Mister Nishimura, The most difficult part of shoe making, for me, is making patterns. With your method I just made the BEST pattern I have ever made! 5 years ago you taught me how to make lasts. Then Your 'measuring shoes' made my lasts perfect! Now I learn, from you, how to make good patterns. From you I have learned the most. And your cinematography is also very good. I thank you very much! Jay
Dear Kazuma Nishimura! Your are excellent talent and thank you for your videos! Please turn off the radio or tv sounds during the video recording. Best regards!
Hello! Please tell me, what thickness of insole do you use? I started sewing shoes, made them using cement method. Now I want to make welt-stitched ones, but in my country (no import) I found only sole leather 4.5 mm thick. It seems to me that this is not enough and this leather is very hard. Maybe I should glue canvas and make a kind of Goodyear insole?

instead of gluing two layers of the leather insoles then carving off a layer to make a ridge to sew into. wouldnt it be easier to glue a strip of leather on to one layer its basically acting as the gemming.

Is the hardner something special or I could make it on my own? What do you use?
Sole bend as insole, just to make it really difficult! But then, belly leather is too soft.
I too use sole bends for my insoles.
This is amazing.

I see that the feline supervisors came and inspected several times. And later you were joined by a small apprentice who did some fine hammering.
