@@number660 That is so true, sadly. Even though I wish they made something like Hell Chose Me again I still love the new Carnifex. Symphonic/Blackened Deathcore is the way to go for them, they are just better at it than any other band I've heard so far.
They are like the only band that made the "right" decision.

From 2:55 to 3:32 is such a beautiful masterpiece, his two screams in the beginning, the solo, the way it transitions out. Truly a beautiful and badass piece of art in metal in awhile
This is still one of my favorite metal songs of all time. I would absolutely love to hear an entire album of these guys working together.

I haven't listened to Carnifex is a minute, but it just sounds like more of the same. Not saying it's not freaking awesome, but we've heard this song from them and countless other bands over the years. It's sad to see a band fail to evolve and try something more creative. I just have a love hate relationship with this genre.

I'm very proud of Carnifex, I've been around since the beginning since Slit Wrist Savior, I first met the band in August 2008 in Seattle at Studio 7 when I was 17. They have evolved. They deserve what success they have, because they have worked very hard to get where they are today.

This band is extremely powerful. Every word, chord and beat is so so so thick and rough. I love it. I dont use to listen to the entire album of a band but with these guys I just play all the albums non stop once and again. My new favourite metal band.

( In my opinion) This song just goes to show why Carnifex will always be one of the pioneers of Deathcore, not to mention it also shows that adding melody to something that is immensely dark and heavy as fuck can elevate it even higher than anticipated! Its been amazing watching this band grow over a decade! With every release they just keep getting better and keep setting the bar higher and higher!!
I use to love carnifex back when ”lie to my face” was there most popular song a fell off of that scene and went to more traditional extreme metal. 10 years later I go to see if there still around and I’m seriously impressed with how these guys came along.
