Leo Fender RIP !!Thank you for creating the greatest bass ( The P Bass ) on the planet . I love these strings, I want to get another P Bass and have these put on my new bass
Mo Foster's albums Bel Assis and Southern Reunion are absolute masterpieces. He also played bass on several Alec R. Costandinos (disco) albums! I especially like "And Then There Were Ten" from the Bel Assis album. Mo Foster is one of my favorite bassists, alongside Chris Squire (RIP) of YES and Geddy Lee of RUSH.
I’m expecting a slab body p bass copy in December, going to slap a set of these on the bass for the John Entwistle mojo. RIP Mo, may you be jamming with John up there
I just bought some Swing Bass 66 a couple of weeks ago. So far going good. I really like the tone and feel of the strings. Coming from a set of Dean Markley SR2000 strings.
I know not to compare qualityt and cost with a lot of things but when I got my Jaco fretless jazz bass and heard about these strings as a must I was surprised how low cost they are for the sound they produce.
His playing is fantastic. I say that because his age and playing style don't usually go together. The older bassists are, they usually seem to be all about "Veteran Root Note Status." This only comes from meeting "Veteran" bass players in person. We all know of those on youtube or solo bass artists who are far older and are great solo acts of the bass guitar. Just pointing that out before someone has to name three to five wonderful bass guitarists who are much older than most.
hiephoi058 yeaah ! Right ! Rotosound for poor people... Is that why all the best bassists in the world use them ? ( seriously go check out rotosound users and endorsers, just a few : JJ burnel from the stranglers, Steve Harris iron maiden, Rodger waters etc..) The list is huge
Rest in Peace, Mo. Your legendary playing will live on 🙏🎵🎶❤️
RIP Bass brother!! The world is a sadder place without you😢
The angle on the tuners is good for my OCD thanks

Mo's playing in "I cannot believe it's true" live in the 80's is some sick playing!!!!!!!! One of my all time favorite bass riffs !
Listen to this with headphones on, Great tone!
Laptop speakers just don't cut it! ;) I love bass!
Krist Novoselic used these!!
I saw Mo Foster with Jeff Beck's There and Back Tour in 82 at the Orpheum in Vancouver and he was just solid as hell! Great concert!

Hi Rotosound ia your good brand of strings are available in the Philippines, Where can I buy that here , Thanks
Hi! Yes they are available in the Philippines. Our distributor is Lazer Music lazermusic.com.ph/
excellent playing, no gymnastics or showboating, the way demo videos should be..
IIRC, I believe "Ready Freddie" Washington uses Rotos also.
Anyone know what the switches on Mo’s bass do? I’m guessing on off for each pickup and a series/parallel switch. Anyone know for sure?
What do these sound like when compared to Rotobass RB45?
Why the reverb?
