@@TonysTrails I was staying in Ambleside last week and it was pretty dreadful, as usual! Have been staying there for the last 20 years though as convenient, but it’s wonderful when you head out into the fells and leave the noise behind.
@user-dj6gd7jn6f I’m not a fan of any of the towns on Windermere Sally. Of all the towns in the Lakes, I can just about cope with Coniston & Keswick. We went up Wansfell from Ambleside and even all the hills were packed too! Which hills did you get onto?
@@TonysTrails Loughrigg Fell, east side lope of Fairfield Horseshoe, Red Screes, starting on Kirkstone Road. LF and RS were my favourite as I hadn’t done before and there was no one around! Wanted to do your Great Rigg then to Stone Arthur but the weather wasn’t good. You are fortunate to live in /near such a wonderful landscape! Look forward to the next video 👍
@@SallyHutton You were lucky to get Loughrigg to yourself! Shame you didn’t get to do the Great Rigg walk, there are some stunning views. The climb back up to Alcock Tarn near the end is a bit of a sting in the tail though! Glad you’re enjoying our adventures. Happy hiking from Charlie & me.
Thanks for another excellent tour of the stunning scenery. I like to see Charlie having such a great time too.
You’re welcome Cathy. Glad you’re still enjoying them. Charlie has a great time in the hills.
Charlie seems to have recovered well from his surgery. It’s great to see the both of you out on the trails.
Yes, he’s back up and running. Thank you.
That was very enjoyable. Weather held out and allowed for some stunning scenery. Loved it. Many thanks 🙏
Thanks Sally. The scenery was fantastic. Not impressed with the crowds though 😥

Good one Tony, shame about the crowds 😢.
Cheers John. I was expecting there to be a few people around, but was astonished at just how many!
