This video is epic. I like their interaction so far and I wouldn't mind watching the entire episode with these two just talking to each other. such an amazing actors, both of them.
Absolutely fantastic. I love Heahmunds chastising of Ivar and on a personal level, find Ivars voice so sweet...the better to disarm the enemy with,dear...haha. Really hope theories I'm reading abt Heahmund killing Ivar isn't true. I love their storyline!
Your videos are truly epic and so real! I almost feel like I'm a part of the story that you make a video of, I can feel what the characters feel thanks to your skills. Brilliant! ❤
Good tribute but if u were waiting just till the end of the month when the first half of the season finish then u will have more epic and good scenes between Ivar and Headmund cuz they will fight together in the civil war and also put more in this video and made a better tribute. But also i hope that u will still do it , right ?
Different epic, bro...although Ivar Beinlausi did in fact become a king. He set up his royal seat at Dublin, and was the progenitor of the Ui Ifar, who continued to rule Ireland until William "Long Shanks" Plantagenet invaded.
This all goes to show that people who are bothered by any reference to religion in a TV program probably should not watch Vikings. Aside from the carnage and the hot sex, Vikings is all about religion, or more precisely how the introduction of Christianity shaped and refined the Norse culture and helped it transform from a primitive society of farmers and raiders into a sophisticated and prosperous society based on commerce that freely interacted with other cultures across Europe and in North Africa and Asia. If you don't like it, then go watch something more in keeping with modern secular values like Real Housewives and fuggetaboutit!
Christianity didn’t shape and refine Norse culture at all. They had merchants and traders before that and prospered without preachings of guilt and sin and the degradation of women.
@@-breakofdawn- they had their own concepts regarding guilt and wrongdoing long before Christianity was introduced, and while Northern European culture was less rigidly patriarchial than Mediterranean cultures, women in Norse society weren't quite as exalted as you evidently think they were (in fact, one of the ways the Norse got rich was through selling female slaves from other Germanic tribes to the Byzantines, and even if they weren't captured and enslaved most women lived extremely hard lives...the average life span for a Norse woman was about 40 years, and a Mediterranean woman might live a decade more) However, contact with the Mediterranean introduced more than just material goods and a new religion to Scandinavia in exchange for the aforesaid slaves and a few other commodities the Norse had like amber, furs, eider down and walrus ivory, because it also introduced the Latin alphabet and the concept of recording history and literature in books rather than purely as oral history. As such, the sagas and poems by which we know most of the history of the Norse were written during the later Christian Norse period, which (because it was a period of unprecedented economic growth and upward mobility) also produced supurb art and architecture (including the stave churches that as far as any archeological evidence suggests are the first large buildings North of the Baltic Sea) and Scandinavian women continued to play pretty much the same roles in society as they had before...in fact, the roles of women in European society changed more during the Industrial Revolution than they did when Northern Europe adopted Christianity. If anything, 1000 years of social, cultural, technological, and medical advancement has elevated women OUT of their degradation, rather than caused it....so unless you REALLY think you'd be better off illiterate and living in a thatched hut with no sanitation the way your barbarian ancestors did, you might as well hold your tounge because BOTH the Old Testament and the Havamal say some pretty harsh things about the babbling of fools!
Soon I will upload the Stannis Baratheon tribute. Thank you so much for all your support and love, guys! :D
