Attempted the challenge today. Came up short. Blew by the Frisz Ravine sign. Couldn't find the Red Fox Ravine sign, anywhere. Then started running out of sunlight.

Stairs are usually built to help stop the erosion caused from so many people climbing up a path! Without the stairs we would ruin the landscape and the trail would eventually be closed
Hey guys! This trail looks really cool! I think it is so funny how you don’t like stairs in nature!!! I don’t know if you guys have already been out to Washington state, but if you like hiking then I would definitely recommend taking an assignment out that way there are some amazing trails!!! It's been years since I've been to the Shades! I don't know why Turkey Run is so much more popular. We regularly drive by the Shades to get to Turkey Run... Next time we are going to the Shades!

I did the 6 ravine challenge and it was not 4 1/2 miles it was like 7 1/2
It definitely felt like that to us....but we also took a few wrong turns 😅
