My husky is 3+ months and is a fussy eater, he liked acana grass fed lamb and ate 4 kgs then stopped complete. Then started with simple.chicken and vegetables most of time he will like or dislike. Confusing. Not sure what should I give him..if its home cooked what should be the ratios???

My husky always wants to eat, but I'm unsure of the amount he should have at one feeding. If I give a full bowl of food in the afternoon or evening than I'm running him outside all night long. His stomach is not bothered but he does have to go more often and I get really tired of taking him out at 2 and 4 am. He is now almost 8 months old.
My husky is picky asf and I’m struggling to feed him, he looks for candy from my daughter instead of eating his food 😭😫 or only home cooked meals but it gets so so expensive , really really consider this before getting one 😅

I have a husky whose a little over a year old. He eats twice a day but eats like 4 cups a day and acts as if he's still starving. He seems chunky but you can easily feel his ribs and I think the breeder says his dad was easily 65lbs. He has an okay active lifestyle could use more but work gets in the way. How to increase height and gain for husky
My husky is a very picky eater,
I guess she just gets "bored" of the foods because when I switch her food she'll eat it but she stops eating that kind after a while and will starve herself for a few weeks until I give her something new.
Is there a way to help her eat without costing me $20 a week?
Husky Gamez Try feeding her mince meat :). You can feed a super cheap brand for her, mix in a little bit of her kibble, maybe less than a handful? I'm sure she will love it :D slowly put more meat in it. She will get used to it. Maybe grind chicken wings/legs/quarter's up in a food processor?

I have 11months old Siberian husky, can’t figure what best for him to gain weight or eat more. He only eat cup a day, I can’t he get him to eat two dish a day. I’m thinking about starting him with raw diet. But not sure what kind is best? Vet say his diet not meet his high active he is. Vet want to give different kinda of dry food. we currently feed ours with fresh food but it seems to be unsustainable because he doesn't seem to be gaining any weight despite how much we feed him, he loves the food and never gets stomach problems but hasn't gained any weight.. (and yes we had him treated for worms)
we're considering opting for a mix of fresh food and dried food at the same time and experimented with a brand called "beef pro" but he doesn't seem to like it, we're also considering "taste of the wild" or "royal canin" which we have been able to source (other high quality feeds recommended online have yet to be found where i live..)
which brand would you recommend? between "taste of the wild" and "royal canin", or do you have a different preference? if so pls let me know
I will use Taste of the wild first , but 4800 of Royal Canin is good too .
My husky is 2 years old and has always been a picky eater. I tried numerous brands according to some the "best" and still nothing. In other for him to eat I have to mix wetcan and dry food so he can eat it. At one point I was feeding him raw food, some recipes I saw on a UA-cam video but I stop when my Vet told me not to do so. He said raw food meals cost a fortune and that I didn't want the money I can just give it him. So people dogs get picky when they try other foods so next time your poochie acts like that let him starve and dont feel bad and trust me he will run to his bowl every time he hears you re serving. They are very smart. Don't let him/her give you those puppy eyes they are extremely smart and they know what to do in other to get what they want ..if you husky is acting luke this, he's got you well trained. Dogs can go days without eating. Care for him/her but be firm same as when you walk them. They need to understand you are the leader of the pack not him/her. Unless you wanna be dragged around.😁
Now dont get me wrong I'm not saying dont love your pouch and care for him. Trust me they will come get you when they want something. Read their eyes and body language. It's easy. Well hope my tips help you. But coming back to dry or wet food read the labels and dont feed him anything that has corn, whole wheat flour or rice. Companies nowadays want to replace meats with these cheap items that only get your dog sick. 😎

@@alex_8186 hi Alex he is on instinct original grain free Salmon flavor but to be honest with you..Huskies are picky eaters..when he was little he would eat anything I put on his bowl not anymore. Nowadays if there is no meat like chix breast,salmon,steak he wont eat. One trick you can do buy him a whole chicken cook ir with carrots and celery and save the broth for everytime he eats. Mix some vegies with some chicken along with 1 cup of his dry food and he'll eat it all. Dogs love wet food for some reason. Hope this helps and remember no salt, no oil, no condiments just plain chicken broth. You'll save hundreds of dollars on food and he will love you for it. 👍

@@alex_8186 you bet. Huskies at that age require alot of exercise, they love running so that maybe the reason why he is not eating well. Mine is only eating once a day. He does not wanna eat in the morning he is like 65# you just need to be careful not to over feed him cause overweight is bigger problem. You can also do ground beef or Poached salmon. Whole foods sales frozen salmon like 10 pieces for 20 bucks just thaw it and boil for about 6-7 minutes add some carrots, broccoli or sweet potatoes..save the water and add it to his dry food and let it cool before serving. Salmon must be shredded.
Huskies love Brown rice, green peas. Corn, squash. This meals take about 10 minutes to prepare and 5 to cool down. Stay safe and healthy wherever you are

Orijen is a good brend for the nordic breeds , but be careful of the daily amount of food because it’s very rich in nutriments.

They are not my favorites but if i had to choose , i will take the variety of Salmon for Pro plan , and the 4800 for Royal Canin
Purina chicken jerky might cause kidney problems. Try not to buy food made in china

My 2 mos old husky won't eat his royal canin dry food but will eat liver pork barbecue, shrimps, mussels, and leaching kawali. If he tasted it already he won't eat it the next day! Even if I mix his dry food he will just pick the shrimps and leave the dry food!

Yes but a raw diet can be much more expensive. I opt for a high quality dry dog food. There are brands out there that don't have nasty preservatives in them but do cost money.
