Yeah, I tried that, didn't work. There needs to be a proper curve instead of a pillow that supports your back (lumbar), but that curve is also very difficult to get right as people have different heights.

@@dushyantsharma8411 Hey, I removed the lumbar cushion within a couple weeks, never really suited my spine's curvature, and thats the problem as everyone's spine is different, it kept causing lower back pain. Also if you are just 6 feet, I would rather recommend the M size instead of the T, the T is more suited for 6'3" and above in my opinion. For my back, I got this really nice thin pillow from a Daiso store, that made it very comfortable. Regardless I make it a constant habit to get up from my seat every 1-2 hrs, walk around. If possible go to stores and try these chairs out before purchasing, will save you a lot of expense plus get the best for your spine, that is most important.
I think only the base height (gas lift) is different, so there shouldn't be a lot of difference, but you can check the dimensions on the website. Your legs may not reach the ground properly if you go with the T version, though I think both chairs should be adjustable enough for a big range of heights.

Can you please do a review of Casa Copenhagen Gaming Chair. Its available on amazon for 25k. It looks very interesting with a foot rest and speakers but there are no videos. Green Soul would have been almost perfect if they added the foot rest.
Dont go for it. It's a cheap product from some unknown Indian brand. Better pick the tried and tested green soul monster series. There's also a pu leather model called green soul fiction which is just 1k more. Easy to clean. Better for dusty environment. If looking for ergonomic chair, then Misura ergonomic is highly recommended.(20k)

GreenSoul is selling the exact same chair as secret lab, check out their vision lineup. Most of the chairs being sold are the same, produced in China, then imported to different countries and sold under different brand names. (except brands like Herman Miller).
@@TechReflex Thank you for your reply. The chair does look the identical yet i believe its quite different. Check out the secretlab 2022 line-up. It has fixed some major issues that i thought were unfixable in a gaming chair. 1. Inbuilt lumber knob: Now we don't need a lumbar pillow or a back support pillow that takes up so much space. 2. Magnetic head rest: Every time you lean back and forward, the head pillow is out of sync from the neck. Kudos to Secretlab for finding a solution for this. 3. The materials used by Secret lab are way more superior. 4. Seat foam: Green-soul has still not switched to cold cure foam and this is the biggest issue. I have used both the initial monster model and the new one. There are some improvements in the new model foam but its still not up to the mark and goes flat. I have replaced the seat many times as the foam goes flat and its not covered in their warranty. You might not have faced the foam issue since you are not over weight.

Yeah, I also meant that to get an idea of the options, I researched a lot before making this video, so I am familiar with most options available. The thing is that there could be something better than this, but in India, the options are not there, and even though there are brands like Featherlite, they're more expensive, and the ergo chairs don't have the recline option that I really need. So even though there could be better chair for 18K, I haven't been able to find one so far.

Yeah, like the whole chair will tilt with the seat. The back rest doesn't freely tilt.
fyi deer mechanism tilts around center as in s version , your feetare not planted always, t version has frog/knee tilt which tilts around knees

About the lumbar support, you're supposed to move it up a bit towards the mid back. That's where your lumbar actually is, and it needs to be curved to maintain proper posture
Yeah, I tried that, didn't work. There needs to be a proper curve instead of a pillow that supports your back (lumbar), but that curve is also very difficult to get right as people have different heights.
@@TechReflex Totally agree, been using this chair for over 3 wks now and the lumbar support no matter where I place it ends up causing some lower back pain. Goin to just remove it and use it. Im 6ft so dont think it can be related to a T sized chair model I am using.

@@dushyantsharma8411 Hey, I removed the lumbar cushion within a couple weeks, never really suited my spine's curvature, and thats the problem as everyone's spine is different, it kept causing lower back pain. Also if you are just 6 feet, I would rather recommend the M size instead of the T, the T is more suited for 6'3" and above in my opinion. For my back, I got this really nice thin pillow from a Daiso store, that made it very comfortable. Regardless I make it a constant habit to get up from my seat every 1-2 hrs, walk around. If possible go to stores and try these chairs out before purchasing, will save you a lot of expense plus get the best for your spine, that is most important.

I think only the base height (gas lift) is different, so there shouldn't be a lot of difference, but you can check the dimensions on the website. Your legs may not reach the ground properly if you go with the T version, though I think both chairs should be adjustable enough for a big range of heights.

@@TheonlyLazyAstronaut I think it should be safe to buy the T version, but as a 174 cm person, I actually really like how low the S version can go, so if you don't want the minimum height to be super low, you can go for the T version. Again, do confirm this from the website, I haven't tried the T version, but this is what I remember about their difference.

Can you please do a review of Casa Copenhagen Gaming Chair. Its available on amazon for 25k. It looks very interesting with a foot rest and speakers but there are no videos. Green Soul would have been almost perfect if they added the foot rest.
Dont go for it.
It's a cheap product from some unknown Indian brand.
Better pick the tried and tested green soul monster series.
There's also a pu leather model called green soul fiction which is just 1k more.
Easy to clean. Better for dusty environment.
If looking for ergonomic chair, then Misura ergonomic is highly recommended.(20k)
@@crczr I need a chair with cold cure foam. green soul has served me well but doesn't meet my requirement. Trying to find a seller who can deliver Secret Lab chair. The latest model is pretty damn good.
GreenSoul is selling the exact same chair as secret lab, check out their vision lineup. Most of the chairs being sold are the same, produced in China, then imported to different countries and sold under different brand names. (except brands like Herman Miller).
@@TechReflex Thank you for your reply. The chair does look the identical yet i believe its quite different. Check out the secretlab 2022 line-up. It has fixed some major issues that i thought were unfixable in a gaming chair. 1. Inbuilt lumber knob: Now we don't need a lumbar pillow or a back support pillow that takes up so much space. 2. Magnetic head rest: Every time you lean back and forward, the head pillow is out of sync from the neck. Kudos to Secretlab for finding a solution for this. 3. The materials used by Secret lab are way more superior. 4. Seat foam: Green-soul has still not switched to cold cure foam and this is the biggest issue. I have used both the initial monster model and the new one. There are some improvements in the new model foam but its still not up to the mark and goes flat. I have replaced the seat many times as the foam goes flat and its not covered in their warranty. You might not have faced the foam issue since you are not over weight.

Yeah, I also meant that to get an idea of the options, I researched a lot before making this video, so I am familiar with most options available. The thing is that there could be something better than this, but in India, the options are not there, and even though there are brands like Featherlite, they're more expensive, and the ergo chairs don't have the recline option that I really need. So even though there could be better chair for 18K, I haven't been able to find one so far.

If you keep the tilt mechanism unlocked, it does make noise as you rock back and forth, but with it locked, it doesn't.

Depends on your height, for my 5'9" height, without the lumbar pillow there's full thigh support, I've showed it in video.
