What a laugh. I had a triple bypass in England, UK in 2020. I was never offered any back up visits with anyone. No phone contact with any medical people at all. I phoned my doctor in the local practice and he did not want to know.
Now, 2 years later, I have started doing more exercise, but am still taking the same medication at the same dose that I taken since the heart operation. Thank you NHS in a 3rd world country.

Wesley Medical Center In Wichita KS was terrible. Wouldn’t let me walk in halls, wouldn’t let me walk alone, sent me home with zero instruction and treated me like crap. That was with Blue Cross Blue Shield paying for everything. It was a nightmare.

Its more of for patients who undergo Coronary bypass and have their leg veins harvested. If you have had valve surgery and are able to ambulate you dont need the Ted stockings. also if u had CABG but did not need leg vein harvest u may do away with stockings - ofcourse - walk around as much to negate the possibilty of DVT

I lost more than 7 kilos in 8 months after my open heart surgery. I'm eating well but for some reason my weight is getting smaller. I was 60 kg and now I'm 53. Its really bad.

@@Amine123-g3f yes. Not by much but I'm 52 right now. I'm eating healthy, going to the gym, and doing everything to gain weight but it's hard, of course this is my problem, not everyone is going to get the same symptoms as me. Some will gain weight, some will stay the same. Things can change from person to person.

I have to disagree on some of the food. During the 1st month, you need to avoid any seafood, beef and egg. Stick to chicken and pork.

    • @theshyguitarist

Why? Pork is unfit for human consumption. Even the Bible tells us not to eat pork.

Only post-op thing I still get is asthma like breathlessness(as opposed to exertion breathlessness) at rest, maybe once a week for a couple of hours, sometimes relieved by gentle exercise(walking short distances for eg). (op 2 months ago, quad bypass). ahh..now I should stop adding salt to my lasagna!. Thanks!

She talks about eating properly but shows the usual garbage that people eat because that is what people eat - which has a lot to with why they had to have heart surgery - bacon ?? wtf? that is way over 50% fat and the rest is mostly chemicals and salt. . The man eats an apple without thoroughly washing it - so it has all of the bacteria and virus from all of the people who handled if from the picking of it transporting, packaging, to the produce department. You must clean it right or else peal it - the same applies to all raw fruits and vegetables.
