I got suckered into inviting a LeafFilter salesperson to my home a few months ago after seeing a demo of their product at a flea market. Should have known it was going to be a scam when the lady calling to set up the appointment asked several times "and will your wife also be there?". This is a clear red flag that it will be a drawn out, high-pressure sales tactic. Guy spend 2 hours at my house before giving me an exorbitant starting price ($8000), but since a big sales push was coming if I ordered today it would be only $4500! . Bunch of bullshit. Hate companies that sell like this. Then got another quote for similar product for $1500.

I started installing gutter guards because of this company. My parents got quoted several thousand and I thought "For gutter guards? Why? I'll look into this and see what the deal is." - Sure enough I saw it was a total rip off. I got the same exact material at Home Depot for under $450 and was able to install it in a little over 3 hours by myself.
Then I did more research and saw even legitimate companies in my area regularly charge north of $10 per linear foot of gutter, typically about $12.50 on average. I've been charging $6.50 per linear foot, the material only costs me $1 per linear foot so I still make a killing. I've been making more money installing gutter guards on the weekend than I do from my 9-5.

LEAF FILTER has become a painful nightmare to me and my wife. After we paid quiet a large amount for their supposed professional services, our back porch roof in no longer water tight and they would NOT answer our calls at all. We told the contractor NOT to climb on the back porch as it is not safe for walking on it, but nevertheless they still did against our order. Now every time it rains, water flows all over the interior of our enclosed porch. BAD company to do business with, stay away from such a SCAM. Leaf Filter is a nothing but a bunch a liars joint together to still your money. 11/03/2020

I just had a free consultation yesterday. They put on the hard sell. Price went from about $6k down to just over $4k just from me saying I'll need to talk it over with my wife. Paying cash/check discount, letting them put up a sign discount, they will use leftover commercial rate guards discount etc. I still held my position because I really have not yet done my research on the competition. I am happy you have this video out there for the world be get a bit more informed. TY.

LeafFilter will do whatever it takes to not honor their warranty. Leaves sit on top of the screens and prevent water from flowing to downspouts. The warranty only applies if leaves get into gutters and clog them from the inside. The product ultimately doesn’t work and the warranty is designed to protect the company from providing service to the faulty product after it’s sold to customers.

I sold for Leaf Filter for 7 days and then quit...Even though I was desperate for a job...I quit because I did my researched and I could not stomach the price per foot I was having to sell for...In that week I sold 5 jobs...When I quit I went and started my own gutter guard company and sold for almost a third of what Leaf Filter costs and with a comparable product. Thanks for exposing these crooks!

    Amazing !!!
Stopped at the LifeFilter booth art the Big E ( A Large State fair in my area ).
After a quick rundown of their product I was told if I had them out for an estimate the estimate would be good for one year giving me time to decide.
The day after my visit ti the fair I received a call to set up an appointment for the estimate.
After measuring, the total linear footage of my house at 150 linear feet, I was quoted a price of just over $6,900.
I showed the rep paper work a friend had from a LeafFitter install at her Condo two years ago. (2022).
He looked over her paperwork and said "Let me see what I can do".
After re crunching the3 numbers he gave me a quote of just over $4900, But said at his price I cant guarantee it for a year as it is literally $100 over cost.
I thanked him for the new quote and explained that I would not be financially able to have the install for a few months and I would get back to him when I was ready.
He stated again that the $4900 quote may not be good at that time and it would likely cost me more if I waited and offered a finance plan.
I explained again that I would have to wait and he left.
The next day I received a text from LeafFilter with a one day "you have to text back "yes" today to get this price" which was just over $2900.
That text made up my mind, there was no way I would do business with any company with this level of integrity.
    WOULD YOU ?
    I hope not

Wish I had seen this a month ago, we just paid leaf filter $6800 for 200 ft, $34/ft, he started out at $9500. We are retired and the salesman was slick, even asks us to buy his dinner as he wasn't making anything off this sale, we gave him $40. We feel like fools. Have the same feeling as coming home to find you have been burglarized. They have been sending emails asking for review, I left them a bad one.

I am a senior and just had a Leaf Filter rep visit my house this morning after getting their flyer in the mail. Lady was very friendly, extremely talkative, and persuasive. She showed me lots of samples from other companies and it was quite a convincing tactic. I'd say she spent at least an hour here, measuring, taking pics, etc. and when she was finished, the sales pitch started. My eyes almost fell out of my head as she gave me 2 quotes, one for a 'full' replacement, installation, and Filter Guards, and a second for some 'repairs to my existing gutters, new downspouts, and Filter Guards. Full: $13,486 -- discounted down to $9,359 and the Partial: $10,136-- discounted to $6,900. These discounts were only good for ONE day. I told her I'd discuss the prices with my partner and she immediately called her office to speak to the 'boss' to get his approval. Needless to say, we will be shopping elsewhere.

OMG! I'm a senior with a house surrounded by trees. I have a gutter guy twice a year to clean the gutters for about $40 a visit. I'm so glad I did a little research on the internet today. Leaf Filter is supposed to be at my house at 7:00PM tonight! Using a round number of $6000 I could have my gutters cleaned twice a year for 75 years before I would break even. Doubt LeafFilter even lasts that long in the brutal weather here in Colorado... Don't need the headache so I just called and cancelled. Thank You!

My mom called them. The woman on the phone asked when a good time would be when she and her spouse would be home. My mother was offended that they mentioned that her spouse needed to be there and hung up. My dad recently passed away, and the spouse thing was just insulting to anyone who doesn't have one for whatever reason. She immediately thought - would they say that to a man? She called me and told me what happened, and I told her that's a signal for a high pressure sales pitch. After watching this video, and reading the comments, I'm grateful my mom is smart and hung up.

I just had a rep from LeafFilter come to my home and was adamant about coming inside my house (red flag #1 and I did not let him in). I have 98' of gutter. First price quoted (#2) was $4400. When he looked at my shocked expression, second quote (#3) was $3900. When he realized he was losing his sales pitch, he offered to call the "commercial department" to see if they had any leftover product. Some random person answered the phone. He put this person on speaker and allowed my the honor of listening in on their "conversation". He told the person on the line that he needed 98' of product. The response was, "...she's in luck! I have exactly 102' right here!" The final offer (#4) was $2400! He was visibly upset when I did not jump on the offer (#5). I am completely turned off from purchasing from this company.

I used to install for Leaf Filter for about 6 months. It would make me sick when I had to collect the check and the customer was paying $6-$10,000 for gutter guards (on old crappy gutters) and then us, the installers, get $1 per foot. They also keep $1500 of MY money in case they have to go back to fix THEIR product. I did notice all the customers were older wealthy people who didn't know much about what they were buying. Cant wait to see them get shut down. SO OVERPRICED

Talked with leaffilter and should have watched this first. I should have known something was wrong when they wanted me and my wife there (all hard pitches want both people, easier to sell). I'm a materials engineer by trade and when I asked why they chose PVC in New England instead of Al for their system he said due to thermal expansion??? That shouldn't be an issue if properly installed. Thin PVC doesn't last long in New England with all the thermal cycling. When I told him this and my profession he got defensive and tried to say I was wrong and didn't know what I'm talking about. I literally test PVC components in New England conditions. Then for a 50sq single story gutter replace with guards quoted 5600, that price dropped to 4200 after a "call" to the boss. Then later in the day to 3500 and 3 days later a text that dropped it to 3000. Sorry if you drop the price by almost half in 4 days time you are ripping people off. Their tech is sound, but they went cheap on materials and a heavy sales pitch.

Dmitry thank you for an excellent video. My husband called Leaf Filter when we noticed our gutters needed repair. I think he probably put gutter repair into goggle and the first thing that came up was leaf Filter. I had not heard of the company but he had already agreed to have someone come out for an estimate. A nice woman came out and spent three hours in our home. Unfortunately just before she got here we had heard some devastating news and probably have just canceled the appointment. My husband is 75 and I am 83. We live in an upscale neighborhood and are very aware that prices go up when contractors drive through the gates, On that day, we were not as focused as we should have been. Long story short, we got an estimate of $18,000. our home is 5600 square feet on a rather steep incline. I was applied at the price but since we have been making lots of improvements expected it to be high. I objected loudly to this quote and was offered several discounts that got the final, one day only price down to $14,00o plus. We were concerned about the safely and longevity of our home, felt the saleswoman was forthcoming and honest and agreed to the install. A few days later, I received a voice message from the installer. He said it would take two days to install based on the size of our home. We agreed on the date. The day before the install date, I had not heard back from the contractor. I found it strange because all the other workmen and companies we have done business with always give us a confirmation cal the day before, sometimes more than once. The day arrived and had been scheduled for hours 9am. By 930, no one had arrived or called. I looked up the number and called the contractor. No answer. I left a voice message. A few minutes later he called and said his installer, “singular’, had locked his keys in his car and was waiting for a locksmith. H e said it would be another hour before he arrived. I at 11am there still was no installer or any messages. I called again and there was no answer. My husband then took over and he called the main corporate office in Ohio. He talked to the receptionist and she said she would call the installer and my husband should get a call back between 2 and 5 minutes. There was never a call back. In the meantime, I got on google nd started reading all kinds of complaints and problems about Leaf Filter. I was disappointed in myself for not goggling in the first place. I always do but I was distracted and vulnerable that day and was taken advantage of. We called corporate again, who had the original order and canceled it. An hour later the guards at our entrance gate let the installers in. They came to our driveway and my husband met them and told them we canceled the install. There were two men, both smoking, in red bandanas wearing nail polish on their fingers. They drove a battered mini wagon with a ladder on top. I don’t know where they could have put any equipment in that car. My husband said he thinks they were high. He also said the man that he talked to at corporate was drunk and slurring his words. I feel we are lucky all this happened and has made us even more cautious. we have decided against any kind of leaf guard system. We live in a heavily forested area in western Washington. Rain is constant and we also get ice and snow. We don’t need to borrow trouble. Now we are on the lookout for someone to just repair our gutters period.

Just one observation: You say seniors are more likely to be gullible and accepting. This may be true, but in my experience the older I get, the more skeptical of everything I have become. Live and learn... The more experience you have with salespeople of all sorts, the greater your chances of having been taken advantage of. This tends to make you wary of all "dog and pony shows." My elderly mother in NH was recently scammed by this LeafFilter company and she is still trying to get them to abide by their money back guarantee and it's been almost a year. These filters were not compatible with her high-end lifetime gutters which she expressed concerned to the salesman about and he convinced her these filters would fit. Since the installation, the filters have caused water damage to her front door threshold because of water overflowing the front and back edges of the gutters. She tried to get them back to repair the problem which they claimed they would do and never did. They stopped returning her calls, then she started calling the corporate office. The corporate office gives us a job # that someone will be coming to remove the filters and give her a full refund on such-n-such date and then they either call to postpone the date or just don't show up. The corporate office will appear quite accommodating, but then my mother gets harassing calls from the local installers that refuse to follow through. This experience has been highly stressful and upsetting to her; especially because she feels harassed by them and, of course, because it cost her over $5000.

Had Leaf Filters in yesterday. For a 170 linear ft gutter on a single story building they initially quoted $8,375. I told him that was amazing at $49.26 per linear ft he cut the price almost in half at $4,600. Sent him out the door as that was still $26 a linear ft. Crazy pricing. I have already found a replacement product that the purchase price is $3 a linear ft. Now just need an installer or DIY. Anytime they start up with that sales pitch BS send them on their way. You don't have to be rude just tell them thanks but no and excuse me we are done please leave. He was here 10 mins.

Basically straight across my 50ft porch, and across my back porch and another section straight across the back of my den, i think it was 5 or 6 downspouts for them. He quoted me 3600$ , but "today only" 2400$ . Just the gutters, then quoted me 2800$ for the leaf filters alone. I had a LeafFilter sales rep out because I just wanted a quote because I'm just starting to look for a solution. The price for 150ft of gutters was $6000+. After the 15% discount was ~$5000. I told him I wasn't ready to make a decision yet. He then tells me a sob story about not having any work for his workers. Then asks me what I would pay right now. I said $2000. He said he couldn't do that but could to $2700. Also told me he doesn't get paid unless it was $3900+. I still declined, because if you're going to practically halve your original estimate you can't be trusted. If he originally quoted the $2700 I would have actually done it. But the pushy tactics killed it for me. It may be a decent product, but the way they sell it is losing business. Just quote a good price, don't push and be honest. It really isn't that hard.

I did have leaf filter installed, gutters and guards and with a hip roof I have around 200 feet of gutter. They started out at 15,000 and then added on their discounts and it came to just under 11,000. When I said that I would just buy gutters someplace beause they did need replacing and pay somebody to clean the gutters, he went down to 6000, almost half. They sub contract installers and the installers did a good job but have no idea what the salesman promised. The installers didn't caulk the old holes before installing new gutters and they didn't install the flip-up ends, installers didn't know anything about it and only put on 2' run off gutter from the downspout. I didn't want the run off that close to my foundation. They didn't answer my emails. I just bought my own run off gutter and flip-up brackets and did it myself. All in all I'm not disappopinted. I had gotten previous estimates for just gutters at 4500 so didn't think the 6000 was that bad for everything but the salesman are high pressure. I bought on a Wednesday night and the installer came out on Friday afternoon.

I told him no way, but still continued his sales pitch, so being a retired police officer, which I didn't tell him in the beginning, and refusing to leave until I made a commitment, I read the riot act and the city ordinances about pushy salesperson's he finally packed up his briefcase and left. If anyone cannot get rid of a salesperson, just tell them that you'll call the police and see how fast they pack up. Leaf Guard rep was at my house today. Didn't leave an estimate. Only showed me estimate on laptop. Two local installers left me an estimate of 2500-3000. Leafgaurd was 13,000. After I said I'll think about it, the rep called someone on phone. Got dropped to 9900. I have a one story ranch style house. I can clean the gutters myself for that price. Plus dropping the price that much, I know they are overpriced to begin with. Just my opinion.

My father just had Leaf Filter do a job for him. They quoted him 18k with a 20% discount plus 10% senior citizens discount to bring it down to 13k. Our house is only just over 1700 sq ft. Salesman said the total length of gutters with downspouts came to 255 ft. I wish i had seen this first. I told him that they're preying on the elderly and that my father wasn't paying 13k for no damn gutters! Plus the house is in my name and i told him i would never of approved such an outrageous price. My poor 75yr old father feels taken advantage of and ashamed. Heck their corporate site says the approx cost to install the gutters he got for a 2300 sq ft house should cost between $1300-$2800. When i brought this up with the salesman he got quiet, just like he was when i told him you never got approval from me who owns the house.

At age 88 I got taken advantage of by a slick talking salesman who confused me by discussing several kinds of leaf filter and screen installations on my house. He then scribbled a hardly readable work order and greatly lowered his very high first offer. I thought I was getting about 50 ft. More installation than was actually scheduled. People my age are often easily mislead by unethical companies and salesmen. This company should be investigated and penalized for their dishonorable procedures.

I did the best I could, and from the company they had bought me a ladder to use well now I didn’t take their field manager position and found another job they are threatening with calling the police on me, I’m just disgusted right now with Leaf Filter and how they run the business!! they make it so you can’t look at your own product after it’s installed or voids the warranty so that way if the installer does a Crab job, nobody never knows you’re not allowed to touch or remove a panel without forwarding the warranty, which is a little ridiculous I think

Initially we agreed but after I did some research and looked at reviews I was shocked 9 out of 10 reviews were negative. We cancelled the next day. My quick view is the Leaf Filter product is pretty good but you should negotiate hard (I would suggest offering 1/2 the lowest price they quote). The problem is the slick brochure shows cleaning and sealing, but the contract only says installation. If you work with them make sure the things you want -- like cleaning and sealing -- are stated specifically in the contract.

Just experienced a high pressure sales pitch from LeafGuard. He originally quoted at $14,000 and said he could knock off $792. I have a simple rectangle house hip roof and attached rectangle garage hip roof totaling about 220 feet of gutter and 7 downspouts. Then said he could call a manager to get it down to $9800. Then starting asking me to name my price. I said $6000 is too high for me. He brought it down to $8000 with manager and then the manager said that his salesman probably will not get paid at $8000. Then I had LeafFilter come over and they quoted me $9753 for both gutter and guard. I said i just want the guard and he brought it down to $7800, then $6200, then $48000, then $4200 before he left.... and I just goat a text from manager that they can do it for $3263. Still not comfortable with any of these and still undecided. Now Looking at RainDrop for $2000 installed.

When I called leafilter I just wanted an estimate and some advice. I am doing 3-4 home projects and leaf filter was the first person I had come out and I had no idea I wasn’t just gonna get a quote. The young dude came inside and presented a whole set up and I gave me the pitch. He started at 8900 then he had a coupon and got it down to 5800 then he asked me to name a price and i said IDK maybe 3k and after a call the the warehouse manager they had some open boxes they could sell me and the price would be 3100 but it the “deal” was only for today. I just told him yea I just wanted a quote and would not make a decision right then I needed to sit on it overnight. He finally left agreeing to allow the night to think on it. It took me about 5 minutes on UA-cam to see what a slimy bunch of shitheels this company is. It was a good lesson learned and plus the salesman only succeeded in opening my eyes to the fact that what I really needed was all new gutters!! I’m having them installed next week for around 2k with an improved design and a bigger gutter. I have sagging 4” gutters that leaf guard was happy to bracket up and slap their overpriced product on. Great video your advice and the comment section in your first video about LG told me all I needed to know.

She didn’t have the money to pay for these gutters, so he talked her into signing up to their finance company. Now it’s been a year and they want a bunch more money that she doesn’t have.
I got as many quotes to do this small job. Some of them were shocked at what a horrible job that leaffilter did with the installation. With “premium” gutters and guards, the highest quote provided was under $2,000.00 dollars. Leaffilter wants her to pay $8,000.00.

They got a good review at Architectural Digest and seems the consensus is it is a good product but they will try to take you to the cleaners by starting with ridiculous quotes and working their way down to find the maximum you are willing to pay. I just got a quote for about 63' of 6" gutters and filter for $3,700, including one downspout but utilizing the existing one on 2 runs (including 43'). I got another quote from a local construction company for $2,360, 6", with 3 downspouts (they recommended putting them at both ends of the 43' run), but this was an aluminum guard with larger holes (not micro-mesh). I'm willing to pay more for a better product, but worried I could have gotten a better price if the salesman had called for leftovers or approval....
    Any thoughts on:
    1) keeping old downspouts (from 5" gutters)?
    2) having a single downspout on a 43' run - the roof is about 27' wide?
(this run got dented by a falling branch about 15' from the downspout. During one downpour I had to empty an 18 gallon bucket 10 times.)
    3) LeafFilter price of $3,700 for 63' of 6' gutters & filter with 1 downspout?
    Thank you!

On day 3 I called to cancel just before 8pm. That was quick and easy after I chose the "urgent" matter option. Twenty minutes later the salesman called back, asked what happened. Explained that I had 3 quotes, the highest of which was $2,360. So he matched, even beat it at $2,300. Maybe it helped that raccoons had chewed through my roof and the insurance wasn't covering everything and that my garage door was broken, so he knew I wasn't going to shell out more money than necessary. Also it's early in the season in Michigan (it snowed last weekend) so his options were likely me or nothing, not someone else who'd pay through the nose.
The day before the install I called again to confirm the date and price. The 800 number didn't know of the discount but said they would contact the local office. The next morning (install day!) I called again (same answer) and just before I could call the salesman, the local manager called to confirm the price (and emailed me a confirmation).
Two professional installers came yesterday and got the job done in a few hours. Today I was charged $2,300 as re-negotiated. (Minor irrelevant quibble: they said I wouldn't be charged for 48 hours, but it's the same credit card cycle either way and I'll pay it off in ~1.5 months).
This weekend we're due for perhaps 1" of rain, so we'll see how it works.

I called him and told him that it was too much MONEY and that we were going to cancel the contract and he said that there was no problem with that and that we weren't obligated to sign up. He sent us a confirmation that he had cancel the contract. After the cancelation he offered us for future reference of $2,000 dollars off.

They had a sub contractor position and I just did a training session today for them and left after hr. Told them it wasnt for me. Guy training me said I will have to rip people of to work here or it wasnt for me, because lot of times price of installation would be more than what the sales person quoted them and i shouldnt bring it up until all the installation was done, because they might cancel it. Job was for old lady and her gutters were in good condition, because she had them done last year. If you want guards installed, its better to have some independent contractor do it, becasue leaf filter is over priced and money goes through lot of people above the installer, who ends up getting paid around 200-300.

I’m a year late for this video but I just had a salesmen to my home
Price started at $5880 than after the veterans discount went to $5440 right away. I told him I’d have to think about it than he gave me a “24 hour only” price of $4500 when I said I’d have to get some more quotes. I still said I need more quotes. On his way out he called his manager and the price came down to $3,000 if I accepted right then, I said I still need to compose other prices. He went on his way an texted me about an hour later with a price of $1770.
It’s insane that he was “able to find” $4k in savings there.

that's not $4000 in savings, it's a $4000 markup. Start high, and drop to see where they'll buy. Wham bam thank you ma'am.

Anytime you have a representative from a company enter your home to give you a “free” estimate, expect the sales representative to ask for the sale. It’s up to you to decide if it’s right for you. If you expect a retail experience (without any pressure); go to Home Depot or Lowe’s.
The reason why both decision makers ought to be there is for everyone to see and hear the information first hand… not retold by the other spouse who misses many details because they’re probably aren’t as familiar with the product like the company’s representative.

There’s no way you’re recommending LeafGuard over LeafFilter. LeafGuard quotes anywhere between $90-$120/ft. Water pours over the reverse curve tension and debris clogs them. Saw a quote of $28,520 for 248 linear feet!

I had the opposite experience with LeafGuard.....After a 45-50 min session, the saleman came with an $18,000 price tag for a 165 linear feet of gutter....I responded...No Thanks. He then started adding discounts and came down to $14,000...I responded...No thanks. He then called his manager, and came back with a $13,500 quote...I responded...No thanks....And then, the saleman asked, "how much would you pay ?"..... If this isn't the same technique as a used car salesman. This salesmanship is insulting and pure BS no matter whether the product is good or not. I thanked him and asked him to leave after each quote, and FINALLY I told him, Please leave and he did.
Leaf Filter guy came and said I'm not putting you through all the BS the company wants. He measured, wrote a quote, said it was good for a year and was done in 20 minutes.

    Better call Saul.
I did not meet the salesmen but my elderly mother made a call to this company and two sales guys came to her home at 7 PM. While she told me how nice they were and how impressed she was with the leaf filter product, I am upset that they were relentless in trying to tell her she needed new gutters and downspouts and upsetting her in similar other items she absolutely did NOT need. She moved into the house just a few months ago and the house was inspected. The roof had been replaced less than 5 years ago and another gutter guard is on the gutters. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the roof or the gutters and downspouts. She just wanted a quote for the filters. Luckily, she called me to get my opinion. She said the product looked really good (I'm sure it is), and that they would replace the gutters, downpouts, etc. and were giving her 2 discounts, one of which was a senior discount of $5,000. I asked her what the bottom line was and she said $12,000. I told her no way, she didn't need all that nor did she need need guards having spent $5,000 just a few weeks ago to have about 7 super tall pine trees cut down that were hanging close to the house. The leaves wouldn't be a big issue any longer. These sales guys pitched their products excessively and needlessly. Furthermore, they told her in order to get the deal, she would have to sign the papers tonight. RED FLAG! They were there from until almost 10:30 PM! TOTALLY unacceptable! She did tell them no and while my mother enjoys company, and "They were really nice men," they aren't there to make friends with my 80-year-old mother. Once she declined, they needed to leave. My mother is no pushover, she is distrustful and has always been very cautious about how she spends her money but these guys were too good at pushing their sales pitch and almost got her to spend $12,000 on unnecessary "upgrades" that she did not need. This infuriates me because I don't care how nice someone is, if they are relentless about trying to upsell an elderly person or anyone for that matter, the word "nice" isn't the adjective I would use to describe them.

Guy quoted me $8k for abt 130ft and just before he left in anger he said $3500. Said he'd do $3500 because he's using his commercial manager status to get there. When I said I had to talk to the Mrs. he scratched out his discounts and said that his price is back to $8k. Also tried shaming me with him having to drive a long ways. Even said he thought we were brothers in arms. Since he claimed to be military as I was. Used military status tactics... I was turned off just by his change in attitude. I also had leaf guard guy finishing up as filter dude was measuring things. He wasn't fond of that either.

He's right Leaf filters nothing but a waste of money in time. My wife and I purchased the filter spent way too much money on it. The reason we went with them was because of the warranty. But 2 1/2 years later we called them up for warranty work to find out their warranty is absolutely useless. Their product was warping, and bending to the point where was no longer even attached to the gutter. We proceeded to call them to find out for them to come out was going to cost us $125 to even look at it. We did get them out here to have the contractor who came out tell us that all the repair he would have to charge us for spite the product being faulty and not holding up to the time and the weather we would have to pay to have it fixed in some spots and replaced in others. The lifetime warranty we purchased was an absolute waste of money.

Well, I can absolutely agree that putting gutter guards on shouldn't cost $6000 or more for the average house with pre-existing gutters in good condition. Even cutting that price in half to $3000 is still ridiculous, regardless how long the warranty is for. For either of those prices it should be a generational warranty (homeowner who purchased it and for who it was passed on to). It would have to be a commercial building for me to charge that much. I clean the gutters, install gutter guards, and clean the downspouts out. For these prices you better be snaking out any underground drainage systems and checking the roof for problems like nails rising up out of the shingles. I cant believe these prices.
For brand new gutters that are seamless and made on sight, plus top of the line guards still should not come anywhere in either of those price ranges. You are all banging heads and taking advantage of everyone regardless of their ages.
Shaking my head at this nonsense.
