    This is a really great video to illustrate WHY people get black edges with regards to luminance difference when trying to despill and use edge extends, etc. Great video, subscribed!

    Better with a IBK Color as the screen is usually not a constant color. Pretty fun math tricks though. I use this to screen clean rather than build a spill matte. Just curious, would you happen to know what operations I can do to mimic the Alpha/Despill Bias in the Keylight? The bias uses a single color to replace the edge, I would like to setup a system where it can use a image -like the edge blue unpremult.

About the constant vs constant BG color when performing this technique, that is a separate issue as the technique itself stands for either situation. About the bias part, that might be something we can go over in one of the future Tech Corners so stay tuned :)
