Story 2: OP is in her right to forgive her father, but is very telling that he needed a literal self-harm note to reflect on his behavior. He's not sorry, but the reality of the situation hit him hard. If his daughter died, it'd be on him. If he remained oblivious this, he would have never apologized. Just something to think about.
@Xtreme-qk5qg no, sweetie. These are AI too. You can easily get multiple AI to write specific stories just like these. I even do it for college on ChatGPT.

Story 2 hits so close to home. I befriended a shy girl named Sarah in 6th grade who became like a sister to me. Despite being shy she always made a habit to greet everyone with a warm smile, and with kindness even if they didn’t deserve it from her. Her father however was a massive POS and verbally and mentally abused her daily for most of her life while treating her siblings and half siblings lovingly. Shortly after we started our senior year she had a mental breakdown and took her own life. She had written personal notes for a select few people (myself included, occasionally reread mine and just cry for hours while holding it), and then left a public goodbye note on social media. In her public note she called out a few people for their bullying and abusive behavior but her father was the main person in her post. This man so thoroughly destroyed his own daughter that she took her own life. Yes, some other people also helped push her to this decision but he was the main perpetrator. Turns out she was the product of an affair and not his biological daughter. This monster took all that anger of his wife cheating on him and becoming pregnant with her AP’s baby out on innocent child that had ZERO control over how they were conceived. Some people are just so freaking immature and have zero business being parents or step parents. Like this bastard easily could’ve left his wife to raise her AP’s baby on her own. HE made the conscious decision to stay with her, and help raise the baby… all while doing the world’s worst job with it. My friend would’ve turned 29 this past May, and I miss her more and more each day. She was my platonic soulmate without a doubt.
What happened to the father after she made her post and everything? I need to hear about this pos's karma after reading this. I'm so sorry for what she went through
second story: your father mentally *abused* you your whole life and you think its your fault you had a mental breakdown, and he let you believe that? I am crying right now you poor thing.
Sounds like dad was narcissistic, and seeing her writing about her self-harm was what woke him up. He screwed up. He knew he screwed up and knew that if he didn't fix it, he'd lose everything.
@@nataliereeves3594That doesn’t make sense though given his criticisms of her were suggesting she wasn’t working hard enough and that she was failing to meet expectations. If he thought his daughter couldn’t do anything, he wouldn’t have unrealistically high expectations to begin with, no? My guess is that this story is based in another country or culture where this behavior towards children, perhaps the oldest or daughters, is viewed as normal and acceptable.
Ahh, the old I won't file assault charges because I don't want to ruin the person who assaulted me life. She will absolutely change for the better and never do something like that again.
I really despise those sort of stories. “I’m a victim, but rather than do something about it when I could, I don’t want to because I’d rather be a long suffering martyr. I don’t want to go to the police because they won’t do anything anyway. I don’t want to do the practical thing but want others to bail me out as a result.”
I've heard about that abuse literally alters the brainwaves of the victm. They literally can't think straight enough to know they can escape or even begin to figure out how. So the cycle continues, its awful.

S2: The dad doesn't care even after reading the note. Abusive parents know exactly how they treat their kids and don't care. They don't see kids as their own people but extensions of themselves and they only act guilty if they either get caught or their victim tries to self delete. There's also the sad reality of people pretending to care about mental illness until stuff like this happens. People go from caring to disgusted and ostracize you when you've finally had enough and breakdown. The irony is if they actually cared from the beginning none of this would've happened.
There was a big gap between getting better in the second story and the knife incident. What happened? I had become hooked into these stories, but Ai sucks.
Yeah up until the dad found the letter it was semi believable but Dad finds the note that could be seen as a sue E slide note and he doesn't panic thinking op is going to self delete (I hate that I have to write like this so my post won't be deleted!). Then jump to knife incident and psych ward stay where they are so awesome they almost escaped told in the most emotionless way. And I don't mean the reader, none of the OP's feelings are being told that leads up to the mental breakdown it just happens. Sounds like a tween angst fanfiction. If you're going to blow smoke up my back end at least do it right.
As a survivor of CSA, a 10 year old SA'ing another 10 year old is pretty hard to believe and no one immediately called BS only feds into her delusions Edit: of course, I believe that a child can SA a child as this is what happened to me, I doubt the story because of her ever changing details
I also feel like it’s pretty weird that all of the sudden 30 years later she has PTSD from seeing bad stuff from volunteering, but then she switches her story and says it’s because she got SA’ed like I feel like that isn’t just something that just pops into your mind randomly 30 years after it happens.
last story with the obsessiveness the ex is displaying sounds like she's playing a dangerous game with someone who's clearly unhinged. This is how you end up on the ID channel.

First story. See? I tell people I have cptsd. I also tell people so they know if I feel triggered, I’ll get up and walk away, or if I’m triggered bad, they need to leave.
