- With a live rating of 2791, world no.2 Fabiano Caruana has very few holes in his game. He is quite a complete player. He attacks vehemently when needed, plays precise positional chess, and calculates perfectly when needed. How was 18-year-old Pragg going to fare against the fabulous Fabiano? Well check out their first classical game from the semi-finals of the FIDE World Cup 2023 along with the commentary by IM Sagar Shah.

Being pragmatic is indeed fabulous !!!!!!
You include both prag and fabi in one sentence.😂
That's what Pragg would say if he wins.
"Being fabulous is pragmatic"
That's what Fabi would say if he wins😊
@@elimlinrr6898 being fabulous?? That's the byproduct of the personality traits. Being pragmatic is one of the best personality traits. So "being fabulous is pragmatic" is an incorrect sentence.
What a great defence by Pragg with Black. Hope he wins with White today
He drew that match
@@artsofpixel Ya got the news never mind but I hope he wins tommorow in Rapid or Blitz
@@indiafirst3676 let's see tomorrow
Proud of Players Like Pragg!!! 🇮🇳❤👏🏻
This is more thrilling than any cricket match

Agreed. I am glad that chess is getting the attention it deserves lately.
Yeah but for them its super stressing
Only for those who understands and loves chess.
Actually no , but yeah I get your point, for some people it might be and for some it may not.
The fact that Pragg managed to pull a draw in a 4 vs 3 pawn rook endgame against the current world no. 2 while Kasparov had lost while he was the world no.1 is crazy!!!
With help of the computers.
Chess engines bro , players can analyse multiple possibilities with much greater accuracy which is why quality of games are changing rapidly.
@@plendafuture7451 your argument is completely flawed . This means the opponent also does have access to modern tech which makes the game even tougher .
@sherklokholmes-er4mw what was that guy saying anyway? Chess engines?
Prag fought like a warrior for our country 🇮🇳.
Praggnanandha is the Pride of India.
It's so beautiful to see the exchange between the players after the game, it's the best part.
I like seeing them play to the end. There is something poetic about seeing the two Kings face to face , and the two players having a conversation as equals, when all the dust settles.
Great game! Well played by both players 🎉
The god of chess ...champion of all time is playing behind them ❤️🔥🗿💪
REAL GOAT
Sagar Shah amazing commentary he should play world wide!
What an epic game. Best game in the world cup so far. Pragg is an endgame genius just like Magnus
I don’t know anything about chess, but this commentator is fire
India is glowing with its blooming Economy, Space Exploration feats and the shinning Praggnanandha.
Praggnandha bhai plz fight for the finalssss
Plzzz i m praying for u from kerala

Thank you for the commentary. Otherwise we would be left wondering why certain pieces are moved for no reason.
Mark my words one day pragg will take over on this game..!! He is brilliant..!! And where is nihal he is also brilliant
Fabi is the engineer of chess and he looks like an engineer too!
Prag what a star🎉
Nice gesture by Caruana in the end.
The commentator is the Tony Greig of chess!!!
Good game by both players
Awesome plays by pragg 🎉🎉🎉
commentor made the games more interesting
Sir,
Nice commentary on Rook end game ..Great learning
Amazing, Machine vs Computer ❤❤❤❤❤
Pragg, The G.O.A.T🗿🔥
Caruana such a Chad. Instead of repeating moves with the king guarding the pawn into a known draw by repetition he just say F the pawn and moved away from it to end the draw quicker.
One of my favorite commentators. Sagar on top!
The endgame with the commentry is really interesting.I lost so many games being down a pawn,Only because I am impatient and can't play those waiting moves with rook.I always find ways to exchange the rook and lose the pawn endgame.
A simpler solution could be to go in the end game with two extra pawns, to avoid all this. Ofcourse its not entirely in our control to do that. But still an alternate method you can say, for agressive players who dont like those waiting moves
Great resilience by Prqgg❤
Congratulations Prag from Kerala
Very nice.. proud of pragg🇮🇳
Around 20:00 both players' body language showed: disappointment in Caruana, relief in Praghananda
Very interesting comment! As ever! Thanks you.
Wow! The short side defense applied here.
Fabi moving his king away from the pawn at the end reminded me of a King running from battle leaving his last solider.
Wonderful commentry..
28:55 white can make a check mate
wonderful commentary!
Great games😊
Level of commentary 💯💯💯💯💯
Woooww what a game
Superb Prag to play world no. 2
wow never saw pragg so keen
Why fabiano not move the King to d4 at the end of this game where in fact he has a chance to win the game.? I was confused of his move
Me not Undestanding but enjoying.. It lol😂
1/2 half ❤. Eclist Pragg
What an ending...
Great save the game by pregg!!❤
Where to watch next ? Pls tell
Magnus is more interested in pragg's match than his own 😂😂
The person who is giving voice over is the best grandmaster 😂
Yes he knows all the best moves
Great game
Great game...I would love to play online😂
How semi final winner will be decided? I mean how many points or matches win is needed?
Well played both.. but fabi unnecessarily kept on playing .. it isn’t like he was going to win this end game anyways.. he was up against Pragg
So pragg is invincible? Lol
@@rahulkaushik6164 he is not 😂..but he is also not an amateur that will lose rook and rook endgame against fabi 🙄
@@ankursharma683Still fabi had advantage and there is no harm in trying.
@@rahulkaushik6164 yes..now lets see tomorrow in the tiebreaks
Mr. Pragmatic ❤
What a game💪
Newbie to Chess world: Q1 what do they write on the paper during Match?
Q2. In between, when Fabi went and came back, did that time clock stop?
Which Number of Move..
I have a question can any one answer??
In the end game white can make a queen then why it is draw?? 30:11
King takes the pawn
Same question I have...
May be Beautiful of move... Not left
#chessbaseindea
How much time between 2move
I love your commentary 😂❤
Thrill at its best 👌
Good Game.
Can anyone tell me what they r writing on the paper everytime?
Now when is the rematch
why is sagar vai so obsessed with jackets?
its bhai not vai
You can tell its magnus playing behind him just from the way he adjusts all the pieces first lol
if i step off a physical board in an ongoing game, i won't know what move the opponent made when i return 💀
Why fabi lost the math i mean let him self draw? if fabi move the soldier along with the king upto opposite edge he got new pan in exchange right? Why didn't he do it.
well done Pragg.
I love Sagar ❤
Go pragg✌️🔥
Bro it was a winning end game for fabiano
great game i wanted to İndia win i am at the match too if you look closely i am the guy with green back guy
cant believe pragg is 18
No one literally no one,
Me focusing on magnus's game.💓😊
Хорошая партия, учебная.
Is Magnus behind
Why didnt white move soldier at last?
I am new to chess. wanted to ask what are they writing after every move?
Their moves
In this game all steps already know s commentator so he s genius of chess😂
Fake castle by pragg was fabulous 🙄😮🙏
Be like Pragg!
What do they write on the paper 📜 after playing the move
Each player keeps a score sheet where he records all the moves of the game, by both players. From this list of moves, the game between the two players can later be reconstructed/replayed in full, thus it serves as a historical document, but more importantly, with both players keeping track of the development of the game, it prevents claims of cheating, or conflicts over what the position is. At the end of the game both players must turn in to the hosting authority a copy of their signed/certified score sheet, making the record official.
Think of what would happen if both players were not recording the moves and someone accidentally knocks over the board-these things can happen; not all games have video with thousands of observers and tight security around the board. Can each player remember all the moves? Do they both agree what the moves were? What if an unscrupulous player had a losing position and knocked the board over himself, and claimed it was an accident, and then disagreed, on purpose, about the position of the pieces? If there is no record, then how can the organizer / judge decide what is the right position? And if only one player recorded the moves, what keeps him honest but the other player independently recording the moves too?
Of course, in the modern age with computer chess that auto-records and annotates the game and a bewildering number of alternative lines, many games don’t feature players using pen and paper, including lots of blitz or bullet games. Nevertheless the score sheet is an important part of chess and chess history.
R praggnanandhaa 🙏
I have one doubt last move why not save the last pawn...
PRAG LEGEND!!
Why the man took his king back instead of defending the pawn at last
I didn't understand why it was a draw because fabiano could have easily promoted his pawn at the end of the match
Can anyone explain y
Fabiano couldn't have promoted his pawn without it getting captured or stalemate. That's why it's a draw
Since Pragg is his opponent, Caruana cannot do it. He can do it against a weak opponent.
If fabiano tries to push his pawn even further it won't be a check and black king would not have any squares to move.. so that's a stalemate
Hard to believe! Can someone point me to a UA-cam video that demonstrates this?@@dr.pradeepkumar2209
How old he is right now?😮😮😮😮
Whole time I was watching magnus's game behind
21:39 bro resign against Magnus carlsen😂😂😂
Only kings remain..
Fabiano could promote the king why he draw the game
Your title is Great......
what are they writing?
Magnus is in behind screen 😮
Oops prag missed check 25:58
Draaaaaw? Whaaaat?🤔🤔🤔🤔
I want both of them to win😅
