I'm doing well! Never got COVID luckily. At the outset of the pandemic when I was working from home I started playing a lot of Factorio, and got addicted to that. So I haven't played much of NS2 at all since then. My fingers also started to hurt when I played FPS games, maybe the start of some form of carpal tunnel, and NS2 was particularly bad.
How did you remove mouth? I really like it but i didn´t found some setting. Could you make video where you will show us how to set: remove mouth and hitsound, please?
Those are called viewmodels, and you can disable them using a mod called NS2+. You can also enable hitsounds with that mod, just be sure to turn up the hitsound volume from the Sounds configuration tab. Nightmare created a video that discusses some of these things: ua-cam.com/video/3JikxvSEQXM/v-deo.html
There are two different ways to get hitsounds. One way is to subscribe and activate a community mod specifically for hitsounds. These are found on the NS2 Steam Workshop page. The second way is to use the all-encompassing mod called NS2+, which has a separate tab for sounds by itself. The NS2+ mod has maybe 3 or 4 different sound types that you can switch between. The key thing, however, with both of these methods is that you're going to need to adjust the hitsound volume from the main sound options tab. I think by default the volume is set to zero, so you can't hear anything even when everything else is configured properly.
Once match 633 comes out, I'll know COVID is over. Hope you're doing well
I hope hes doing well..
