It’s a Heart catheter/ Port I believe. I bet that was painful pulling out. I also use a CPAP machine. Once you get use to it. You don’t want to sleep without it. I love mine. And if you need one and done use it. That’s bad on your heart. I use mine every night. Even if I take a nap,

In the taking care process don't forget yourself too.All the❤ you guys are receiving is just a return on the output you've provided.Those stockings are a real bear.Use a flexible seamstress cloth measuring tape and measure Buddy's legs at the point of the day when they are most swollen.If they grow he's retaining fluid.🙏💪❤️
@@MsLippy Your very welcome.I figure St.Peter was on duty at the Pearly Gates and saw Buddy was on the guest list.He said "Oh Lordie,I'm not dealing with the wrath of Lippy and put a Sweet Jesus miracle request up the chain of command.Thank God it was granted.Check with the ongoing doc and dietician too.Increasing the garlic and olive oil can help with keeping that plaque down but if you're using blood thinners to prevent future d.v.t.clots it affects the levels.Some thinners require testing more often for i.n.r.levels and some don't.Vitamin K (dark green Veggies) has the opposite affect.

Continuing prayers for all of you. If you have a goodwill store close by run in there for the shirts,wash them up good when you get home. You would be surprised at how many nice shirts you can find. My favorite gardening shirt was almost gauzy thin and I wore that for a gardening shirt and a swimsuit cover for years because it was cool and you could bleach it. Much love to you both tell Buddy not to push it but work hard on his PT it will mean the world in the long run. You don't over do it

You are doing great Ms Lippy. Mr Buddy won't have anything to worry about. FYI in regards to the vein not being a clean harvest. My dad went through the same thing. At the time my sister worked for a Dr. He got on the pH and told my dad's Dr. To turn the vein inside out because the outside of the vein is clean . The Dr did that and it saved my dad's leg. Mr Buddy is young and strong and he has a wonderful caretaker. Praying for quick healing for Mr Bud. and strength for you 🙏🙏🙏 ❤❤

Praise God for a good surgery & that he was merciful with his surgical team. I’ve done the waiting thing with both parents. My mom had 5 bypasses & my dad had four. They both were fine afterwards so I totally understand your worries but I agree with others who are saying not to forget your own care because Mr. Buddy will need you during his after care. Delada. I know that's probably not spelled right. But that's what they gave me a shot of when I fractured my spine in a couple places and broke multiple ribs and processes of the side. It's some nasty pain medicine that usually makes you sick and not wanting to eat. Prayers continued for y'all 🙏❤️

So glad Mr. BUDDY Is doing good. My cpap saved my life back in October, my hemoglobin dropped to 2.2 and the only way I was still getting oxygen to my brain was through my cpap.

Praise the Lord for his mercy too keep Mr. Buddy improving. The gas pain is much worse then any surgery. My husband and I have had Buddy and you in our prayers everyday. Everything sounds good. Care giving is a not our duty but our blessing, I see that in you, and as scary as this all is, Jesus has you both, and we see His glory and mercy in all from, your love, the surgery team and the ICU nurses and their gift’s. Ms Lippy, I've been praying for you and Mr. Buddy and seeing the updates from Ms Wanda. I had to have my first open-heart surgery when I was 38-39yrs old, bad heart valve from apparently having rheumatic fever as a child 🤷🏼♀️. I'm a member of the zipper club and have a metal heart valve, it will eventually need to be replaced sometime after 20-25yrs, we'll see. But the pain medicine was Dilaudid and definitely make sure that if they do keep him on the lasix/Furosemide that they give him potassium. Definitely get him some button up shirts and cut the sleeves off, if it helps him feel comfortable, get them at thrift stores. Please don't let him lift anything heavier than a coffee cup (seriously), cause people don't understand exactly how heavy something's really are until you've been through this, no lifting a gallon milk/water jug. It sounds like Mr. Buddy has a really good team of doctors and you allong with him. Love, virtual hugs and prayers for y'all.❤️🫂🙏🏼

You are doing great Ms Lippy. Mr Buddy won't have anything to worry about. FYI in regards to the vein not being a clean harvest. My dad went through the same thing. At the time my sister worked for a Dr. He got on the pH and told my dad's Dr. To turn the vein inside out because the outside of the vein is clean . The Dr did that and it saved my dad's leg. Mr Buddy is young and strong and he has a wonderful caretaker. Praying for quick healing for Mr Bud. and strength for you 🙏🙏🙏 ❤❤

Prayers for Buddy and you as he recovers. My Dad had a quadruple bypass. He was cracked open. It was a very hard recovery. I am so glad they have improved this surgery. Take good care of yourself.

Praise God for a good surgery & that he was merciful with his surgical team. I’ve done the waiting thing with both parents. My mom had 5 bypasses & my dad had four. They both were fine afterwards so I totally understand your worries but I agree with others who are saying not to forget your own care because Mr. Buddy will need you during his after care. Delada. I know that's probably not spelled right. But that's what they gave me a shot of when I fractured my spine in a couple places and broke multiple ribs and processes of the side. It's some nasty pain medicine that usually makes you sick and not wanting to eat. Prayers continued for y'all 🙏❤️
That is it, and I didn’t like how it made him feel. It’s some heavy medicine ❤️

Oh Miss Lippy, you guy's have really been through it. Joe and I have been praying for Mr Buddy, you, your family and the medical staff. God is so good and He has had His hand on you guy's for sure. This had to be so scary for young Mr Moe . I'm so happy that everything is going so good. Hopefully Mr Buddy will be home soon, surrounded by love and his family. Some of the best medicine. So glad Mr. BUDDY Is doing good. My cpap saved my life back in October, my hemoglobin dropped to 2.2 and the only way I was still getting oxygen to my brain was through my cpap.

Praise the Lord for his mercy too keep Mr. Buddy improving. The gas pain is much worse then any surgery. My husband and I have had Buddy and you in our prayers everyday. Everything sounds good. Continuing prayers and love sent too both of you. I hung on too your package. Will send it when things settle down for you. Please remember too take care of you too. Care giving is a not our duty but our blessing, I see that in you, and as scary as this all is, Jesus has you both, and we see His glory and mercy in all from, your love, the surgery team and the ICU nurses and their gift’s. God is everywhere. In every detail.
Ms Lippy, I've been praying for you and Mr. Buddy and seeing the updates from Ms Wanda. I had to have my first open-heart surgery when I was 38-39yrs old, bad heart valve from apparently having rheumatic fever as a child 🤷🏼♀️. I'm a member of the zipper club and have a metal heart valve, it will eventually need to be replaced sometime after 20-25yrs, we'll see. But the pain medicine was Dilaudid and definitely make sure that if they do keep him on the lasix/Furosemide that they give him potassium. Definitely get him some button up shirts and cut the sleeves off, if it helps him feel comfortable, get them at thrift stores. Please don't let him lift anything heavier than a coffee cup (seriously), cause people don't understand exactly how heavy something's really are until you've been through this, no lifting a gallon milk/water jug. It sounds like Mr. Buddy has a really good team of doctors and you allong with him. Love, virtual hugs and prayers for y'all.❤️🫂🙏🏼

It truly amazes me to read such strength within these comments from you and many others, that life isn’t always a smooth ride; but a ride we are so Blessed to travel with family and friends. It’s the little things in life we all tend to pass by, when the truth is - life can change in a blink of an eye.
