    Just a thought, but maybe work on your recording area and clothes a bit. Your style kinda resembles like you volunteered to go to a My Little Pony Prison voluntarily. The camera like it came with the toy. Presentation and first impressions, are more important than delegating.

    Very good, Pedro. Congratulations on the topic you covered in this video. In fact, many times I have felt identified with the situations you mention. The good thing is that I’ve been improving them. I agree with every word and opinion you shared in this video! Thank you for sharing!

    Agree, but with a small doubt: actually modern VFX Supervisors, especially in advertising environment, kinda HAVE TO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT EVERYTHING. I've had moments in my career in which, let's say, in one month span I had to deal with 7-8 projects, each very different technologically from the others: from 2D traditional stop motion through C4D motion design to realistic Houdini sims to AI enviro generations and VP LED screen shoots. Pedro, what would be your comment this this situation?

  • @fschr_studio
    @fschr_studio 7 місяців тому

    One thing I would strongly disagree with: Pedro obviously HAS some superpowers which we, ordinary people, do not have. Change my mind.

  • @fschr_studio
    @fschr_studio 7 місяців тому

    Pedro, this is all great content! But please, buy a better camera and arrange the stuff in the background a bit! :) (I can't really concentrate because of this red can on the right... I will not sleep until I know what it is.). Unless this is your conscious aesthetic choice - to appear AS IT IS and not waste time on beauty bullshit.

    Some remote solution has yet to implement any sort of buffered streaming function for reviewing. Could be a selected portion of the screen or the whole thing, but removing the real time aspect to ensure maximum quality during playback. I still have no idea why nobody implemented this.

    My favourite part about the Industrial Revolution was when hundreds of thousands of skilled workers were able to quit their jobs and pursue hobbies making 17th century england one of the happiest time periods. People certainly didn't starve because they were out of work.

      Just give that 1-2 more years .. and then another 1-2 years. This is a monster out of the box and executives will expect huge results instantly. In general, there will be less positions available in design and video. The speed at which this grows, people cannot understand. Nobody knows but it’s faster than any of us think

    i dont rlly understand how you can apply this to our job and how to grow. I understand the food and ferrarri example but those decision arent rlly the same as decision we do in our job. DO you have an example what might be a good decision for a vfx carreer compared to a bad short term decision?

    • @RichardServello
      @RichardServello 11 місяців тому

      Well, actually having 20 years of realm experience in high end vfx I can tell you, the only truly good decision is to not do vfx. But if you insist on pursuing this idiotic career path, network. We aren’t a competitive industry. We work together. I always get people work. My first 5 years was thanks ton recommendations.

    I blame Woke hollywood writers. In their depravity and self-righteousness they've boxed in their stories around 4 walls: feminism, trans, multiculturalism, godless. When you submit to a subjective morality you have weak morals hence weak moral of the story. Most of us can't relate to the hollywood bubble land of self-congratulatory virtue signaling. We are living in the greatest time in history of hack filmmakers and garbage films. There's no excuse for the hard work we work on to be such trash hack writing.

    Thanks for sharing your pov, I just think that the ai is something more than a tool, we are now in the beginning of using ai directly in VFX and we can call it tool now but soon or late it becomes something more than a tool , it will be able to think and solve problems, also could have artistic sight. In my opinion the main down side of using ai is we will loose our skills of doing stuff and ability of solving problems and maybe critical thinking.
